What in the actual....... The carne asada was not what some of the other reviews described...... it was dry and had a burnt taste to it. The mole enchiladas- ok sauce was like 10/10 it tasted so good, BUT BUT BUT it was cold AF. My meal was not even lukewarm. (And I even saw this as a complaint in other reviews) I would have rather waited an extra 15 mins to get my food than to eat something that was the same temperature as something that came out of the fridge. I honestly (never worked in the food service industry) cannot even understand how a meal that was just prepped could be so cold? Do I even want to know? I thought the review that mentioned Taco Bell was extremely rude, but they might be right just sayin........... so expensive and probably one of the worst meals I have had out. All I had here is regrets.

A little bit sour but it still good !

We keep coming back here for a reason. If you are in the East Valley and want a place with a serious tequila program, this is it. Kevin, the manager, runs this place exceptionally well. You can feel it in the consistency, the energy, and the overall experience. What really sets it apart is the tequila selection he curates. He brings in unique, high quality bottles you do not typically see, and it shows a level of care that tequila lovers will appreciate. The Mexico City elote is a must. Packed with flavor and always on point. The Rib Eye Aguachile is one of our go to orders, especially with the quesadillas it comes with. We always add bone marrow on the side and it completes the whole experience. The ribeye was a little overcooked this time, but still good and not a deal breaker for us. Matthew took great care of us. Kind, attentive, and made everything feel easy. We came on a Wednesday and it was packed, so make a reservation. Parking is limited, so Ubering is the best move if you plan to enjoy the tequila. Great spot for a casual night out that still feels elevated.

First time eating here, and will definitely go back! We had a reservation for four of us and were promptly seated by a friendly host! Our server Jazmine was excellent, not over bearing and always checked in at the right time. All the individuals running food and drinks were also great and friendly! The cocktails had fun presentations and the taste was on point. All the food we ordered was perfectly executed! The Short Rib Platter with Bone Marrow was melt in your mouth. We ordered it to share between two of us and had a lot left over as well. It made for excellent repurposed breakfast tacos. Inside is a beautiful atmosphere, just dark enough and lights on each table. It's a smaller space but did not feel overly close to the table next to you. If you're thinking of going here, you won't be disappointed - give it a try!

Beautiful restaurant even though it's a little dark.

I had had a very stressful week and was in desperate need of a good spicy margarita! Earlier in the week, one of my good good girlfriends passed away and I was devastated. Anyway, I decided to come back here because I remember that their spicy margaritas were off the chain! I'm happy to report that it did not disappoint! In fact, I had two of them and they were quite tasty. I sat at the bar and the service was outstanding. There were several bartenders behind the bar, and it seemed that each one made sure that I was taken care of! Nice touch! I felt seen and heard! Since I was there, I thought I would try the Infamous Quessabirria tacos entrée. OMG! It was fabulous! It comes with two dipping sauces and some charred beans. I thoroughly enjoyed them and so did my husband. I brought the leftovers home to him. The atmosphere of this place is outstanding. I was here on a Friday night at about 5 o'clock and the place was filling up rather quickly! It's dark inside but once you sit down, they bring a cute little lamp over to brighten up your space. All in all I highly recommend this place. It's a hidden gem in the Chandler downtown scene!

This place went above our expectations. We came here for a celebratory dinner, and our server, Ana asked us about that right away. She was very kind, and knowledgeable about the menu. Our steaks were unbelievable. We were actually planning on going to the Keg before realizing it hadn't opened yet. These steaks were better! They were seasoned to perfection, and cooked perfectly. Every dish had large portions, money well spent. Another thing I enjoyed was their silverware, all the pieces had very long handles and were comfortable to use. The restaurant had a romantic vibe, even during the blazing summer daytime. We're excited to go back and try more.

What a pretty restaurant inside. Our waitress was on top of things. We did go for a birthday brunch but they don't serve brunch yet. It said brunch but we ended up with lunch. It was very good the Guacamole Dip was delicious and a large portion. Between the three of us we had a torts, enchiladas and tacos, the Michelada was incredible and the Margarita was served in a pretty glass. The birthday dessert was fun and good. It's not cheap but a great place for a special occasion or a drink at the bar.

I've got mixed feelings. First, the good: parking was easy, service was super fast, and the inside is really nice. Lots of greenery, elevated lighting, and the whole space has this rainforest-meets-modern vibe that feels thoughtfully designed. The tables and layout definitely make it feel more upscale than your average casual spot. Now the downside... the food came out really fast, like 5-10 minutes after ordering, and honestly it tasted like it. I ordered enchiladas, but it felt more like three tacos with cheese sauce and heavy crema on top. Then instead of rice and beans, it came with what was basically enchilada toppings served as a side salad, which was a little confusing. Also, the ratio of staff to guests was wild. I was the only one there but somehow felt rushed the whole time, which took away from the experience. Overall, the space is beautiful, but the food and overall flow didn't really match the vibe for me. It's cute for the atmosphere, but I'd probably choose somewhere else next time. #fyp #chandlereats #azfoodie #foodreview #thingstodoinphoenix

Decided to try Miel de Agave for late lunch on a Sunday and walked in without a reservation. There were no tables available, although it did not seem too crowded--(No problem though, so friends and I sat at the bar.) We ordered a few apps and got the Sonoran tacos as my entree. Everything from the potato tacos-- to the aguachile was flavorful and delicious. I would describe this place as modern Mexican cuisine. Chic, jungle vibes with low lighting decor! Also service at the bar was friendly and prompt. I will be returning to try other items from the menu!

Green Chili Cream Enchiladas- SO GOOD!
    Jennifer G.

I really wanted to love this place because the food is phenomenal. I had the chicken green chili cream enchiladas, and they were absolutely delicious--easily 5-star quality. However, the rest of the experience was a letdown. We visited on a Saturday afternoon (3/28/26) and the service was frustratingly slow. There seemed to be only one server working the floor while multiple runners just stood around the bar area. The drinks are a total rip-off. I had the Paloma, very refreshing and tasty but could not taste the tequila. The worst part of that, we paid $17+ per cocktail, only to realize there was little to no alcohol in them. Pro-tip: Come for the food, but save your money and grab a drink at one of the many bars down the street in downtown Chandler instead. Or stick to wine & beer. If it weren't for the poor service and the watered-down drinks, this would be a 5 star review.

Miel de Agave in Chandler is such a vibe. From the moment you walk in, the energy is fun, lively, and welcoming! It was the kind of place where you can dress up a little, relax, and actually enjoy the experience. I ordered the 12 oz NY steak and WOW. Cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and honestly one of those meals you keep thinking about after you leave. The Parmesan truffle fries were the perfect side. They were so crispy, indulgent, and impossible not to share (but you won't want to). Paired everything with a Reserve Cab red wine, which was smooth and delicious and tied the whole meal together beautifully. The service was amazing, attentive without being overbearing, friendly, and genuinely happy to be there, which makes such a difference. Add in live music, and it just takes the whole night up a notch. Great food, great drinks, great sound, and an atmosphere that feels fun and upbeat without being chaotic. This is the kind of spot that works for date night, girls' night, or just a night out when you want good food, good wine, and good vibes. Miel de Agave definitely delivered & I can't wait to go back.

Amazing customer service! Shout out to Kevin the GM and his team for providing an immaculate experience for us. We randomly stumbled across this restaurant due to being in the area. It was an hour wait on a Saturday night but no wait to sit at the bar. Our food came out in a timely manner and EVERYTHING was good. The cocktails are also delicious, although they are on the pricey side. If you're looking for a date night or a night out with the girls, this is the spot!

Hubby and I came here to celebrate our anniversary, and this was a meal that did not disappoint! The inside is the perfect spot for an intimate dinner for 2 or a girls night out with the group. Beautifully decorated, incredibly insta worthy, and an upbeat playlist to keep the vibes going, this was a stunning restaurant. Our server, Oscar, was absolutely fantastic! Very friendly, very attentive. As were the other employees who helped clear plates, kept water glasses full, and offered up complementary mango margarita samples. We started with cocktails and an order of the elote. Hubby's paloma was refreshing and light and my carajillo was perfectly balanced. As an avid espresso martini lover, it was a perfect option for something new that fit the vibe The elote was also wonderful. Grilled corn topped with traditional elote toppings, it was sweet, smoky, spicy, and delicious. For entrees, I had the NY Steak, cooked to a perfect medium with a lovely, herby chimichurri and parmesan truffle fries. The fries were truffle-y but not overdone, something many restaurants struggle to execute well. Hubby had the pasta Bacanora: tender shrimp, wrapped in crispy bacon, served on the most creamy, delicious pasta, with perfectly grilled sourdough bread. We ended the meal with the tres leches cake, which, although it did not need the ice cream, was one of the better tres leches cakes I have had in a while. A delightfully light, spongy cake soaked in a delightfully sweet milk mix. The fresh berries were nice added touch. All in all, we will definitely be back to Miel de Agave!

Music is always on pointe and I would never change the look or ambiance of the place either. My last trip here though I had to ask about why the menu had stopped changing as often since we were one of two parties there in the middle of happy hour and there was a large framed picture of a bartender with a bunch of signed notes on the bottom of it beside me at the bar. It turns out that one of the oldest curators and bartenders of the bar and restaurant had passed from a drunk driving incident and I had not known at all! Gosh I was so disappointed in myself that I had ever complained about not having a new menu to try after that...but at the same time it was amazing to hear so many great anecdotes and to learn so much more about him and the history of the bar itself while dining this time. I had a lot of fun times at this bar - including remembering the first time I met that bartender and sharing that memory with the staff that told me their story. They also shared that they would be coming out with a new menu very soon and some of the new items and ideas that would be rolling out so I am also very excited to go back! New food menu tomorrow too?! What?! I was almost tempted to back today to get more of their amazing dishes from the main menu!! Thank you Cat for the amazing hospitality! We never feel bloated or gross after eating here, even if we over indulge a bit. Service is usually great. We had one time where the service was lacking, but they responded to my feedback quickly and even followed up on our next visit to make sure all was well the next time around. This most recent visit we had a good variety of items: Wings with all 4 sauces - these are always great. They are crispy and flavorful on it's own even without any of the sauce Bacon wrapped dates - my first time trying these. I enjoyed the bacon but wasn't a fan of the date texture inside. My brothers loved it though. I liked the sauce it pepper puree on it. Bianca pizza - it wasn't bad but not my first choice for their pizza. I like their carne pizza as I prefer my pizzas to have sauce. The ricotta was good. G&G double burger - this was really good and flavorful. The burger was cooked well and the bun was soft. The truffle fries were good as well. Braised short rib - I only tried a bite of this one. The short rib itself was very tender and I liked it, but I didn't care much for the puree. It was more of a whipped airy texture and pretty much dissolved in your mouth once you ate it, so I couldn't really taste anything. Truffle Mac and cheese - I didn't try this but my brothers liked it. One said the truffle was faint while the other said it was pretty noticeable lol The drinks were okay and can be a bit pricey. I liked the Crimson Garden because you can really taste the ginger which I love. Honey Apricot Cheesecake - this is a must try. I'm not a big cheesecake person but this one isn't dense like others are. The whipped cream is so good and it's not overly sweet. Lavender Matcha - I'm not a big lavender person but the lavender went well with the matcha. It wasn't too earthy either. If you're on the fence, definitely give this place a shot! We will definitely be back.

We ordered the nachos with shredded chicken and also the chicken wings. They're both good to order. One thing to note is that the nachos are potato chips and not tortilla chips so it might not be something you prefer. The toppings were plenty and tasty. The guys ate it so fast while we were chatting. We ordered multiple different style and flavor old fashions and the menu will indicate if the it comes with an add on like cookie or bacon with a little icon. The cookies were all fantastic! The bacon was tasty but a little bit soggy and not crispy for my taste. But the fat and savor of the bacon really works well with the sweet old fashioned choices. The sweet cookie works well with the less sweet and more tart options. It's pretty smart. Our server, Hanna was very attentive with food, drinks and waters and also very upbeat. Definitely not a dull place to get a drink at all. People seemed to be having a good time and enjoying the cozy feel of the bar. I would recommend this place if you're in downtown Chandler for cocktails and drinks and you don't want to stand all night and prefer to sit and chat.

Sitting inside would've have been nice but since the place is small and were quite a handful of people we decided to sit outside as the wether was at it's best! All drinks sounded delicious but I ended up getting their orange dreamsicle and my friend got the pink lady! More sweet, of course! But that's exactly how we enjoy out drinks

Could smell the kitchen from the street:) walk in and place was pretty busy, was asked if I had a reservation.. we did not.. I got a lil scared that we wouldn't be able to sit, luckily she was able to push an area together for us. Thank you!! There's live entertainment Music artist, he was really great, he also interacts with the crowd, love that, so you may get a lil duet in while you're here. Menu list several American food items, with a full bar to choose from. Mom got the prime ribs she said was great and hers got steak and me and mine got the Philly cheese steak, my boys got the chicken tenders with fries. With our phillys we got the garlic fries and they were really good! I love the crisp and flavor it was all there for me. To accommodate for the warmer months, they have lots of shade over the outdoor seating and some fans to help try to keep it as cool as possible. I ordered the brown sugar coconut latte and it was sooooooo good. I would say it was my ideal cup of coffee! Service was not terrible, but wasn't notable. Be sure to stick around inside to get your coffee. They only bring your order to you if it's a pastry (at least that's what it seemed). It was pretty busy inside when my friend and I went, so we chose some chairs outside. They gave her a number for her pastry and brought it out, but we had to go up to the counter to find our drinks after waiting several minutes and wondering. That all would have been great info to know when ordering initially. Definitely will be returning! Side note: If you're familiar with downtown Chandler, this won't come as a surprise, but since I'm not a Chandler-regular, I was a little surprised at the lack of parking aside from parallel parking just in front of the actual coffee shop. Ended up parking in a free parking garage, but it was a little bit of a walk to the coffee shop from the parking garage.
