First night in Venice, this restaurant was a recommendation from our hotel staff at the Sant' Angelo. What we ordered: *Hors D'Oeuvre: Scallops with "Antico Martini" sauce *Main course: -Homemade "tagliolini" with duck ragout and orange zest -Sliced beef Angus with rosemary- served with roasted potatoes and spinach Dessert: Apple tart with vanilla gelato and fresh whipped cream. From start to finish, the service was impeccable. The beef was perfectly tender and cooked exactly to my husband's preference. The homemade tagliolini with duck ragu was rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Bravo to the team at Antico Martini

Overall, it is a beautifully located restaurant with an extensive menu. This was a slightly overpriced place but the location makes up for it being in front of the theater. I ordered the grilled selection of fish and it was 58 (euro). For what you got, it was not worth it. It tasted good, but for the price, was overpriced. The sliced beef angus was really good! Very tender and flavorful. This one was priced decently. The tiramisu was good, it was your classic tiramisu flavor. The service was pretty good. Our server came by periodically and checked in. The ambiance provided that romantic feel with the lit corridor and old fashioned decorum.

So good we came back for our last dinner in Venice. Great service & great dirty vodka martinis. In a quiet location & the bread is the best we have had on our trip. Outdoor & indoor dining options.

Wonderful food. Lovely dining experience. Busy corner next to the Opera House, but very quiet dining. All of our dishes were fabulous! Very nice waiters and good service.

Came here before an opera. We started with the spritz, which I really enjoyed. App was risotto with shrimp and mushroom - beautifully created dish and even more delish. Their house bread was incredible - a danger to state the least, as their menu options were exquisite as well. Had the veal petals for my main. Super flavorful. My dining partner had the catch of the day, which they filleted at table-side. It came with fried zucchini strings which I loved as well. Dessert was of course, tiramisu. So rich, creamy, and delectable. Service was on point. Ambiance is comfortable yet refined. Highly recommend!

Made a reso here on whim before we arrived to Venice. We wanted one fancy night out to celebrate my husbands birthday. It was pricy but we went there prepared for that. Our entrees were extremely good! Contrary to many of the older reviews, my husband had the filet with black truffle sauce on it and it was delicious! The servers were also very nice and gave us complimentary Lemonchello shots with dessert. I would recommend this restaurant to others for sure!

Antico Martini is one of those very classic Venetian restaurants that my mother use to bring me when I was a kid! Service is still very good ao as the kitchen. U can have everything very good with no surpriaes but no chalenges! Its in a friendly piazza and u can eat outside!

Black Truffle pasta and Branzino with tomato and olives....5 Stars!

Nothing special... Food is really pricey and not that great... The other 5 star restaurants here on yelp are a lot better.

Just stop for a drink. The terrace is nice with a beautiful inner garden. Price according to Venice.

Lots and lots of restaurants to choose from in Venice but this unassuming restaurant is a true gem…read more It's easy to miss as it's tucked in a corner right by a bridge. Once inside they have a couple tables with small window views of any gondolas passing by. We started off with a plate of lightly fried sardines topped with pickled white onions. The fry on the fish was super light and those vinegar-y onions were the perfect pairing. We cleaned that plate. The lasagna was well balanced with the meat, sauce, cheese. The squid ink pasta was chewy/al dente with a subtle touch of seafood flavors giving the cuttlefish. It was very umami but nothing too overbearing. Delicious! It's a Family business that was been around for many years. Grazie to the friendly staff and chef!

I am so sad to give this restaurant such a poor rating after visiting many times during the last 20…read moreyears and loving it before. The jovial mood with the waiters with big personalities is gone. The menu you can find online is no longer available so you get a very limited menu to choose from--nearly entirely seafood. So if you have anyone in your party that just wants pasta with a red meat sauce or a non seafood lasagne, not available. We were a party of 8. Two people ordered the scallop appetizers. Pretty presentation on shells. 3 tiny scallops in the shells. More like an amuse bouche. Totally disappointing. The linguine with clams as an entree had clams so small you almost needed a magnifying glass to see them. Couldn't taste the clams and annoying to try to eat something so tiny , and just try to eat the pasta with all those tiny shells. The baby shrimp on polenta was actually good. But again the shrimp were like tiny hatchlings tempura battered. Tasted okay except for those that were soggy from the polenta that was very soupy. I wanted the gnocchi with crab which was on the very limited menu but no longer available. The alternative was gnocchi with a sea bass sauce which I chose but didn't like at all. The gnocchi were good but the sauce wasn't at all for me. We had to continue to ask for side dishes for the bread, butter, olive oil, salt and pepper. We will not return. Poor value for your money. Plus there is a cover charge and service included in your bill which was a surprise. Very sad to see our favorite Venetian restaurant decline so much.
