Dustin has been my personal trainer and coach since Aug 2021. He's made a very safe and comfortable environment for me. Being queer and having body dysmorphia, I always feared the judgment and pressure of a traditional gym. At first, I wanted to learn what exercise routine would work best for me so I could continue what I learned from Dustin on my own. But after the first few sessions with Dustin, I cared for his attention, motivation, happy and positive attitude, and ability to let me be me when I'm working out. I started the Priority ME Program in October and have gained so much knowledge and physical and mental results. Of course it has to start within to do the work but with Dustin's program, support and motivation he got me to a better place of staying consistent and seeing results. Although the name of the program should be self explanatory it didn't dawn on me till weeks into it that I have to be intentional about ME Being #1 priority. Dustin really changed my outlook on my priorities of putting myself first, getting rest, eating better, setting boundaries, making allowances but knowing my limits. I have now been working out with Dustin since June of 2021. You can view my original review for how the connection came about. I'm back today to reaffirm my excellent experience. June will mark my 3 year anniversary with Dustin and my 48th year on earth. Dustin has made working out a pleasure and has helped me lose weight, gain strength, tone and enjoy an overall increase in self confidence and life' satisfaction. I hired Dustin to host a Cardio Dance Workout for my Birthday. He allowed me to send the link to as many of my friends & family that I wanted (about 15 logins ended up joining). Dustin let me pick out some of my favorite music to be a part of the workout and then gave lots of great shout-outs to me and my friends throughout. I would 100% recommend him for any celebration at all - but also for his normal weekly Cardio Dance classes too. Dustin is kind, full of energy and makes you feel special no matter your abilities. Dustin is amazing! I typically do HIIT style workouts in the park near my house but felt like I was reaching a plateau and overworking some muscles while neglecting the others. So I called Dustin for a 4 day intensive to break through my workout barrier and help show me some workouts I can do while traveling this summer and I'm SO GLAD I did!!! Not only did we have some incredible workouts but he showed me some exercises I've never done before that has my body really transforming. He taught me some things I can do while traveling and even made me some lists and videos to take with me. GENIUS. First, let's get this out of the way. I am not normally a person who "loves" to work out. Outside of a sports team in high school, I've never really followed an exercise plan and been consistent. But, after just completing a 6-month workout series with Dustin, I have to say that he has revolutionized the way I think about working out. I don't like working out, but got started with Dustin doing dance cardio. It's not easy to start a new routine but feeling his energy and positivity motivated me not just to get fit but to enjoy the workout and feel good about myself. He's an amazing instructor. Started strength training for the first time in August of 2018 as a bday gift to myself. It was a different form of exercise as I'm use to only cardio but knew it was good for me. My sessions were for one month, I decided to continue as I could feel a difference in my body, it was stronger. Dustin pushes, and encourages but definitely pushes me to challenge myself through resistance training, weights, and any other exercise he throws at me. Dustin is wonderful! I had personal training sessions with him over the summer and was pretty out of shape when we started. I needed to get back my motivation, kick start my workout routine, and focus on toning and strength. Definitely made significant progress in a few months. Dustin adapted the workouts to my level and needs. They were always challenging, and I definitely felt it the next day, but always doable and a realistic stretch for my fitness level. Dustin is so encouraging and always mixed up the workouts to keep them interesting. I loved his flexibility in coming to my house for the workouts...definitely no way to get out of a workout that way! I am a fitness snob. I have taught in the fitness world for almost 15 years. I am always skeptical when I work out with someone new because I know a lot about fitness. I had a baby almost three years ago and while I have lost all of the weight there are just some things that don't feel the way they once did. I have worked with Dustin several times now and am thrilled with the workout, the encouragement, and the results. He comes up with exercises that are challenging but manageable. Pushing me out of my comfort zone with usually 2-3 more reps than I would do if I were working out on my own. He takes the time to stretch you out at the end as well (this is something that most trainers aren't willing to do). His rates are incredibly reasonable and trust me it's worth it. I will tell you my favorite thing about working out with him...I just enjoy his company. He is kind, funny, energetic, honest, punctual, and focused. I couldn't recommend him more. read more
