    For some reason, every time I've been to a Micro Center, I feel like I'm in some kind of technology…read moreclearance center of sorts. I don't know if that's the case, but it kind of feels that way. A lot of stuff here are brands I've never heard of, but you can find brand name stuff here (Apple, Belkin, Targus, JBL, etc). We came here to buy an external hard drive after the current one decided to die. When we asked an employee (I think his name was Hector), about whether or not the particular hard drive we were looking at would be right for its intended use, he was able to answer our questions. When we checked out, the cashier asked us a bunch of questions about what we were buying and if we had any questions. We asked her about protecting devices from static electricity, and she didn't have a clue about anything beyond scanning purchases and pushing the extended warranty plans. If you have questions about items here, just ask one of the employees...not a cashier. Overall, this is a nice clean store. Don't expect to find everything you're looking for. But if you need basic accessories and gaming stuff, this place has all of that.

    I dropped my computer off because two keys weren't working on it at all. They told me the computer…read morewouldn't turn on anymore and that I needed to pay for a motherboard and top case replacement (over $1000 repair) Instead I came back and took it home myself. Opened up the computer at my desk after I plugged it in, it turns on immediately and runs fine.
