My husband and I did the museum tour and the mirror maze. Between the (4) tickets with a military discount we paid $62. We genuinely didn't feel it was worth the money. It was very crowded and we spent alot of time standing in line. There were also a lot of different activities throughout that you had to pay separately. For example, "pay $5 to push this button to see a more in depth look at the room you're already in". For $62, spending more money to wait in another line seemed futile. The mirror maze at the very end inside the gift shop was fun. The staff were friendly and everything seemed clean and taken care of. You do pay to park if you use their parking lot. It's $5/hr. However, there's a big public parking garage half a mile away with a $20 flat rate fee for the day. We stayed there all day and walked to our other activities read more

Believe it or not, but you're going to need to pay $5 an hour to park here, or a flat fee elsewhere. My wife was going to purchase entry tickets online, but there's a fee so we decided to purchase at the counter when we arrived. They do have add-on maze and something else. We opted not to do those things. I'm not going to go into detail as to what they have displayed, but it was very underwhelming to say the least. I remember this place being so much cooler when I was younger. My 9 year old was less than impressed as everything just seems so "outdated" and cheesy. Some of the interactive machines require paying additional money. The snack and beverage machines halfway through was basically empty. I'll say most of these things you can look up online now, and sure, I know it takes the fun out of seeing it in person, but the effort to keep up with times here is next to none. So I did a bundle up for my husband and myself. We did the tour of the museum and then in the evening we had a ghost investigation tour. With the ghost investigation tour, they did provide you with some ghost hunting equipment to use to see if you could attempt to make contact with a ghost that may possibly be in the museum. My husband and I did have a lot of fun. It is definitely worth the experience. We did not however make contact with any crazy ghost maybe something here or there which made it fun. Ha ha ha! Thankfully we had a senior discount for this farce! The best thing about it was driving through the town at night. Not sure what age group this would appeal to. Corny stories by fast talking guides, I have no idea what they were talking about. We were given these laser lights and a flashing hand held ghost finder, and told to take lots of pictures with our phones and if we saw any orbs or apparitions to send the pics back to them for their library of ghost sightings. Ghosts and Gravestones tour here in St. Augustine was a great experience. Our host for the evening was great and very knowledgeable about the history and bringing certain myths or phrases to life. My day started at the information center in St. Augustine. My group and I visited the Ripley's red train station. While there, we were discussing a plan with the worker at the booth. I am in a wheelchair, however extremely active and very little can slow me down. However, I asked the lady at the booth 4 times how will I be able to get onto the train, and will it be an issue? I would need a place for my chair to go while I'm on the train. She reassured me each time I asked, not to worry. The workers on the tour will be more than happy to help and assist, she would call ahead to let them know. There should not be an issue with getting on and off the train. So we booked 5 tickets for an 8:30pm ghost tour. Fast forward to 8:00pm. We arrive at Ripley early like advises. We check in and wait for the train to show up. As we awaited for the train to show up, our first tour guide started telling the stories. The entire he was speaking he kept looking right at me. The train shows up, he tells everyone to get on board. He completely ignores my group and I. As everyone else is on the train, my part and I are right next to the train. I called out to him 4 times, until the 5th I'm yelled excuse me sir, he finally acknowledged me. He said yes? I asked him what would be the best way for me to get on the train. He looked at me and said I don't know find a spot. It wasn't until the the driver jumped into action. And started to take care of my group and I. The entire experience was uneventful. Be wary of anything with the name Ripley associated with it. It's your common day rip off. The little shack on the first stop is kinda creepy but 100% gimmick, the cemetery is boring as you cannot go inside, and going through Ripley's at the end of the tour was the best part, but not worth the price of admission. I don't understand how it's 2019 and not only this train and experience in St. Augustine, but all the trains and trollers in the city do not have one of the cars that has a lift and or ramp and spot for wheelchairs. At this day in age, everyone one of the trains that give tours should have one of the cars wheelchair accessible. It is unexceptionable to not have a wheelchair accessible car on every train that tours through the city. The lack of care or concern from the tour guide was unacceptable. It was clear the lady didn't call ahead as she stated she would at the start of the day. Either way you approach this review, save your money. Spend it else where. You'll thank me. read more

Had an awesome time with this tour. Our guide on the train was Charlie who did an absolutely amazing job. Friendly, Knowledgeable, just awesome all around. We had Daphne as our driver who did a phenomenal job as well. They made a great team. Lots of laughs as well. We also had Daphne on one of our return train trips earlier in the day. Funny and knowledgeable as well during the day tour. I'm sure the spelling is going to be off but we had Taseeya for our museum part of the door. She was absolutely incredible. Friendly, Knowledgeable, all around a great time. Would totally recommend. We will be back. Def some strange happenings all around! read more

3 tickets for $84- very excited for our Halloween ghost adventures... then we get on the train and get split up and can't sit together, a guy in front of us vaping (has us all coughing), go to take off and the train won't start and we sit there broke down until they get another train delivered. We were misled that there would be a train likely because we didn't use Yelp initially to plan this and only went through the company's website. The tour lasted 60 minutes that I will never get back where we were encouraged to take photos and really look into them deeply for possible paranormal activity. Although it's supposed to be with social distancing ... that wasn't actually the case and occasionally many of us were crowded in smaller spaces and there were even people who were allowed in without masks. Since it was night time, there wasn't really a system in place to complain and request refund. Seriously, don't waste your time... go do an escape room or some other ghost tour in this town because some of the other ones (like those on trolley's) actually appear to hold up their end of the bargain. read more

Had a spine-tingling good time on this ghost tour last night. Bishop Kenny Peace, and Lisa, our host and hostess were well steeped in the grim and ghastly lore of St Augustine as we rode and strolled around the old city. Started from and ended at the Ripley's castle which we toured with Colin who had a really great piece of murder mystery history to share with us about this amazing place. Great tour! We were all excited to take this tour. Our first stop our tour guide explained that we could get our look around take pictures after he told us some history. So I along with the rest of the group did wander in the specific areas we were told we could wander & take pictures. All of a sudden we noticed people were gone. We were all in a "straw tent". Do we rushed to get back to the tram. It was gone. My husband kept telling the tour guide people were missing besides me. A total of 8 were left behind!!! When we realized we weren't part of a tour gag the main office was called by a gentleman. A bus came back to get us. Meanwhile, my husband kept telling them I was left behind along with others. (My husband & I were talking via cell phone.). We 8 received a full refund even though we were offered to go on a later tour. When the tram cane back I approached the tour guide while he was talking . I yelled at him & asked how could he leave some many people behind. He sarcastically apologized. The pictures and the tour these people are commenting about is a totally DIFFERENT and COMPETING tour company known as "Ghosts and Gravestones". There is NOT a trolley for The Ghost Train Adventure which begins and ends at the Ripley's Castle, and includes a guided tour through the haunted 1887 historic Castle Warden Estate Home. I'd recommend maybe taking day tour and visiting ripleys museum and instead of this tour visit Pirste and Treasure museum. Ghost Train is great for kids, they tell real stories and turn them into fictional ones about places being haunted... Great if you want to see the city at night, they make several stops around the city for few minutes each and lastly give you a ghost tour of Ripleys while all lights are off. I recomend not doing this and simply going to Ripleys museum during the day. Our tour guide was playing it off very well and she was kind. Good if you had kids, but I'd recommend maybe taking day tour and visiting ripleys museum, no complaints, no issues. Hope this helps and enjoy your vacation read more

This tour is amazing. It's an 1 hour and 20 minutes long, wish it was longer though because it went by pretty fast. Some parts I was a little spooked out but it was really interesting to hear the stories and the people who took us around were really nice, funny, and caring. Making sure we had a good time. If you come down to St. Augustine you should definitely do this tour, the tickets sell out pretty fast. read more

This review is for the Ripley's Ghost Train. The only "muerto" we saw on this tour was our guide, Charlie. Other customers were commenting, "que bofe", and what a "sapingo". I admit, I didn't understand what they were saying, but Charlie was not amused. He would remind us he was getting paid regardless. Boring. Thought we were going to learn some fun haunted ghost stories and was talked into this tour by a ticket booth over the ghost and graveyard. Instead went around flashing a green light and taking pictures of dark random rooms. Wouldn't do it again unless I had a two year old who wanted to play with ghost finding toys read more
