Since it was the first time using HCS, I called the day before to confirm our reservation and pick-up time, and was assured the driver would be on-time. And then they stood us up! Fifteen minutes after our scheduled 6:00 a.m. pick-up time, no HCS car. I called to see where the driver was. The dispatcher was very polite, and assured me of a prompt callback. Ten minutes after that, I started loading our luggage into our car for the drive to the airport. Dispatcher finally called back and told me he couldn't reach the driver, offering the opinion the driver might have overslept. Luckily, it was a low-traffic-problem morning, and we made our flight, even with having to take the time to deal with parking and shuttles. I called back from the road, just to make sure HCS would cancel our scheduled pick-up when we came back. Dispatcher was very apologetic, and offered to comp the pick-up if we chose not to cancel. Kind of pointless, since we would have our own car waiting for us, but it was a nice gesture. Never did find out why they didn't show up as scheduled.

He also told us we caught him on a good day and that was why he was carrying our luggage out of the vehicle and off the curb. John was casually disrespectful by interrupting our private conversation as well only to discuss what was interesting to him, and even when we responded, he ignored us and continued talking in a manner than seemed only to amuse himself. A quiet and professional drive is what we had hoped for.
