Nick is an absolute legend!…read more We came to Portofino not knowing what to expect, and we left completely blown away -- and honestly, a huge part of that was our waiter, Nick. This guy is on another level. From the moment we sat down, Nick's energy, knowledge, and genuine passion for hospitality set the tone for the entire evening. He wasn't just taking our order -- he was curating an experience. Now let's talk about the Cacio e Pepe -- insanely good doesn't even begin to cover it. It was perfectly executed: silky, bold, with just the right bite of pepper. Classic done right. But you know what made it taste even better? Nick. He recommended it with such confidence and enthusiasm that we had to order it, and he absolutely delivered. Nick was attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable without being pretentious, and just an all-around fantastic human being. He made us feel like VIP guests from start to finish -- checking in at exactly the right moments, offering spot-on suggestions, and keeping the whole experience flowing effortlessly. If you go to Portofino, you absolutely should ask for Nick by name. He is the kind of server that reminds you why going out to dinner is supposed to be a special occasion. We will 100% be back, and Nick is a big reason why. Portofino, you have a gem on your staff. Treat him well!

Perfect spot at the perfect time. While traveling to Camp…read moreGeiger from Florida. We found this gem of a spot. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was fresh and hot. Calzone was piping hot and dough was flavorful and sausage and cheese a good mix. My wife had the chicken Parmigiana and was - again hot and delicious. Pricing was spot on. Wroth the stop and will be back.

Complete Disappointment - A Disgrace to Italian Cuisine I…read moreordered a takeout meal from Anthony's Italian Restaurant, and it was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. Across multiple dishes, the quality was severely lacking, and the logistics of picking up the food were a total mess. The Food: Overcooked, Watery, and Questionable Ingredients Arancini (0/5): A complete disgrace to Sicily. The rice inside was pure mush, and the exterior--which is supposed to be perfectly crispy--was completely soggy. Worse still, the ground meat inside tasted rancid. It was entirely inedible. Chicken Anthony's (1/5): This dish was incredibly watery, bland, and absolutely not worth the $16 price tag. Spinach Pizza (3/5): The only saving grace for the savory dishes was that the flavors here were actually good. Unfortunately, the execution failed because the pizza was heavily overcooked. The Salad (2/5): Completely mediocre. It featured unripe tomatoes, pitted olives, and old, cheap feta cheese that had clearly been sliced a week ago and left to dry out. Desserts (2/5): The cannoli was a joke, containing barely a single spoonful of ricotta filling. The only item that tasted good was the limoncello cake--but that's because it was clearly commercial and not made in-house. The Takeout Experience: Total Chaos The ordering and pickup process was incredibly frustrating. When I called in my order, I had to repeat it several times because the background noise inside the restaurant was deafening, and the staff couldn't hear me. When I arrived to pick it up, the lobby layout proved to be a logistical nightmare. There were about 10 to 12 customers all awkwardly standing around waiting for their food, yet management has only provided a single chair in the front of the restaurant. The current setup simply does not work for a busy takeout business. The Verdict Between the chaotic pickup environment, overpriced dishes, and genuinely disgusting Arancini, I will not be returning to Anthony's. If you want authentic, fresh Italian food, look elsewhere.

Location is on busy Highway 17 N. Parking is adequate for the restaurant of this size. When inside,…read morethe restaurant is darkly lit, with candle light. Numerous tables and booths available for seating, as well as the bar. And outside dining is also an option. Prices & portions seem reasonable. This place appears to get quite busy and also looks to have many regulars. Family-owned- European and Northern Italian influence. We came on a Saturday night, shorty before close, so we were able to get two seats at the bar. Our bartender was extremely attentive throughout our visit. Complementary bread is provided. Comes with a nice oil and garlic blend. Ordered the Bucatini Puttanesca & Spaghetti with Italian Sausage. These come with a dinner salad or up grade to a Caesar for $2 more (which I did). Both salads were fresh and delicious. I will say one of the best caesar dressings I've had. The pasta, presentation was lovely. The flavors bland, tomato sauce (tastes straight from the can) had no additional spices present and the pasta way over cooked. Seems their noodles are pre-cooked and Al Dente then is just not possible. This is another reason why the rating was just below average. Really disappointing. Would not be a place we would revisit.
