It is extremely nerve racking when you have water damage in your home and don't know who to trust. I was recommended Risk Free Serv from someone else in an adjacent business, and scheduled an appointment with Mohamad after sending out an email. Unfortunately I had to reschedule, but Risk Free Serv had no issues with finding a time that worked for me. Mohamad viewed the water damage in the unit and later provided me with an estimate of how much repair would cost. At this point, I haven't had a plumber come out yet to see where the leak was coming from because we were waiting for our HOA to provide us with a plumber. Mohamad suspected that the leak was coming from the upstairs neighboor due to his assessment. He found high moisture readings in the wall tracing upwards. On May 13, 2023 my condo which I just purchased on May 1st flooded. I had absolutely no idea what to do, my homeowners insurance and HOA offices were both closed as it was a Saturday evening and I was left to scramble and figure out what to do while water was literally spraying out of my bathroom wall. I was able to reach an emergency plumber and was instructed to call a water remediation company immediately ( even before speaking to my insurance.) I came across Risk Free Serv and spoke to Omar. He explained to me what needed to be done immediately in the short term and then in great detail in the long term. He explained to me in detail the two routes I was facing with one option being paying out of pocket in the event there were any issues with insurance and option two which would be working with my insurance. It's very important to note that there are two different pricing models used by this company with both being advantageous to the customer and 100 percent transparent to your home owners insurance company. They use a software that all insurance companies use when generating quotes and this is helpful for your insurance adjuster since both parties are calculating damages off of this nationally used software. Mold is not covered by many policies and mine was no exception so all mold related repairs I had to pay for out of pocket but will say this company does everything they can to charge a fair price. I absolutely feel the pricing was transparent and honestly i felt that Omar( initial point of contact) and Mohammed ( project manager) run an hones business and strive to be the best at what they do. The video I have attached to this review shows my condo when what I did have in the unit was sealed in the living room and all water remediation ( wet drywall removed etc) was complete leaving my condo ready for construction to begin.
