Espos is a great fast casual dining experience. I recently ate her again and the quality has been consistent for 9 years. The food is very flavorful and filling. My husband and I shared the chicken enchilada plate which came with 2 enchiladas, rice and beans. I love their green sauce. The salsa bar is great so you can add fresh onions, cilantro and pickled red onion. If you are in the area, this is a nice spot to check out.

We do love Espo's as they are close, it's a small family owned business and overall the food is good...consistency is sometimes a problem, as it was today. So wife just about to bite down on the toothpick that was left in her flauta...huge safety risk! I ordered the carne asada plate that comes either burrito style or as a plate with flour tortilla; which is how I ordered it. Got home and no tortilla...too much to go back so let it go. Guacamole was way spicy today! This is where consistency is an issue because I think it depends on who is making it. Some days it's perfect and other days it's spicy hot like today. Overall everything was good and they were fairly busy but we didn't have to wait too long for our order.

Espos is a great place for a quick bite! Always clean, always fast and the service is great! I have not taken many pics of my meals when at Espos. The anticipation when driving over takes over my brain and I normally just start eating before thinking about taking food pics.

I really wanted to love this spot because the vibe is fantastic. They have a really cool patio area that's perfect for hanging out, though keep in mind the inside is pretty small with limited seating. If you're coming with a big group, aim for an outdoor table! As for the food, I tried a variety of tacos: Carne Asada, Chicken, and Machaca. Here's the breakdown: Machaca: Definitely the winner of the three. It had the best flavor profile. Chicken: Decent, but nothing to write home about. Carne Asada: This was a letdown. The meat texture resembled ground beef more than steak, and it just didn't hit the mark for me. Overall, everything felt a bit plain. While it's a neat local landmark with a great atmosphere, the food itself didn't feel particularly special or "must-have." Great for a casual drink and a snack on the patio, but I'm still searching for that "wow" factor.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants. I think their Green Chili plate with beans, rice and a tortilla is the best Green Chili in Arizona. Their Machaca and Chorizo options are also excellent. They have a salsa bar, but I don't feel like they offer a hot option, nor do they offer free chips. Nevertheless, I continue to recommend this place without hesitation. When the weather is nice, sitting on their patio is a great experience. I've simply never had a bad meal here. I also recommend visitors try Espos because of its authenticity. *Tip 1* They serve beer! **Tip 2** Headed to Harkins at Chandler Mall to watch a movie? Order your food to go, put it in your backpack and make that movie experience better than in would have been!

I've driven by when this place is packed and always thought it looked fun. I had time to try it today and I think I didn't know what to order or its just not for me.. I got the carne asada and carnitas tacos. These were just ok. The meat on both was just too soft and kinda wet for my taste. We also got an order of corn chips and an order of flour chips out of curiosity. The flour chips are odd! Small little squares of really puffy, almost pastry-like friedness. Neither of us liked these enough to eat any. The salsa is nice on the tacos but not my favorite for chips. I got the little order of guacamole and this was fresh and a nice size. Ambiance is cute on the patio. I think this is a popular local hangout and I will try again after checking reviews for what to order.

Wow! I am a fan of good Mexican food and this place did not disappoint me. Lots go great options, the place was clean and cute. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. You order at the counter and they call out your number to get it. My favorite thing was the green chili, I ended up eating things like a deconstructed nachos.

I felt like I was sitting in my Mexican aunts kitchen eating good homemade Mexican food. The machaca enchiladas were amazing. The sauce!!! YUM. Beans and rice were fabulous. The salsas were not good. Bland and boring. But the food was excellent. My husband got the machaca plate and loved it as well. If you want chips and salsa, you need to buy them. Very casual taco shop type atmosphere. Good parking. The food! Nice people too. **Let me add, I would usually knock off 1-2 stars because their hot sauce is not good BUT the food was so good I just couldn't. I hope they will up their hot sauce game and even include one little basket of chip with your order.

Seen this place a million times over the years and finally decided to stop in. Very nice little place with excellent food! I tried the green chili burrito and the beef taquitos. Both were very good!! DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE IT WAS EXCELLENT!

Heard about this family owned little restaurant and had to come try. It's super cute and when you walk in it's inviting and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I love family owned businesses because you can feel the love they have put into their food. And honestly for me, I really don't like chain restaurants so here I am trying this place out. The food was good and after placing my order it only took them at the most 10min before I was sitting down and enjoying my meal. I got the combination plate of carne asada and a red chili beef tamale. Yum yum! Let me tell you, the asada meat was so good. They give a nice serving of the guacamole and pico so it all goes well with the meal. My tamale was good, but a little dry on the end. Maybe from cooking it but nonetheless the rest of it was delicious. Now my eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach because it was too much to finish but very delicious. I highly recommend Espo's in Chandler AZ. You'll love everything about it from the moment you step in their door. Their staff, the wait time, the food and the atmosphere whether you eat inside or eat on their lovely patio.

My husband and I came here the other day. The food was good, nothing amazing like "omg we have to go back", but good. The service was nice, you order your food and then pick it up, so nothing like there's a server. The one thing I really didn't like was the bathroom is outside in the back(inside) of the place. It's a cute small place with decent food. And there was a $1.50 tech fee on my receipt and no one told me what for?!

From the moment we walked in, the ambiance, customer service, and drinks were amazing. I'm a HUGE mezcal lover, and they had a great assortment of mezcals and tequilas to choose from. If that's your thing, you will definitely appreciate their drink menu! Since we were heading to a show afterward, we didn't want to get too full, so we decided to share a few appetizers instead of ordering full entrées. The portions were surprisingly generous! We tried the chicharrón with guacamole, ahi tuna tostadas, and the Aguachile ribeye. Everything was delicious, but the ribeye was definitely a favorite. We're already fans of it from their sister restaurant, Blu Seafood, so we knew we had to order it here. Just keep in mind that at Agave it's served as an appetizer, so the portion is smaller so but absolutely worth it! And of course, we couldn't leave without dessert. We finished with their tres leches cake, and OMG... absolutely amazing. The perfect ending to the night! A special shoutout to our waitress, Jazmyn. She gave us incredible service, was so kind, attentive, and really knowledgeable about the menu. She made an already great experience even better. It fed the both of us just right. For dessert we had the Tres Leches cake and man we loved it too. The cake was moist and sweet but the ice cream was mild so it went perfect with the cake. I will say they close a little early on a Friday. Parking is a breeze in the large complimentary lot that surrounds the Mexican restaurant and bar. Ambiance (4.5/5): Trendy-looking Mexican restaurant. And a spacious one at that. Plenty of booth and table seating. We opted to sit at the bar. Pretty much the ideal restaurant experience for me. Nice without being stuffy. Service (4.5/5): Friendly service that was pretty efficient. What was awesome is they let us stay a good amount after close. Since they were cleaning up, they still had stuff to do, which allowed us to enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. Food (N/A): We had dinner prior so we were just there for drinks. They were nice enough to provide us with some free chips and salsa even though we were just having drinks. Two salsas, with one being a little too spicy for my taste. I can only handle a little kick. Good chips. I'll definitely have to come back for their food! Drinks (5/5): I appreciate it when a bar offers quality drinks that are creative. You'll find that at The Mexicano. Naturally, I went with the margarita flight which allows you to try four different frozen margs (prickly pear, lime, peach, and one more that's escaping me). And that's not all. They have a self-serve candy bar where you can add gummy bears, sour worms, and a variety of other candies to your margaritas. How cool! I've never seen anyone do this. If that wasn't enough, they have an all-day happy hour, every day of the week. I also haven't seen anything like that. Chef Joey is a genius! It was clean, the staff responded quickly to me, but I was the only person at lunchtime on the restaurant side, and there were only two people on the bar side. Despite that it was loud. They need sound attenuation, My server was prompt, and freely shared her menu favorites when I asked. Sadly I'm not really a mole fan, her recommendation, but did try the enchiladas divorciadas. First the chips and salsa... the salsa was basically puréed tomatoes. No heat at all. Just some salt. I asked for something spicier and the server found me some habanero salsa. That was tasty, but it probably had very little habanero in it. Again, no better than a low-med heat. I grew up across the southwest so to me that was disappointing. The enchiladas? I really wanted to like this place but honestly? It was unseasoned boiled and shredded chicken, wrapped in a raw / untoasted tortilla. And drowned in some that was not enchilada sauce. The red sauce tasted like tomato sauce. I'm used to red sauce being pepper based. The spicier and more roasted the better. No pepper discernible. The green sauce tasted like it had a hint of green Chiles but mostly tomatillo. Also boring but better than the red. Neither was good. I ate it, I was hungry and it wasn't greasy, but... this was a midwestern spice-hating simulacrum of an enchilada. No bueno, demasiada aburrida. So to sum it up; decent but slightly loud facility, wonderful server, and I would say forgettable food but the reality is it was unforgettably boring.

Dear [Manager/Customer Service Team],…read more I am writing to share feedback regarding a recent dining experience my brother and I had at Valle Luna. We decided to visit your restaurant to revisit a favorite childhood memory, but unfortunately, we were deeply disappointed with how much things have changed. While the staff at the entrance were very polite and seated us right away, the service quickly declined. A staff member brought out chips and salsa--which were enjoyable, though the chips required salt--but we were left without water or any other beverages. We waited 10 to 15 minutes before our waiter finally approached our table. He did not apologize for the long delay, though he did eventually take our order and bring our drinks. The food itself was also a disappointment. We started with the cheese crisp, which was tasty but had a slightly burnt oven flavor. For our main courses, I ordered the Sonoran Enchilada Dinner. The red sauce lacked flavor, the olives did not taste fresh, and the refried beans tasted as though they came directly from a can, though the rice was good. My brother ordered the Pork Chimichanga Dinner, but the pork was so incredibly chewy that it was completely unpalatable. Given the poor service and long delays, we were surprised that no courtesy discount was applied to our bill, and the experience left us feeling that a tip was not warranted. I hope that Valle Luna management will take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to both your service speed and food quality.
