Obviously, I can not rave about this place enough! It is so underrated, and as an Asian American myself, I am so impressed that China Cafe has not only survived but thrived with Asian Cuisine in a tiny Texas town regardless of the insistent and horrible discrimination and micro aggressions they face every day. Lunch hours from 11-2pm are really busy time for this location and the buffet is constantly being stocked and food is fresh. Later, from 4pm-6pm I believe buffet is a little more expensive but the buffet is usually stocked with fresh hot food. In between those "best times" I imagine it's a challenge to keep food at it's highest quality because there aren't so many customers. You just need to ask for something to be made fresh and it's usually not a problem for them to get it ready for you. I've also ordered off the menu and have really enjoyed most of their offerings too. Don't care for the entree and rice combination meals but everything else I've tried has come out fresh and hot.
