Terrible customer service my car was towed (quickly I'll add) I'm not mad my car was towed though there was confusion on what parking lot i was supposed to park in nonetheless they tried over charging me saying it took 75 mins to tow my vehicle ( where my vehicle was towed from and where their yard was was less than 2 miles!) apparently no matter if it takes 10mins or an hour they charge the same.... my issue waS her saying it took 75mins for my compact car to be towed so once i started asking for proof she stated she didn't have to give me any proof (although a sign was posted saying I'd receive proof) so i questioned the times stayed in the invoices because they DID NOT add up finally the girl said they have to charge an hour so i asked why they charged more when it didn't take as long as the paperwork said, she refunded me my excess of the hour (she wasn't happy) although i should've been the one with an attitude since they TRIED to overcharge me but I'll DEFINITELY contact the Better Business Bureau i wonder how many other people they overcharge . Where do I start my daughter Katie got her car towed away for reasons I don't want to explain last Tuesday 06/05/2018 on Monalee avenue from the front of our house because the police said it was in her name.She never transferred the title so basically that was unheard of.The next day I called Rincon towing and I spoke to a very rude person by the name of Crystal I told her that day that my husband had the pink slip and we wanted to get the Avalon out of tow yard to the tune that day for 350.She stated I had no right to talk to her about our daughters car stated police report is here. I took the day off from UCD was in so much emotional distress the way she treated me. I asked her on 6th of June if my husband and I could get car out of Rincon tow yard .I also asked her if she could call the owner who I went to Junior High and High school. She stated I am in charge her. The week went on and she kept insisting I had no right to get Avalon out.Come to find out on business day of 06/08 we found out that car was still in my husbands name.They were closed after that I talked to a sweet soul Sunday who paged Crystal.She called me back stating this is after hours very rude. I told her once again I wanted to talk to the owner he called me yesterday the phone was recorded and stated who are you Joann Thorsteinson that was long ago I am running a business.He also told me that if we wanted to sign pink slip over to him that would not work. He stated 685 for amnesty and towing fees you are using a space. I am 60 years old and in my whole life I have never been talked to this .He told me at work I will tell you one time only that you owe 950 plus towing. We tried to tow car out of his lot with AAA another cost. I think this man was a scooter boot guy with no education at all and has no heart at all.I would recommend Dennis Shanahan for a towing service but please realize this man is not a human being.Has no empathy. In closing Crystal told my daughter you can buy Saturn for 700 bucks. He keeps cars does not take them to auction and sells them.I believe in Karma and this man will get his .I am going thru hard times with my daughter and he did not have on inch of COMPASSION read more

If I could rate this place negative stars I would. Do not use this place. I was in a accident the other night at about 11 PM or a little after and my insurance company had me call this place. After being charged $198 before they would even come out (which was fine the insurance company was reimbursing me) I told them from the very beginning of the conversation and before payment that I had to have a flat bed truck and explained the reasons why. My car was not drivable and I was by myself in my car at night. After waiting for about 45-50 minutes for them to get there they showed up with a regular tow truck and not a flat bed. needless to say I was not happy and the tow truck driver would not even talked to me after I said i needed a flat bed tow he told me oh well, and just left me there. So i call the company back not happy at this point and used a few choice words, for the woman i originally talked to . I reminded her of the flat bed, she tells me Öh I forgot to tell them that". How is this my fault? She put on hold for about 7 minutes so i hung up called back and a male answered this time, and told me they were not going to tow me, find another place. So after they have already charged me for the tow and sent the wrong kind of truck i am still stuck part of the way in the road and looking for another tow company, with this company already holding $200 of my money, which they were going to refund me, but would not go immediately back on the card, so I am stuck without money for another tow place. Lucky I was able to get a tow from another company for $80 and will never use this company again, and will write as man bad reviews as i can on every site I can. I hope the man who made the decision to leave me on the side of the road and not tow me has a case of bad karma coming his way. Thanks Rincon you are truly a classless business read more

Like others have said, negative stars would be applied if applicable. My dirtbikes got stolen about a week ago, and one of which was recovered just recently. Got a call from the sheriff saying that it was being towed to this yard, without my consent, locking me into a $308 charge (which was unknown at the time) since the dirt bike was an hour away. The next morning my dad, who has the title, emailed the owner and explained that I would be coming up to pay the 2 door storage fee of $100, which is BS in itself since this is a stolen item and takes up virtually no space, additionally, this is the only charge that he told us about. In the email was also a statement releasing the bike to me, a copy of his ID, phone number, title of the bike, etc. since he was leaving for a business trip the next morning. After a reply email he made it seem as though that would be perfectly fine, I mean why wouldn't it be. So I drive 2 hours up to Sac to pick up the bike and when I get there (with my parent's CC ready to pay), I was informed of the $308 transportation fee. I was angered by this, but at this point just wanted my bike back. Apparently they also do not allow a payment by CC if the car holders is not physically present, even with a telephone confirmation, email releasing the bike and use of his card. I didn't have enough cash on me to pay the staggering bill, and my dad had to leave his business meeting to put money in my account so I could pay with my card , and so that we did not have to pay another day's fee, as well as return the next day. In conclusion shitty ass business with awful communication skills. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. read more

These people are terrible! Only used them because the officer that was at my daughters accident called them! They charged $180 for a tow that wasn't very far. $50 for the car to stay in their yard overnight and said if it wasn't removed by 10:30 am they would charge us for another day. Pretty rude too. They have a bad name even with other tow companies in town. Call around you get a much better rate elsewhere!! read more

If there was a 0 rating I will give it. It's not really that they towed my car. It's that they charged $230 for 3 miles, and what's worse, after the towing by Rincon the car's headlights stopped working. This has never happened even after an accident! This is very suspicious, especially after I read the reviews online of others out there that had things missing from their cars after towed by Ricon. For all of you out there that have been damaged or wronged by Rincon, there is something to do. It is high time Ricon were investigated by the Better Business Bureau, the California Department of Consumer Affairs and the Bureau of Automotive Affairs. There is always a complaint option with the City who issued their business license and the Department of Consumer Affairs that also has to do with their business license. The City might not do anything for you, but the above California state departments might. It's very easy to make a complaint. Go to the Department of Consumer Affairs, Better Business Bureau online, get a complaint form, fill it, and send it electronically or by mail with certificate of mailing. The State won't investigate one or two complaints; however there is power in numbers. If everyone who posted a bad review and was mistreated by Rincon lodges a complaint, there is going to be some investigation. The state departments are likely to forward these complaints to the Attorney General. We as citizens must curb these Ricon practices. read more

After my car was stolen and found by C.H.P. in the middle of the night a few days later it was picked up by Rincon. Luckily it was still drivable. A nice employee named Brandon helped me by putting on my spare and airing it up. I ended up having the car towed afterward anyways. There was another customer when I arrived at the tow yard and Brandon was running back and forth as well as apologizing for the delay. read more

A month ago my wife was injured in a hit and run accident. Rincon was called by the CHP to tow the car until the body shop could pick it up. After being stored for a few days the body shop picked it up. That was the last we heard from them and our insurance company took over dealing with payment for their services. Yesterday I received a certified letter from The DMV that Rincon would be placing our now repaired vehicle up for auction in a week due to a charge of 255.00 for storage. We have NEVER received anything from them prior to this either by phone or written communication. I called my insurance company flabbergasted about this and they had NEVER seen this before, either. The company called Rincon and were told that Rincon had been paid and that this must have "crossed in the mail." This was a Certified letter I had to pick up and sign for from the post office. This is an underhanded way of dealing as a business, especially with ZERO prior contact regarding this. I will tell everyone I know how this company treats consumers. read more

I was visiting my brother at his new apt. complex last weekend when he described the parking situation as "no one has assigned spaces". I admit I was suspicious but I foolishly gave him the benefit of the doubt and parked my car overnight. The next day my car was gone--towed by an annoyed tenant who DID have an assigned space. After some detective work (was my car stolen? was I really parked in an assigned space? why wasn't it marked? why my car missing of all the cars in the garage?), I had to retrieve my car from Rincon. The people at Rincon provided EXCELLENT customer service. They were very understanding, helpful, and quite honestly had a cleaner office/work area/lot than most restaurant kitchens. They politely provided photos to support the fact that I was in the wrong, were very reasonable about it, and delivered my car back to me fully intact and in great condition. I hope my car never gets towed and I don't have to use them again, but if I ever need a towing company in Sacramento, they're the best. read more

This was not my first rodeo with a tow company, and these guys do have to re-coop all the costs they incure...They were timely and proffessional. When your vehicle is towed after hours...you get what you pay for. My car was in a secure lot and all items were still inside of it. I understand that some people are expecting a miracle to save money...but that is not the tow companies problem. I am glad Rincon towed my vehicle and made sure I could obtain it as soon as possible. read more

Horrible ! their customer service is the worst , they will try an get over on you any way they can , they just want money any way they can get it, they state they are legal every way possible an that may be true as far as their business license but their means of doing things is shady an immoral . They will charge you even after you release your vehicle to them an then make it so the paper work states other wise because they aren't efficiently filing paper work or explaining the process upon stating the release of the vehicle , they know how to use the loopholes in the law to their advantage . I just wanted to take some time to write a review about the awesome service I received from Rincon Towing. Last week I was stranded on the highway with a blown tire. It was hot, and I had two children under 5 in the car. I googled tow in the area and Rincon was the first number to pop up. I called and talked to a very professional, helpful and friendly dispatcher. She could hear the urgency in my voice and vowed to get someone to me in 15 minutes. The price I thought was a little on the higher side, but as you all know, you pay for what you get. The driver showed up in 7 minutes. He towed me and my kids to the nearest tire shop. The service was fast and the driver was clean and the truck was very nice. The driver was very good at his job, and very helpful. I would recommend this company to anyone who ask. I just accompanied a Co worker to Rincon because her car had gotten stolen. The manager crystal, krystal, or however you spell it, or I forgot if that was even her name. Point is she said she was the manager and was EXTREMELY rude and had attitude right from the beginning. My coworker's phone had died, my phone was dying as well. All she wanted to do is call Triple A to ask them if they can come tow her car since she didn't have the keys to get it out(since it was stolen from her). The manager told her she did not have a phone she can use. On top of my coworker having to pay $420 for her car being there 4 days(over the weekend), they charged her an extra $35 just to tow her car out of their lot since it was a residential street and they said they couldn't have tripple A pull it out of their tow yard LMAO talk about extortion..I will be ...letting crystal's boss know how unprofessional his/her staff is. Crystal if you don't like your job, then get another girl! No one wants to deal with your bitter self! .....oh and my coworkers keys turned out to be in the car the whole time ha, which I'm sure they knew, they just wanted to get more money out of her, ridiculous! read more
