Brought my vehicle in for a cosmetic touch up. I found Ly (Lee) to be upfront on pricing, walking me through the quote, and easy to talk to and answer my questions. I visited other shops as best to always get several quotes. Rising star was not the cheapest but when providing body work cheap is not always best. I also like that they will outsource work they cannot do. Mine was adding the protective film on the door edge and handle area. I look for service, presentation, and communication. Giving 5 stars to Rising Star is an understatement! If I could give them more I would! Lee and his team are the best in the business. They stick by their word and they are all about their customers. They treat your vehicle like if it's their's and if they're not 100% satisfied with it they will make sure they are before returning it to their customer. They did such a good job with it last year that I had to return to them as a repeat customer when this last one happened. Rising star collision is one of the most professional body shops I have been to. Unfortunately some big debris had fallen onto my vehicle and damaged it on the freeway. I had taken it to a body shop and had gotten a reasonable rate but they did not give my vehicle the utmost attention and introduced so many new issues and would not fix anything. Over spray all over the car and mismatched panels with cheap yellowed paint (car is pearl white) we're some of the many issues. This is probably the best body shop I've ever been to. Lee was so transparent throughout the whole process of rebuilding my 2018 4Runner. He would send me progress photos and even during the initial interview gave me a tour of his shop walking me through the whole process. I had been meaning to have my car door and bumper fixed and was just about to go to a shop in Irvine that was recommended to me by a friend. But not wanting to drive the distance, I looked on Yelp and sent an estimate request to all the local shops. Lee was the first one to answer right away and had me bring my car in. A few years ago, my cousin had backed into my car door on the driver's side and had taken it to a Mickey Mouse shop to have it fixed. That shop did a cheap job and to my dismay, the paint (which also did not match very well) began to chip off. I had also opened my car door into a wall, leading to a cracked frame that had begun to rust. On top of that, I had an unknown gash on my bumper that had been unsightly to look at. Lee assured me he would fix my car right. He walked me through all the estimates and let me take a loaner vehicle. I dropped my car off on Monday, Lee sent me progress pictures via text each step of the way, and I picked my car up on Friday.
