Ridiculous! This is the second time they have messed up. I've been coming forever I always make appointments. I had an appointment today at 5:30p they called me 20 mins prior to ask if I was coming and I said I'll be there. I get there someone else is in the chair and they have the appt away. I have been seeing Myee for the longest time but this is crazy. Be considerate of peoples times and appointment spots. I can even show them where they called me. I don't recommend if you need a service done and expect it to be done. I got recommended here by a coworker. Her nails are on point literally! I showed up around 10 and they weren't that busy. I got seated in the chair right away for my pedicure. The lady that did my nails was amazing. She really worked wonders with massage on my feet and lower legs. Very unprofessional, charged me and my friend a $10 difference for the same service besides my friend needing to add a little acrylic to ONE toe. The tech preforming her pedicure service told her it would be $1 then at check out said he was joking. during our service multiple people had discrepancies in their total leading me to believe they intentionally charge more after service has been done. read more

Once I started doing that, I've never had an issue waiting too long to get serviced. Now that I've found a pedicure and manicurist, Risana is my go to for all my nail needs. Initially, I wasn't sure where to check-in because there is no one attending the front counter. It took me a few minutes to realize there is a tablet used to check in. Once I did the check-in process, my technician came to get me. I requested a pedicure. I absolutely loved the work she did. I melted once she started massaging my feet. My last set was also Gel X and lasted 4 weeks! I wish Tina, who also works there, did nails within her own business because she's amazing and never had a whole nail pop off with her.. Receptionist has an attitude too. But she's young & not in a strict work environment so I understand. I was a walk in on a non-busy day for an acrylic fill and gel pedicure. My experience was overall great. I was taken care of by TIFFANY. She did my nails perfectly. I wanted a kind of translucent/milky/jelly nail look and I got exactly what I was wanting. I definitely had my doubts at first but the result was perfect for me. I have been to this Salon/Spa many times. The first thing you will notice is the decor which is very inviting. They offer an array of services including Manicure, Pedicure, Massage, Facial, Hair Services, Waxing etc. I do enjoy this place more so during the weekday because it is very relaxing. I went on a Sunday and it was more like a hangout. The staff was loud talking across the room to each other in Vietnamese, which for someone who doesn't speak Vietnamese it can get irritating when it escalates above light chatter. But other than those times the experience is very relaxing. They have private areas for Pedicures which are much quieter. I may try that next time. Everyone I have encountered has been very polite. When I get a pedicure (Helen) takes her time and is amazing. She always offers me something to drink, a choice between, water, wine, tea or coffee. Yes ladies I said wine! That in and of itself is worth the experience. I've also had the experience of having a massage here from (LT) I can say, on a local level it was one of the best massages I've ever had. I went to this salon yesterday... was there for a little over three hours... which I was not the really bothered by because I had the time... A young lady by the name of Mimi did my nails. She was sweet. Very nice... but her nail technician skills aren't. My nails look nothing like what I showed her I wanted. My nails are real in length but have an overlay of liquid gel and gel color so what I asked for was very possible. I'm mean I other people do nails exactly the way I want them... I showed her and the management a picture of exactly how I wanted my nails and they said that they could replicate the nail job I wanted but they failed miserably... Just moved to the area looking for a cute nail salon that wasn't going to charge me a ridiculous amount. The salon is super cute and they have tons of rooms for you to get your nails done. I went here to celebrate my birthday and it was fantastic! I got the mini package, which includes either an ocean water manicure or pedicure, 30 minute deep Swedish massage, AND a 30 minute facial. Linda (I hope I got that correct. I was so sleepy after the massage.) took excellent care of me! She offered me free drinks, such as soda, wine, water, juice, etc. The ocean water pedicure includes the typical stuff but also a sugar scrub, mask, and hot towels. Afterwards, they rubbed my legs and feet with a moisturizing oil and lotion. They carried my things for me to the next location of the spa where they did the massage and facial. This is my first time ever getting a massage and it was great! I felt so relaxed! More hot towel treatment during both the massage and facial. The facial was amazing as well as she used the microdermabrasion tools, high frequency tools, and she used very excellent brand skin products on my skin. My face is more moisturized than it's been for a while. I've been lacking in my skincare routine lately so this was definitely a redeemer. I was also given a 10% discount for my birthday as well but if I'm correct, I think they give discounts to repeated customers. The cost of the package I had was $165 and it was definitely worth it! But if you just come here for a manicure or pedicure, that alone gets the same great treatment. I can't wait to come again! read more

She would not stop talking about it, which btw makes it worse because now thats all I think about. She kept going on to the point of me saying to her "I can go somewhere else if you don't want to do it." She said "...can't you get surgery for this? My best friend took me here for a nail day to celebrate my birthday. She's had such a good experience here that I was really excited to go and be pampered. Unfortunately, I got the opposite. Her nail tech still gave her great service but mine was totally lacking and I felt so bad to have not enjoyed my time since it was a birthday gift. I didn't catch the name of my tech since she didn't introduce herself when she came up to me but rather just rushed me while I was trying to choose my polishes. She kept pushing me towards getting gel nails and I kept giving her a stern no since I've always had natural nails. She even criticized me for choosing one color for my fingers and a different color for my toes - it's my nails so why does it matter? I felt rushed through the spa pedicure and through the manicure. I guess since we're not paying for gel or a more expensive package that they can just be extra lazy with our service. I guess that's also the reason why everyone else got offered a wine menu and I didn't. For the record, yes I am Vietnamese and I can FLUENTLY understand you while you're talking about me and my friend in front of our faces. I know that getting a pedicure at a spa means that you are devoting some time to yourself . Though I was amazed that getting a pedicure meant that my feet would be soaking for 40 minutes , as well as waiting an additional 15 minutes for a nail technician to be assigned to me. Did I mention that I was there early in the morning and the spa wasn't full. I went back for the VIP experience however I heard a child screaming in the background the entire hour and 20 minutes I was back there. The child wasn't with a customer but was one of the employee's. When another customer asked if someone could check on the child she was told that he was just playing video games . When spending extra to go into a secluded part of the spa you are paying for a little more serenity not to feel like you are back home hearing a crying and screaming child. Again no one checked on the child who again was in the back of the spa screaming. I can honestly say once my pedicure was started I could see why people rated the spa highly. I just wasn't impressed with the customer service, or organization of the spa as well as the ambiance. I went to this place with another friend of mine where she got a manicure while I was waiting for my pedicure and this was on Sunday by Monday evening her nails had begun to chip. I was visiting Woodridge, VA last week and needed emergency help with my gel nails that were lifting. Mike was able to help me as a walk-in and did a beautiful job on my nails. The layer is thinner than it was before, which I love, they are shaped nicely, and I am very happy with what he did. I didn't write a review the first two times I've had issues (nails weren't lasting, too thin, not enough polish, nails not smooth and taking more than 2 hours for a simple set) but this last time I went in for a gel manicure and pedicure. I already had acrylics on but because I had a broken nail I asked for them to be soaked off..I get to the chair and the nail lady cuts them short then proceeds to remove my nails with another nail (it was a tip that she used)..ok cool, no problem..whatever it was clean and not used but then when I got to the checkout they charged me for a soak off when it literally took her less than 2 min to pop my nails off. Absolutely not, this place is overpriced for the work they do. I will never step foot here again. read more

Monique is my go to at this nail shop and I love her - I am a stylist so I am always washing hair and even with that my nails last on average 4 weeks. If Monique isn't available then Tracey is my next go to- they are both so sweet and so good with my nails Unfortunately Monique is no longer there and besides Tracey I'm not sure if I would go back. I started coming here about a year ago, and originally found that the nail techs seemed to be very nice and could do much of what was asked of them. Unfortunately my last 4 experiences here were terrible. Apparently even if you make an appointment they can see other people (who didn't make an appointment) before you and ask you to wait another 30-45 minutes. I should have stopped coming when that happened. But I try not to judge a company by one or two bad experiences especially when their work is so good. Well not only did something similar happen today but when they finally saw me I showed the guy and exact picture of what I wanted and asked if he could do it and he said yes. Then while working on my nails said he would have to send me to someone else cause he couldn't do the design. I was confused because I specifically asked if he could do it but no problem. I showed him a French manicure with chrome and asked if he could do that instead. He said yes I can do it. He proceeded to paint my nails then said I can't do that. You have to get someone else. Then told me he didn't want to do it because I let out a sigh (wtf) then I repeatedly asked why he indicated he could do it if he couldn't. The lady next to him then said he can't do it you have to choose something else. After sitting here for almost 2.5 hours I wasn't going to chance it again. If he can't do a French manicure with chrome then why am I even bothering asking him to do anything. Now I have to find someone else to redo the gel and it's gonna cost $25! All because he lied. Yes they can do nails well but Their customer service is very bad. This was the first time I didn't tip but there was no way I was going to tip when I now have to pay to get my nails redone because he lied and could not do the job. So I will just say this. Try this place at your own risk. They don't care if you have an appointment. They will lie and say they can do the work and still make you pay when they can't. Personally I'm moving on. I have been here a few times for a dip manicure and the last few times were very disappointing. I usually come in the evening after work and while they do take walk ins it is better to schedule an appointment. One time I did a walk in and had a nail tech start working on my nails and then say "someone else will help you I have an appointment coming in" and I had to sit and wait for someone else to help me. Most recently I had a dip manicure done and after only 4 days it started chipping and most of the nails were cracked; when I went in to get it fixed I appreciated their willingness to help and have someone redo them but my nails weren't completely dry when my tech said I was good to go and moved on to another customer; I almost walked out the door until I noticed they weren't dry.
