Cake completely crumbled upon slicing (so embarrassing as a baby shower host )
    Courtney M.

*UPDATE* Management has corresponded with me via email and addressed all of my concerns. *WARNING* I've been coming here for YEARS and never had an issue until this weekend. I stop by and grab festive treats from their case at least 2-3 times a month. However, I'm SO disappointed in their lack of communication and poor execution of my order this weekend. I ordered a brown cake for a baby shower and it was nearly orange. Also, the lettering on the cake was misspelled. All they did was instruct me to "scrape it off" and issue a $5 refund. I've sent multiple emails, they responded once and are now just ignoring me. They claim to have been calling and emailing me the week prior to the event with questions about my order, however I have no voicemails or missed calls. They actually emailed me less than 24 hours before the event telling me the inspo picture I provided them was "blurry," however, it wasn't "blurry" when I initially sent it and asked for a quote. Funny how that works. Also, the cake couldn't even be cut. It just crumbled and made it very hard to serve. I'd never recommend trusting them for custom pre-ordered cakes for your special occasion. They don't care to respond to my email but can post advertisements on Facebook. In the future, I'd recommend other local bakeries like Pignoli or Case Bakes as their customer service is excellent.

"A $5 gift card is more than generous to compensate you.."- the pathetic owner Placed an order for $60 "Labubu" cookies, based on a FB post they made promoting them. Instead, what arrived looked like some laFUFU backwood creatures- like they'd been baked in a hurry by someone who'd never used an oven before. We placed this order expedited and confirmed with the bakery that this was something they could handle and were left burned in the end. As if the design was bad enough the actual cookies were dry and crumbly, with a sad sugar of an icing. The flavors were flat, almost stale, as if the ingredients weren't fresh. The owner had no remorse at all and said $2 would have sufficed for "leaving off their noses" and threw in my face that we ordered them last minute despite them agreeing to deliver accordingly. Below you'll find our sad little $60 cookies as well as what they sold on their facebook. We asked for that same design minus the school pencils ect, Do not support this business if you expect quality service and product.

I dropped in last week because I was in the area. The store was clean, the employees were friendly, and the service was prompt. The cupcakes themselves were underwhelming for their price. I got a Love Story (almond cake filled with raspberry compote and topped with vanilla buttercream) and a Central Perk (brown sugar Kahlua cake with coffee buttercream and drizzled with salted caramel). The Love Story: The cake was okay but a little bland and dry. The raspberry filling was my favorite part; I would have liked more of it. My main problem was with the grainy frosting. I wouldn't buy this cupcake again. The Central Perk: The cake had a great flavor! The frosting was a touch grainy, but I didn't notice as much because it tasted so good, rich and bittersweet. If you like a caramel macchiato, this is the cupcake for you. The cupcakes were smaller than expected for $3.75 each ($4.06 after tax). It's not a good value. I wouldn't go out of my way for these cupcakes, but I might stop in again when I'm in the area.

Best cookies we have ever had! They made my sister-in-laws birthday cookies, not one bad thing about them. The designs were spot on and the flavor was absolutely delicious. Pricing may seem like a lot to some but once you taste it you know it was made with love. Worth it! And the service was fantastic! Super nice.

This shop is so amazing! Everything I've ever had there is phenomenal! It's a cute shop and really close to home so that makes it even better! I've had a raspberry almond cupcake and a strawberry shortcake and the strawberry shortcake was hands down one of the best cupcakes I've ever had. I highly recommend this place and need to go more often! Haha

    Delicious cupcakes!

Rise Cupcakes is my favorite bakery in Friendswood!! My absolute favorite is the Blueberry Delight cupcake! And let's not forget the cinnamon rolls... wow! Soft, gooey, and utterly divine. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality and quantity you receive.

This place has the cutest cupcakes with brilliant ideas for flavors. I recently got the lavender lemon , apple a la mode and strawberry rhubarb cupcake. The flavor was very potent in the lavender cupcake . The strawberry was by far my favorite. It had just enough sweetness and filling. The texture was a bit dry for all of the cupcakes but they had much potential because the flavors were so delicious. I did go during covid so it's possible that they were just older batches. The representative assisting me was super helpful and kind. She thoroughly explained the wide selection and recommended the peach cobbler and apple a la mode cupcake. The apple cupcake was definitely similar to apple pie and ice cream despite the texture. I would prefer sprinkles or crave for based solely on the consistency of the cupcake. I would come back though to try their exclusive Mangonada flavor. Something cool about this shop is that they have seasonal and monthly cupcakes; so you do get a great variety. I absolutely loved the decor! It reminded me of a contemporary candy shop .

    Horrible cupcake! Tasted like bricks

Wow! Seldom do I leave one star reviews but if I could, I'd leave zero stars. I'm not a big dessert eater but I love a good cupcake. I don't like dry or hard cake, so I wanted to ask the young lady which one she recommends would be soft. She ignored me and then when she answered my questions she rolled her eyes. I ordered a vanilla cupcake and chocolate cupcake. Both were terrible, just really hard and dry. They were so dry I almost thought they were old. The frosting was bad too. It was so sugary and the sugar was overkill and turned you off from eating it. The worst part was how rude the young lady was (see photo) she was so condescending and seems like she hates her job. Doesn't matter because I wouldn't come back if you paid me.

Amazing cupcakes. I stop here too often and try to blame it on my kids. ;-). And, the cookies are just as good as the cupcakes.

5 stars for coffee and service, 3.5 stars for bakery. This was my first visit to Cherry Moon…read more It's a cute little coffee shop, loved the pink and cream decor and the overall vibe. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond explaining the drinks to me and how they tasted so I could make a good choice. I was stuck between a cookie butter latte and a coconut latte. While I don't usually love overly sweet drinks, I am a cookie butter latte lover. However, since I was getting some bakery items, I decided to go with the less sweet option, so I chose the coconut. It was delicious! The cold foam was so fluffy, almost like whipped cream. The addition of toasted coconut flakes made it the perfect drink. I got the cookie butter cheesecake, Earl Grey tiramisu, and the Matilda (chocolate cake). The Matilda cake was not good, neither my husband or I liked it, and I have never thrown out chocolate cake. It was very dry and had an odd taste (try the Matilda cake at Cactus Jack's! omg), which was very disappointing (and it wasn't cheap!). The Earl Grey tiramisu was much better; it had a nice flavor with a beautiful purple color. I loved the flavor of the cookie butter cheesecake; however I didn't taste any cheesecake flavor, and the texture wasn't cheesecake-like at all, it was more like a cookie butter pudding; but it was my favorite dessert of all and despite the misnomer, I did love it! I would definitely order the cookie butter "cheesecake" again, 5 stars for that for devine flavor! Overall I loved Cherry Moon's coffee and I look forward to going back and trying the cookie butter latte.

The little toasted coconut flakes are such a good addition to the drink too as they add an extra toasty flavor and umph to an otherwise already yummy drink. My friend liked the coconut matcha so much that she basically chugged it. They also offer a wide selection of pastries and baked goods, which all looked amazing. The decor of the cafe was also so cutesy and girly- perfect for catch ups with friends and possibly taking new pics for the socials! I also saw a couple people working/studying. Staff was really sweet and our matchas were ready so quickly but still tasted good. Cherry Moon also has a drive thru! If I lived on this side of town, I'd probably pass by the drive thru for the coconut matcha every morning..
