    Chicken burrito

The burritos are HUGE - 3 meals per burrito. And so friggin good. I get the chicken. So much flavor.

It was very good. The owner's father was working that night and was very nice. The service was very good. Okay, okay. You need to order the burrito when you go there. It is the size of a small car and can feed three people with ease. The one great thing is it is full of flavor. The menu is small but the food is good. The drinks were great and I really like the atmosphere. Very quaint. Highly recommend Bean Burrito

Beautiful bar with the kindest bar tender and servers. This bar is the heart and soul of Rincon.

The server/bar tender (Elizabeth) is the kindest most hard working person. All the staff goes above and beyond the call to ensure a comfortable experience. The servers are great with kids and know how to make incredible drinks. The food at Rincon is so fresh. Walking in, I feel comfortable and at home. Rincon is a staple in my life and a great place to relax and have great conversation with the staff.

    Monster chicken burrito

Still solid after all these years. Salsa is super fresh made every day and taste like it would be in Mexico. Monster burritos that seem like it'd be good for five meals, what always it take home portion. Incredibly friendly staff who work hard and never have an attitude. Since this business cares about giving quality food at their prices.

Stopped by on a whim, as it was close by to a local business I was frequenting. Only a few people there, clearly it was not peak hours-but the food I ordered, was nothing short of stellar. Amazing tacos!! This is an absolute gem-will be making excuses to go back

    Guacamole, chips and salsa

This place is the bomb! Portions are huge and everything is delicious- it's by far the best guacamole I've had in awhile. The quesadilla was so big I had half to eat for lunch the next day. The steak was tender and easy to eat - no struggles pulling at the meat to cut through it and ending up with the whole slice pulling out of the quesadilla. Everything is fresh and the owners are so sweet. Norwalk is a little bit of a hike for us but I'm going to make it a point to come here more often - there's just no good Mexican closer to me.

    Margarita

Small restaurant on post road in Norwalk. Passed it many times as looks can be deceiving. Our office ordered take out for lunch. The website shows the restaurant is open at 11 am. I called at 1130 and was told they aren't open yet. Called back at noon placed order for pick up. We had tamales that were very dense with a sweet after taste and the pork meat was sadly dry. The accompanying sauces were very fresh as well as spicy. Second we had fish tacos which were your normal fish taco nothing to write home about. The rice and beans we had as a side dish was a decent portion and tasted good but again nothing fabulous. We lastly ordered margaritas which were the smallest margaritas I have ever seen but that is the only reason the two star rating is being given. The drinks were fresh and potent but severely overpriced as was the food. Won't be back Parking is ample They do take credit card and are open for lunch and dinner

    Massive burrito, definitely share

Best Mexican place in Fairfield Area, probably all of Connecticut. It's been a regular place we go to! I highly recommend.

Popular menu items include birria tacos, octopus, shrimp ceviche, and steak chimichurri. My daughter and I visited here for her birthday, and we both love Latin cuisine. As we walked in, we were greeted warmly and shown to our seats immediately. It was a chilly day, and the restaurant felt cold inside as well. The staff tried to warm things up with space heaters, but they didn't quite do the trick. We ordered empanadas, birria tacos, hanger steak, and sweet plantains with crema and queso fresco. When the dishes arrived, they were lukewarm--a bit disappointing, considering how cold it was outside. The birria tacos were delicious, though again, they could have been hotter. The meat was tender and well-seasoned, but I would have liked it a bit crisper. The hanger steak was tender, and the Pico de Gallo was bursting with flavor, pairing perfectly with the steak. It was nicely seasoned and had a good-sized portion. The empanadas were tasty, with flavorful and plentiful meat. The plantains were extremely delicious. The crema and queso fresco helped bring the whole dish together beautifully. The customer service was friendly, but the food could have been hotter; still, the flavors and seasonings were spot-on.

After almost 2 years of writing Yelp reviews, some events, and even a few new friends, it is…read morefinally time to write my century-mark review! For my 100th review, I wanted to pick something special for me. Though it was my first time visiting this place, I knew about from them following me on Instagram. Once combined with the Yelp rating and location, I knew I had been wanting to give these guys a visit. And so, Alma Bistro becomes my 100th review! Because I was on my lonesome, I was able to just take a seat at the bar, something I have always come to appreciate as an adult. I actually had 3 different people tending to me: 2 waitresses and 1 waiter. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful. I had actually asked about the "pp" by one of the menu items, and truth be told, they are talking about "per person" here! Helpful and great at their jobs! In fact, when I was ordering my food, one of my waitresses gave a special mention to another appetizer, those being the tuna tostada. It's not something I normally eat, but I figured why not! Trusting the employees can sometimes lead you to finding new favorites, and it shows that they really put their thought out when dealing with customer service. It doesn't look like much outside, but it's actually a different story inside! Plants help bring it even more life here, you get that casual feel when eating out, and even the bathrooms are clean! It's definitely a spacious place once you're inside. I did the full course here, which came out to $95.54 before leaving a $20.25 tip. The total therefore was $115.79. Definitely more of a treat than a place to come to every day, but I like it like that for reasons you'll soon find out. So for my appetizers, I had the aforementioned tuna tostada as well as the birria tacos. Those birria tacos are to DIE for! Came out hot, juicy, and just truly divine. The consume was flavorful and seasoned perfectly! Don't skip on these! As for the tostadas, they wouldn't be something I'd normally choose, but WOW was I impressed! These were tasty sons of guns, garnished with a plantain chips and give a spicy kick thanks impart to the jalapeños that garnish the plate. The presentation was superb too! For my entree, I almost went with the $35 Argentinian dish, but my instincts told me I HAD to try the Steak Chimichurri. I must say, that steak is without question one of the best steaks I'd ever had! I had mine medium-well, and it was juicy, seasoned perfectly, great crust that compliments the steak, you name it! It was absolutely HEAVEN on a wooden plate! You're given the yucca frites to go along with it, and these were good as well. The fries were the weakest part, but they were still good with that light, airy goodness. You just need that dipping sauce to elevate it and you're golden. For dessert, the gluten-free chocolate mousse cake! Actually, one of my waitresses Laura had to ask her manager if they were available to order, and luckily they were. You're given a tall slice of a chocolate layered cake with a strawberry drizzle on top and another case of great presentation! This slice slayed and was the perfect thing to end of this dinner. I also got their special menu Tropical Mule, and you have this pineapple garnish, kind of like the limes you might get in a Corona. The cup you get it in keeps the drink cold by not melting the ice quite so fast. Another case where it was worth every penny and then some. I love a good tropical drink and this one tasted great! Sweet enough to be tropical, but not overly sweet to where it can be off putting. Of course Alma is getting a 5! This was the perfect spot for me to take on my 100th review, and I hope you all have enjoyed your journeys on Yelp as much as I have so far. Many more great Yelp moments to come!

We were handed the menus immediately and the waiter poured us a glass of water. I ordered the Birria Tacos and my friend ordered the Steak Fajitas. The food came out in about twenty minutes and the Steak Fajitas came out sizzling and my Birria Tacos looked amazing. The Birria Tacos were filled with tender meat, great flavors, and seasoned to perfection. The only con I would have to say about the Birria Tacos were that they could of been cruncher and I really don't like Corn Tortillas because it leaves that corn taste in your mouth, and there kind of grainy. I would have preferred it to be on a Flour Tortilla. My friend said her Steak Fajitas were delicious. We even talked about the food the next day to plan another day to go back. The customer service was great and the staff were friendly and outgoing.

They had a lot of unique flavors and the prices were about industry standard. The food was a little above average. Not as good as some of the places in the Danbury area, but much better than the others in Norwalk. The rice was very good and the beans had a unique presentation and traditional vibe. The food seemed good quality and had a nice taste. The people were super nice. I really liked all of them. They were very genuine and wanted to help and offer great service! The prices were about average for the area. The ambiance was interesting. It actually reminded me a lot of the hole in the wall places I saw back in Mexico. It's nothing special, but not bad. You can tell it's designed to turn into a dance club at night though. So the tables and chairs are kind of run down. Overall very good and I'll come back.
