I showed up for my 12pm tour and was told by the guide's room mate that the guide was out of town and he didn't understand why an appointment would've been booked. Frankly, I don't understand it either. I have reached out to get my $45 back. I felt that this may have been a scam, and I'm pretty sure it is since everyone else's reviews had them meeting up at other places while the confirmation I received said to meet up at the address provided, which is literally someone's house. Sorry for busting in your weekend, room mate. But I definitely want a refund since I was able to book and pay for a tour that wasn't going to happen due to the tour guide being "out of town".

Hidden gem alert…read more Whiskey Creek Hideout has quickly become one of my favorite places to bring my son. It's such a beautiful little escape and the perfect spot for a family day out. For only $6 per car, you can enjoy the creek, walk over to the beach, rent kayaks/paddleboards, grab food, drinks, and the most addicting slushies! I was definitely nervous the first time coming here alone with my son, but now I feel like a regular and it's become one of those places I genuinely love making memories at. The area is clean, relaxing, and the sweetest lady running the food stand makes the experience even better. A true South Florida hidden gem that I hope becomes a staple in my son's childhood.

The have protocols in place for safety and if your feeling they move to slow ... no they don't there are proper ways of getting things done.... If you're on a time crunch then kayaking is not it, go for a trail walk or sit at the beach or bike ride but don't kayak, that's the waters way of telling you to slow down. We rented the Kayak and it was a scenic ride. The guide gave great instructions on how to navigate the kayak and channels. I think it's a great adventure for everyone to try. WORST SERVICE I…read morecalled a week in advance to get a text message claiming not to worry and call when I arrived to Hollywood beach (I'm from Delaware). I called this morning to be told the rentals ended at 4 and was never told I needed a reservation. I look for the shop around 2 (which I never found) and called the shop to be told he's currently teaching a lesson to a group and to meet him along the water. I went to the shore, he wasn't there. Call back, he tells us to meet at a marina, he's not there. I walked up and down both Hollywood Lakes, spoke with Skipper multiple times to never find him. I gave up by 3:30 seeing the place closed at 4 and never received a call or apology.
