Love this place!!! What a beautiful ambiance. The moment you walk in, you immediately feel such a wonderful vibe. The staff is so warm and welcoming. Their food is amazing too. It can be a little spicy, but I asked them, and they happily replaced my paneer curry with a milder version. The drinks were great, and the dessert was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend this place for Indian food!
Had this restaurant on my list to try out ending up going got a reservation at 10pm when we got there it was super empty only could sit on one side of restaurant they rushed us to sit down right away ...they told us we need to order fast because they close at 11pm very weird I If I went to book a reservation last one was at 11pm...overrall service was okay the food was good and the drinks were great...layout of place looked super nice
Fantastic spot in Wynwood. The atmosphere is beautiful, the service is excellent, and the food is absolutely spectacular. I highly recommend their Pisco Sour cocktails -- the restaurant also has locations in Chile and they really know how to make great pisco sour drinks. Full recommendation for the Butter Chicken and the Tikka Shrimp. Both dishes were outstanding.
Beautiful space. You get a bindi upon seating which is a cute touch. At the end of the meal, I used the bathroom and that's when they brought out the dish to wash your hands so it was a bit disappointing they didn't wait for everyone at the table to have that done. Was super empty on a Saturday at 9 PM. Pricing is a bit expensive since the dishes don't come with rice and that would be extra. But not insanely high. Mango lassi was a nice thick smoothie. Samosas delicious. Butter chicken and first lamb dish on menu also very good, chicken was better than the lamb. I'd go with medium spicy. The plain naan was nice and buttery. Also tried the one with onion that wasn't bad but the plain was better. Fries had a yummy seasoning. Parking is a nightmare bc all street parking is taken and all the lots are min $30. So honestly would not go back just bc of the parking. But food was good and it was a cool experience.
Before walking in you start to smell the spices and your mouth starts to salivate. Even the decor outside of the restaurant is picture worthy. We were greeted by the hostess at the door who was dressed in a traditional saree. Once seated she brought us waters and a Bindi for my mom and me. It took some time before our server came to take our order but in the meantime we had a mini photoshoot on the stairs. This place is beautiful. Of course we ordered tika masala , spicy naan, and curry lamb all of this was good. But the best was the masala fries I truly enjoyed those. The drinks were ok and we went for a birthday celebration and they came and sang happy birthday to my mom and brought out a birthday dessert. And before that they come to the table and wash your hands. Really enjoyed the little touches can't wait to go back.
Beautiful restaurant and delicious food. We were met by our sever Stanley who had so great recommendations on our spice tolerances which were accurate. My Mango Lassi was delicious and every variant of Naan was fantastic that we've tried so far.
I appreciated and adored the bright, colourful and cheerful Rishtedar Indian restaurant in Wynwood. They now offer an executive lunch at very reasonable prices. They adorned me with a bindi upon entry - which i thought was a nice touch. After I had finished my meal, they offered a hand washing ritual with a water pitcher. I found the food to be very authentic and will definitely visit again. A bindi, is a traditional Hindu symbol with multiple layers of meaning, including spiritual significance, marital status, and cultural identity. It's often associated with the "third eye" and represents wisdom, intuition, and spiritual awakening.
From the moment you walk in, this restaurant makes you feel welcome. The service is truly exceptional--attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. You can tell the team takes pride in what they do. The food is outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, clearly made with high-quality ingredients and great attention to detail. Each bite reflected consistency, care, and culinary excellence. The ambience ties everything together perfectly--elegant, comfortable, and inviting. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy a relaxed evening, celebrate a special occasion, or simply unwind with great food and company. Overall, this restaurant delivers on service, food, and atmosphere at the highest level. Highly recommended, and definitely a place I'll be returning to again and again.
Ate here for a nice dinner for 2. I enjoyed it, certainly a good place for a date night or even for a nice get together with friends. Food was good, authentic for sure. Portions were on the smaller side in my opinion. Especially as most main dishes are $25+.. I'd also say, even though we went on a Saturday night, which is a busier day, I'd say MOST tables were full, but it took a BIT to get our food. & the table next to us also mentioned the same amongst themselves. Not sure if that's the norm.. It's worth the try forsure
Rishtedar was just... okay. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has plenty of seating space. Service was super slow eventhough the restaurant was not full. Comparing rishtedar to other Indian restaurants I would say that it needs work in the kitchen department. I actually like spicy and well seasoned dishes and here food lacked both. We had appetizers and mains, and throughout our dinner it was the same. Nothing memorable.
Amazing Indian cuisine, beautiful art filled ambiance, and friendly staff. Rishtedar has to be one of my favorite restaurants in Wynwood. The quality of food and service is the best. The lamb dishes and butter chicken are my go to items on the menu. The garlic Naan is delicious! And the desserts are a palate pleaser. If you haven't been to Rishtedar, you have to make an effort. it's worth the experience. The food is authentic. You will be very satisfied.
Food is still ok. Shams is amazing in service. Must try once. Amazing service. Nice ambiance. Must for Indian food lovers. If you are Indians let them know you want spicy chicken. Usually chicken is not that great but lamb chops are great. So must try and try to get shams.
The ambience was good the service was super fast. The food was a amazing but I feel like it's not anything that you can't get at a normal priced Indian restaurant. And the portions are very small like kids meal. For almost 30 dollars. It was a nice experience but wouldn't go again.

Beautiful Indian spot in midtown Wynwood. I can't get over the decor, it was so elaborate. I had the samosas and the tandoori kulcha as appetizers. The samosas were light and crispy with some delicious dipping sauces. The tandoori kulcha was way lighter and tastier than I expected. For the main course I ordered the Jheenga Masaledar which had such flavorful sauce I hardly tasted the shrimp and I really enjoyed that. The service was quick and efficient and the waiter was quite knowledgeable of the menu. I would definitely return the next time I'm in town. read more

The waiter was very, very nice, professional, and very polite with us. When I asked him if the daiquiri could be a little bit sweet, it was able to perform my request which I was very happy about. My friends and I did enjoy the food quite well in terms of the actual taste. One thing to note though is that I believe that the price does not match the quantity however of the food. That daiquiri was $15 also that octopus Maalaala was $32. So if you're gonna come and masala here then I hope you eat a really big salad beforehand because the portions are very, very small considering the high price. read more

Really the prettiest restaurant in Wynwood! You have to walk upstairs to see that area too; it's stunning. They have one of the biggest menus I've seen at an Indian restaurant. Of course, there are plenty of vegetarian options. I recommend the eggplant appetizer and the paneer tikka masala, but it's all delicious. read more

Honestly - best Indian food I have had in Miami. Everything delicious, made fresh daily. Fragrant with Indian spices. Full vegetarian menu, many chicken, lamb and seafood dishes. They have liquor and various signature drinks, beer and wine. (I recommend dry white wine with Indian dishes). We didn't have dessert so can't comment on that, but we've been there twice and both times I was blown away. Service is very courteous and attentive and prices are very reasonable (most entrees in low $20 range, some seafood a little more) . So go, indulge and enjoy Rishtedar! read more

I was initially apprehensive about coming here after reading the many mixed reviews. I'm so happy to say pretty much everything we had was great. We started with Goa Chilli Bengan the shrimp appetizer dish, this was everyone's least favorite dish. The shrimp was heavily breaded and the breading was really salty. For entrees we had tandoori scallops, Balti Gosht (lamb in stew), tandoori lamb kabob, and a curry fish dish. All were really good except for the fish to me. It was way to fishy for me and most of the table. The garlic naan was great. We were nervous because the reviews said portions were very small, I thought they were fine. They don't have liquor so all drinks are made with a wine based alcohol. The ambience is beautiful. The server started off great but then he seemed a little distracted towards the end even though the restaurant was emptier than when we arrived. I would definitely go back. read more

Finally, a great Indian spot in Wynwood. Service here goes above and beyond, they didn't miss a beat. Atmosphere and decor are all on point. As for the food.... My standard in south Florida is Bombay Darbar and Rishtedar is right up there. I live in Mimo so this saves me the drive to coconut grove. Instead of being stuck in traffic, I'm home resting before my concert tonight. If you love great Indian food, definitely give this place a try, make sure to make reservations for busy nights. Looking at some of the low star reviews, people need calm down. I went on a Saturday night around 6pm and service went off without a hitch, food came out quickly, and at first I was eyeballing the portions but I quickly realized, it was perfect. I left plenty full but not hating myself, I'm a big boy and I can eat. GF had some leftovers which I'm sure I'll eat at 2am lol. Prices are comprable to every other Indian restaurant in SFL. Maybe the earlier reviews were from when they first opened but I had an excellent experience and I'll be coming back again and again. read more

Extremely traditional Indian food. Super flavorful and yummy, but be careful with the spice. We order a mild veggie dish and it was the spiciest one. I would definitely recommend any lamb dish since it was soooo tender and creamy. Plus you can't go wrong with butter chicken, so definitely order this one. The service was good, the waiter was able to help us decide our meals. Once the meal ends they have a traditional hand cleanse they do to remove any scents lingering on your fingers from the naan. The decor in this place is absolutely wonderful and feels like you are in a different place. I would hope for a dinner and a show but they don't have this available. But the decor is breathtaking and must go for special occasions. read more
Absolutely amazing. We were a group of five with a dog and we weren't sure if the outdoor seating was open since no one was there. They were immediately accommodating and brought menus out and checked up on us regularly. The food was so delicious. One person in our group is a picky eater and all he did was rave about how good it was as he ate. For the price I thought the servings could be larger but this is Miami so it was to be expected. What a beautiful little jewel box of a restaurant. The food was so delicious... For Sunday lunch after church we shared the Pacora Mix appetizer. Ordered the Chicken Korma and the Lamb dish served in a small copper bucket with 1-4 spicy option. With 2 spice I needed to order the yogurt to cool my palette ; ) They serve the meals in beautiful hammered copperware with stainless inserts that keep the food hot. All was very delicious although everything was Ala Cart which adds up Garlic Naan and Basmati rice. Dessert - we shared a Mango Kulfi, a small square of homemade ice cream that was sublime. $111.00 Lunch for 2 Included a refreshing Mojito Mocktail Love this place read more

I was so impressed at the decor as I entered through the gold doors. The restaurant is so unique and has a lot of Indian influence. The ambiance was perfect for a date night or night out with friends. The drinks to start were amazing. I enjoyed the Mojito. It was fresh and boozy. For the appetizer we had the samosas, which were crispy and very tasty. For the entree I had a coconut curry shrimp with garlic naan which you order separately. The coconut curry was a creamy dream and the shrimp were nice and plump. The naan just complimented the meal and I was able to grab all the sauce. You are able to control the spice by selecting the spice level. After the entree, our waitress came by and washed our hands with warm rose water. It was such a moment. The staff were so pleasant and a accommodating. The service was 10 out of 10. This is definitely a must try. read more

An upscale place in the heart of Wynwood on 24th. The interior is very beautifully decorated, and they offer a tableside hand washing between courses, making for a classy experience. To start we had the pakora mix and samosa, both of which were very light, almost as if they had been air fried. For mains, we had the malai kofta, mattar paneer, and the achari bengan, all of which were excellent at a medium spice level. The assorted desserts are a must have, since they have a variety that are all worth trying. We were the only party in on a Sunday afternoon, so our service was pretty quick. As far as standard Indian dishes go, this place does it well. read more

Upon arrival the place is stunning and makes you excited to be there for the ambiance. Unfortunately, the decor is the only main highlight of this place. The menu and the servers fail to communicate essential info such as the fact that Basmati rice is NOT included with your choice of entrees. That'll be an additional $4 for a small bowl of rice even though you just paid over $20 for a bowl of protein. The food did taste good but it definitely all had a kick. I've had Indian food before but when I ask for a very low mild, I expect it to be mild. All of our meals were pretty spicy. The cost was definitely pricey. One order of Lamb Bhuna (again with no rice) was $23, a cheese Nan was $7 (for 2 pieces per person), and even a can of soda was $6 each. When we asked to split the check based on what we ordered she couldn't even do that. They batched together similar orders into groups and she couldn't separate them so we had to literally split the total in half or tell her how much each bill would pay. Oh yeah and they automatically add a 20% gratuity despite there only being 4 people for our table. Sorry the service wasn't that great to deserve 20%. They were not attentive to us. They didn't give us 4 menus only 2 and we had to share, took almost an hour to get our food served, never refilled our water glasses, and they cleared our table from food but took forever to give us our bill. Again, for the cost and lack of great service I wouldn't go back or recommend this to other people. Especially for the hassle of having to find parking in Wynwood? Sorry this isn't worth it. I've had amazing food, service, and better bang for your buck at places like Taste of India in Coral Gables. read more

Lives up to the hype of Best Indian in Miami! Food is very flavourful, tasty, and authentic Indian. Beautiful decor inside, and music is Indian music which is good however I wish the playlist was updated and not the cliche Indian music you hear every time. Service was good, they let you order and aren't coming by every couple minutes, they let you chill. read more

LOVE this place. Does not fail, every time consistently delicious food. Their appetizers, JOHAR (mushrooms), JHEENGA (shrimp). Main course I'm a creator of habit love the Butter Chicken and their cheesy naan is bomb. Definitely must try for their food. And on certain nights you even get entertainment as part of the dinner. This place deserves 5 star for the ambiance and Indian hospitality. The ambiance inside feels like you are in a luxury dining place in India. All the staff is dressed up in traditional Indian. Their presentation is really good. We ordered tandoori chicken and the presentation was really good we got the chicken on skewers and placed in a small charcoal grill. Taste perspective the chicken is juicy and tender perfectly cooked. We also ordered hariyali kebab and they came in the same small charcoal grill. We ordered main course as naans and balti ghost, the lamb in the curry was very hard and did not absorb any of the flavors from the curry. Otherwise the curry was decent from taste perspective. Service was really fast we were offered to wash our hands in a bowl at the end of the meal. read more
Tried their butter chicken this evening along with the Lasun Naan (Garlic Naan). We chose Spice Level 3, which was a perfect Medium/Hot. The sauce was so delicious and creamy, we mopped it all up with the Naan. It tasted very authentic with lots of spices, and in my opinion is the best butter chicken in Miami. Tip: The butter chicken did not come with the rice that was in the photo, so be sure to order some on the side. read more

The moment we were greeted we felt welcomed and the decor made you feel like you were visiting India. Everything was beautiful. The hostess gave me a Bindi to wear while having dinner to align my chakras and open up the third eye... very traditional! We had for appetizer JOHAR E MOTIA delicious mushrooms and for dinner chicken dishes MURGH RESHMI and KABAB MURGH MADRAS along with homemade NAAN BREAD and pistachio and almond ice cream for dessert called KULFI. Everything was so yummy and full of flavor. So glad we picked this place for our date night . So close to home yet made you feel like you were on vacation in India thank you to the staff and of course compliments to the chef! read more

New Indian restaurant in Wynwood and I'm always in search of good Indian food in Miami. The ambiance is nice and it has an Indian feel to it. The servers are dressed in Indian attire. Like other reviews have mentioned, they do not know the menu well and service was off. Started off with mango lassi which was the worst mango lassi I've had and I didn't finish it. It was very yogurty and did not have any mango flavor and it was very thick which is sad considering the restaurant is in Miami and they can easily get fresh mango or do what other Indian restaurants to and use the tin mango pulp. The chilli eggplant was the best off the menu and it was my first time having it, it had the perfect crisp and flavor. I do wish they had other options such as chilli paneer and cauliflower. They didn't have butter paneer on the menu but the chef was able to accommodate and make it. I ordered medium and it was a higher level of medium spicy so beware if you can't handle spice. Ordered garlic naan and it was forgotten and took awhile for it to come. Dishes are smaller than other places so prices are a little less as well. Downfall is rice doesn't come with the dish and there isn't complimentary papadum and chutney to start off with. Garlic naan was fine, normal. Check was easily paid with Apple Pay. Restaurant became packed. read more
