The service however, has been a miss all three times we've been in. The location is large so maybe they just need to add to their team and do a little additional customer care training with everyone. We came in Saturday afternoon to a small lobby area where a gal was already waiting to be sat and when the third group walked in that lobby got even smaller. We waited for about 5 minutes for the hostess who came off cold and unbothered in leaving customers waiting as the other team members took notice of the filling lobby with no one checking in to let us know we'd be assisted soon. The hostess proceeded to tell us she'd be seating us outside, no offer of sitting inside at all and not once did she acknowledge her absence or offer any sort of greeting, not even a smile. When you're the first person the customer interacts with at business I feel it good practice to create a welcoming atmosphere that represents the space you're entering. Especially a place like this that is known for a fun, lively atmosphere. We were sat outside and our waitress was very sweet and got us taken care of with water, food, and drinks pretty quickly. It was a lot cooler than expected on the patio which was awesome, as I was worried about sitting outside when it was 104. Great job with that Mexicano! But once we got our food our waitress stopped by to check in once and we didn't really see her until the end of our meal after that. No refills on water or check-in to see if we wanted additional drinks (which I feel like happened the last time we were in as well). There's a gentleman with a tiger tattoo on the back of his neck who stops in at some people's tables to check in and have chat, he's never stopped in with us.. it all just seems like the customer isn't a priority at this restaurant. The food is delicious, the drinks are great but for the prices, I want to feel more valued. I want to have that fun experience of going out for drinks in a vibrant high-end cantina where you feel connected with the staff. We'll go back but I would really love to see a more engaged customer support team.

The nachos ended up being the star of the night. They were loaded, flavorful, and very satisfying. There was plenty of food and they were more than enough for both of us to share. My husband ordered the burrito and finished it pretty quickly because it was on the smaller side. After that we both ended up just sharing the nachos and we were completely full. Since this was a delivery order I cannot speak to the dine in atmosphere or service, but the food was packaged really well and everything arrived intact and still fresh. Nothing was soggy and the portions held up well for delivery, which I always appreciate. The nachos were definitely the highlight and something I would absolutely order again. Next time I would actually love to stop in during the day and try it in person so we can explore more of the menu.

The red sauce tasted like tomato sauce. I'm used to red sauce being pepper based. The spicier and more roasted the better. No pepper discernible. The green sauce tasted like it had a hint of green Chiles but mostly tomatillo. Also boring but better than the red. Neither was good. I ate it, I was hungry and it wasn't greasy, but... this was a midwestern spice-hating simulacrum of an enchilada. No bueno, demasiada aburrida. So to sum it up; decent but slightly loud facility, wonderful server, and I would say forgettable food but the reality is it was unforgettably boring.

When we told the server about it, there was no apology - he actually said that is how they make it?!?!? Let me get this straight, you put choking hazard sized bones in your tacos and don't tell anyone to watch out for them? I've included pics and video so you can see what I am talking about. Tacos are my favorite food on the planet and I've had birria tacos at many, many places (including Mexico) and have never encountered multiple bones in any kind of taco for that matter. Unfortunately their carnitas tacos are dry and flavorless. The Super Taco is still pretty good (no bones), but this and our recent experiences here are making us cross this place off of our rotation going forward. Pretty efficient service as there was constant traffic. They offer 10 street tacos for $12.50 with choice of ground beef, chicken, shredded beef, carnitas or carne asada on Tuesday's. We ordered 10 carne asada tacos to share. They offer a nice self serve topping bar that includes a generous selection, three sauces, pickled red onions, cabbage, lettuce, limes. Freshly made corn tortillas give the tacos a home made flavor. Although the tacos are small, sharing 10 provided a satisfying meal for us. They have table inside and on the patio. We opted for the patio as it was nice weather. Mexican music played in the background was pleasant and set a relaxing mood on the patio. Highly recommended!
