I'm now a regular at this location and they never fail to warmly welcome me every time! I got a full set and was a bit unsure in the reference photo I showed to my nail technician, as I felt something about my design I chose was too plain. Thankfully though, Andy provided great input-- he suggested I alternate the colors and add rhinestones to each finger to really bring out my design, needless to say, I am in LOVE with it! I really liked that he was thorough with the drills, and didn't leave me with a burn and cut unlike another nail shop I've visited in the past. I just needed a manicure, but the technician got a little too happy clipping around my nails. A couple of days later the skin around my nails started peeling badly. I went to Vivian Nails 1/14/2023. If you go do not let Anne ( if that her real name) touch your nails. When I got their I showed her the design I wanted her to do. I asked her 3 TIMES if she could do it and she said yes. In the middle of doing my nails she said she couldn't do it because it requires Dip ombré and she didn't know how to do that nor does she know how to do dip powder. Why didn't you say this when I first asked you. So they tried to fix it and this is what I got, chip nails less then 24 hrs from doing them. First time at the salon. Appearance: could use an up to date on equipment. Customer service is friendly but the techs don't speak to you. As far as how well the job is done, they need to take classes on how to do shapes on nails. I asked for coffin nails and I have no idea what I got. Some of my nails are regular square, some are cut only on side and not the other. I didn't even bother to get them redone because I had a busy day ahead of me and did not plan on sitting in a nail salon for 3 hours long. They don't know the difference between gel and regular nail polish. My recommendation: don't come here. I wouldn't return ever again. Just don't come here. My naturals nails are so damaged, and I watched her do it with the drill. I spoke up, so she stopped as much, but this was all because she didn't care to take her time and soak and scrape off, so she drilled and left me in a bowl for about 50 min so give a walk in who came in way later a full pedicure. Someone else finished and I kept having to ask to soak instead, or use a less harsh drill. My nails were visibly drilled too low and were in pain. Are these not professionals? Quality or quantity. Take your time with the customers. Don't leave her with nails worse than how they came in. My nails still hurt a week later and look like I have craters in them. read more

Ok, let's go with three and a half stars... I popped in on my way home from work, having passed this place daily for several months- ISO a gel manicure. They were not busy (one of the nail techs was actually asleep in a pedi chair at the time) and I was taken to a station right away. Experience: Having previous gel polish on my fingertips meant that I'd need to soak my nails in acetone and have the tech work away at it for a bit. Normally, not a painful experience or one that would damage your nails. I was disappointed that the tech placed the acetone in a bowl of scalding hot water and when I withdrew my fingertips repeatedly asking for cooler water, she questioned me (this is where the docking of stars occured). Finally I refused to put my fingers near the bowl until she changed the water temp (which she did). Final Result: Lots of polish choices and the nude color I went with this time (so the grow out wouldn't be as noticeable as my last choice of dark brown) looked great when done. It's been a week and still in top shape. Cost: The price for a gel manicure was $33, on target with what I've paid elsewhere. Bottom line: Will probably return and give another service/nail tech a try. read more

My nails look terrible . The nail techs here don't know how to shape and when I told them my nails looked bad they tried to blame it on my nails being crooked . However , I came in with perfectly filed nails from my last manicure and all the lady had to do was follow that shape . I paid way too much to sit in a chair for 2 hours to get a mediocre job. I really love this place, they are quick to help you and it's never super-busy. The best pedicures I've ever gotten are from here, and they have great eyebrow waxing too. The only problem I have with them is that their eyebrow waxing service puts baby oil on to soothe your skin, but I only don't like that because it doesn't soothe it at all, and it clogs my pores. One thing that I love about them is that they acknowledge their customers as soon as they (customers) walk in. Even if they are with a customer they pardon themselves to find out what the potential new customer needs. Awful. It's not Vivians' anymore - it's a new operation called Tim and Cindy's. I had possibly the worse pedicure I've ever had - she didn't even do a foot massage or put lotion on my feet - just put oil on my calves like she was buttering bread. I was left sitting in cold water, too, while she very slowly took care of towels and cleaning from another customer. I don't mind waiting - that's normal, not getting your appointment right on time - but no apologies or anything. Overpriced now (raised prices from when it was Vivian's). I just loved the ladies who did mine and my husband's nails for many years when it was Vivians. New staff talking to each other instead of doing their work. One of our old Vivians favorites was leaving (with 4 bags of stuff) when we were there, so clearly the new mgt doesn't get along with the great, friendly former staff. We will now never go back - I only hope I can follow the women who were there before to their new places. What a shame. This review is particularly for V, one of the nail technicians there. I have been going to this nail salon for 5 years only for her. Nobody ever touches my nails but V ( not Vivian, Just V). Not only she is great with what she does, she is very professional. She usually keeps chitchatting with her co-workers in their language at extremely minimal. If you're going for a facial I do not recommend Thu Dam. I found it to be unprofessional and the esthetician Thu Dam is clearly not trained in this field. I think on an off day. The prices are little higher that other places I think do a better job. To start off, the pedicure probably lasted for 10 minutes, He did not massage my feet, just put the lotion and that's it. He did not do my eyebrows very well, I had to go home and take some left over hair. I payed 70 dollars and stayed there for probably 45 minutes. If you want a quickie fix, this is the place. Thought I'd be in and out for a quick pedi. My appointment was at 2:15. I was told to wait "a little bit" for a chair to open when I got there on time. I was finally helped at 3:15pm. They had me sit in a chair to soak my feet for another 25 minutes. The whole time I was very patient just to see how they would treat me. No one came to check on me, the water my feet was soaking in became cold. So around 3:56pm a lady came sat in front of me and didn't say anything, not even sorry. Honestly I'm not someone to complain so this really took all my patience. I would have been perfectly fine if they told me to come back at a time convenient for them.
