When you first come in, there may be a crowd... just make your way inside to ask for a table, as most of the people waiting are ordering take-away. The food was amazing, and the prices can't be beat! In short, the food was so good (some of the best Italian we've ever had) that we chose to finish exploring Venice and come back here to eat a 2nd night. Over two days, we had - a various cold-cut misto appetizer plate - tagliatelle with duck sauce and porcini mushrooms (twice!) - spaghetti alla carbonara - a pizza Gambera (roasted eggplant, mushrooms, red/yellow bell peppers, artichoke) with "spicy salami" added (it was pepperoni, as we call it).
