Ridiculous! This is the second time they have messed up. I've been coming forever I always make appointments. I had an appointment today at 5:30p they called me 20 mins prior to ask if I was coming and I said I'll be there. I get there someone else is in the chair and they have the appt away. I have been seeing Myee for the longest time but this is crazy. Be considerate of peoples times and appointment spots. I can even show them where they called me. I was a walk in on a non-busy day for an acrylic fill and gel pedicure. My experience was overall great. I was taken care of by TIFFANY. She did my nails perfectly. I wanted a kind of translucent/milky/jelly nail look and I got exactly what I was wanting. I definitely had my doubts at first but the result was perfect for me. She was sweet. Very nice... but her nail technician skills aren't. My nails look nothing like what I showed her I wanted. My nails are real in length but have an overlay of liquid gel and gel color so what I asked for was very possible. I'm mean I other people do nails exactly the way I want them... I have been to this Salon/Spa many times. The first thing you will notice is the decor which is very inviting. They offer an array of services including Manicure, Pedicure, Massage, Facial, Hair Services, Waxing etc. I do enjoy this place more so during the weekday because it is very relaxing. I went on a Sunday and it was more like a hangout. The staff was loud talking across the room to each other in Vietnamese, which for someone who doesn't speak Vietnamese it can get irritating when it escalates above light chatter. But other than those times the experience is very relaxing. They have private areas for Pedicures which are much quieter. I may try that next time. Everyone I have encountered has been very polite. When I get a pedicure (Helen) takes her time and is amazing. She always offers me something to drink, a choice between, water, wine, tea or coffee. Yes ladies I said wine! That in and of itself is worth the experience. I've also had the experience of having a massage here from (LT) I can say, on a local level it was one of the best massages I've ever had. I went here to celebrate my birthday and it was fantastic! I got the mini package, which includes either an ocean water manicure or pedicure, 30 minute deep Swedish massage, AND a 30 minute facial. Linda (I hope I got that correct. I was so sleepy after the massage.) took excellent care of me! She offered me free drinks, such as soda, wine, water, juice, etc. The ocean water pedicure includes the typical stuff but also a sugar scrub, mask, and hot towels. Afterwards, they rubbed my legs and feet with a moisturizing oil and lotion. They carried my things for me to the next location of the spa where they did the massage and facial. This is my first time ever getting a massage and it was great! I felt so relaxed! More hot towel treatment during both the massage and facial. The facial was amazing as well as she used the microdermabrasion tools, high frequency tools, and she used very excellent brand skin products on my skin. My face is more moisturized than it's been for a while. I've been lacking in my skincare routine lately so this was definitely a redeemer. I was also given a 10% discount for my birthday as well but if I'm correct, I think they give discounts to repeated customers. The cost of the package I had was $165 and it was definitely worth it! My best friend took me here for a nail day to celebrate my birthday. She's had such a good experience here that I was really excited to go and be pampered. Unfortunately, I got the opposite. I went back for the VIP experience however I heard a child screaming in the background the entire hour and 20 minutes I was back there. The child wasn't with a customer but was one of the employee's. When another customer asked if someone could check on the child she was told that he was just playing video games . When spending extra to go into a secluded part of the spa you are paying for a little more serenity not to feel like you are back home hearing a crying and screaming child. Again no one checked on the child who again was in the back of the spa screaming. I can honestly say once my pedicure was started I could see why people rated the spa highly. I just wasn't impressed with the customer service, or organization of the spa as well as the ambiance. I went to this place with another friend of mine where she got a manicure while I was waiting for my pedicure and this was on Sunday by Monday evening her nails had begun to chip. I already had acrylics on but because I had a broken nail I asked for them to be soaked off..I get to the chair and the nail lady cuts them short then proceeds to remove my nails with another nail (it was a tip that she used)..ok cool, no problem..whatever it was clean and not used but then when I got to the checkout they charged me for a soak off when it literally took her less than 2 min to pop my nails off. I usually come in the evening after work and while they do take walk ins it is better to schedule an appointment. One time I did a walk in and had a nail tech start working on my nails and then say "someone else will help you I have an appointment coming in" and I had to sit and wait for someone else to help me. Most recently I had a dip manicure done and after only 4 days it started chipping and most of the nails were cracked; when I went in to get it fixed I appreciated their willingness to help and have someone redo them but my nails weren't completely dry when my tech said I was good to go and moved on to another customer; I almost walked out the door until I noticed they weren't dry. I started coming here about a year ago, and originally found that the nail techs seemed to be very nice and could do much of what was asked of them. Unfortunately my last 4 experiences here were terrible. Apparently even if you make an appointment they can see other people (who didn't make an appointment) before you and ask you to wait another 30-45 minutes. I should have stopped coming when that happened. But I try not to judge a company by one or two bad experiences especially when their work is so good. Well not only did something similar happen today but when they finally saw me I showed the guy and exact picture of what I wanted and asked if he could do it and he said yes. Then while working on my nails said he would have to send me to someone else cause he couldn't do the design. I was confused because I specifically asked if he could do it but no problem. I showed him a French manicure with chrome and asked if he could do that instead. He said yes I can do it. He proceeded to paint my nails then said I can't do that. You have to get someone else. Then told me he didn't want to do it because I let out a sigh (wtf) then I repeatedly asked why he indicated he could do it if he couldn't. The lady next to him then said he can't do it you have to choose something else. After sitting here for almost 2.5 hours I wasn't going to chance it again. If he can't do a French manicure with chrome then why am I even bothering asking him to do anything. Now I have to find someone else to redo the gel and it's gonna cost $25! All because he lied. Yes they can do nails well but Their customer service is very bad. This was the first time I didn't tip but there was no way I was going to tip when I now have to pay to get my nails redone because he lied and could not do the job. So I will just say this. Try this place at your own risk. They don't care if you have an appointment. They will lie and say they can do the work and still make you pay when they can't. Personally I'm moving on.
