Love it here! The workout was so good. The space is trendy, dark, spacious, with neon lights and a great playlist. Very clean and nicely air-conditioned--doesn't feel musty at all. Committed to ONIX for 2 months to help boost marathon training. Was really hype about it. Not a cheap membership and definitely something new for me. Really beautiful facility with awesome instructors and banging sound system. Definitely enjoyed the workouts but had a hard time strategizing the days that would be most beneficial for training. They could really reel some more folks in if their customer service improved. I never received any information about what the membership included or what the opportunities were if I chose to use the recovery services. I got the run around regarding recovery sessions that come with a first time member that I was never informed of (3 totally different responses from 3 different team members) they seem to prioritize the folks that use these amenities often-- when I decided to cancel the membership there was no follow up or any opportunity for feedback-- I got an email that said "No worries your last day is on the 12th" There were things that just didn't really feel very welcoming or community like here--I could be alone on this & I'm really okay with that. read more

I'm in my mid 50s and a year ago decided it was time focusing my aging body. I like most people who have been away from the gym was apprehensive about joining for fear of embarrassing myself. The workouts are challenging but doable if you are truly ready to improve your physical health. But yes...this place accommodates ALL. From the person who's shy but wants to learn weights...but wont go to a gym cause its scary...to the I train 'LIKE ARNOLD.' (*insert Arnold voice) If you, like I, have been around gyms forever...we all know there are GOOD pieces of equipment...and then there are WASTE OF SPACE..and MONEY contraptions that sit in the corner that you swear one day you'll use. ‍ This place...has GREAT EQUIPMENT. Like...useful pieces that will ACTUALLY contribute to your functional movements (especially if you're getting older or sit all day for work). Like...you'll hate cardio LESS here...cause they dont have you running forever (cough cough like some gyms) or have you pretending your burning calories JUST cause you saw sweat on your face. There is GREAT STRUCTURE...programming and ACTUAL progression REGARDLESS of your training experience. Every trainer is AWESOME.... and every trainer trains differently. THIS ISNT BAD...it allows you to really find what you need and want. So if you have the flexibility...you can realistically take 2 classes a day (if you're insane or had a major cheat day) and really get your money's worth. But...lets be clear...EACH CLASS you're burning so many cals....training your endurance/stamina...and BUILDING MUSCLE ‍ (insert AVENGER THEME) If you read this far...‍ thanks. This is a stellar gym experience. Whether you're traveling and need a short term place to really jack up your exercise intensity or looking for a long term exercise community that will continuously push you to your limits. I'd highly recommend Onix and Iconix gyms. Onix is as if CrossFit, Barry's and F45 all had a beautiful baby that is ready to kick your ass into go mode. I am a CrossFit athlete and travel a lot and it's so hard to find a good gym that I leave feeling accomplished. This gym is phenomenal in that it pushes you to your limit whether you're a beginner or an advanced athlete. I've had the pleasure to work with some coaches and they all bring a unique twist to the experience that really solidifies the gym's credibility. The head coach AJ is amazing and highly educated which shows in the weekly programming. Also, Jake, Adriana, and Lo are some other coaches I've worked with that are not only so personable and welcoming, but don't let you give up and make sure your giving it your all. Ben and Sarah at the front desk were awesome and were able to get me started in the gym, as well as the sick recovery club they have which includes an ice cold plunge pool, sauna, red light therapy, ergo tech, and Dexa machine. I highly recommend Onix if you have a busy lifestyle like me and want to hit an intense, efficient work out daily. Add on Iconix membership to really get the full experience of a full sized gym, yoga studio, boxing, cycling, rooftop work out area, and top of the line locker rooms with steam rooms, shower, and all the necessities you need to hit it hard and head to work. Was new to the area and decided on Onix. It was a bit of a change up from my usual fitness routine. The class intensity/workouts were sometimes a hit or miss for me. I took classes with a good majority of the coaches and they were all great. I did feel the class sizes were a bit large for the gym size. When full, the floor got pretty crowded especially with all of the equipment. I found it difficult to progress this way. I also never utilized the recovery options. Overall, a great little boutique gym. However, if lifting is more of your focus, it would probably better serve as a complement to a different fitness regimen. read more

This place is super cool! The atmosphere is very energetic and inspiring to work out harder. I love the interior with dark colors, the trainers are very motivating and knowledgeable. The workouts have combination of everything and you do not get bored just get great work out, sweat, build muscles. I used to go to F45 and Orange theory, this place got the best out of all. Onix has helped me get back on TRACK!! I have taken classes with AJ, Troy, Jake, Lo, Dre and Robin and I cannot say how great their trainers are. They are all so motivating and knowledgeable. I love how the programming is the same for the whole month so you can see how you are progressing. Their front desk is also super friendly, shout out to Lauryn. Truthfully, I was SUPER hesitant to try out a new gym on 2nd street. My boyfriend had been talking to Andrew and got us in for a free class. I immediately cancelled every other gym pass I had (even my grandfathered in memberships!!!) because I am HOOKED ON ONIX My body has gotten so much stronger in two months than any other gym experience. I've had personal trainers, did strength hot yoga, and my own gym workouts which were great BUT the Onix instructors AND the equipment is physical fitness geniuses. & FUNNNNN! This gym is great!! The facility is amazing. They have all kinds of really cool equipment. They have rowing machines, sled push treadmills, ski ergs all kinds of stuff. My husband and I go there. We really enjoyed the classes. In fact, sometimes we do 2 a day. Be sure to go to Caitlyn's class!! Oh and don't get me started on the bathroom it's sooooo nice! Not only was it a killer workout but she is SO positive, motivational, and takes the time with each person to make sure form is correct. Music is huge for me too and she knows just how to get the people pumped up!! I will definitely be taking her class again and be joining ONIX.
