My new landlord recommended I have lunch at Pizzelli's Italian Oven here in Little River. I ordered a personal size CA White Pizza. It has chicken, spinach, feta, tomatoes and garlic. It's just the right thickness and so very flavorful. I sat at the bar and have been conversing with the bartender. She moved down from PA last November and she says she loves it down here. She recommended it if I come to dinner anytime to get here by 3:30-4pm or I'll be waiting hours to eat. I will definitely be back. It feels like a lot of the locals come here too. It's definitely got a great vibe in here too. The staff have been very friendly as well. read more

We've dined at Pizzeli's three times over the last couple years and, after our last visit, will be moving it up in our rotation. This is a great casual Italian restaurant, with an extensive menu of mostly classic Italian dishes. Across our three visits, food was always fresh, well prepared, and attractively plated. It's a good value, too! Service, always friendly and quick, was especially so in our last visit thanks to our server, Nikki, who accommodated our customized requests. Be careful when getting take out. They have a price for cash and a price for using a card. I paid with cash. The cashier threw my receipt away and gave me my change. I asked for the receipt and when I got to my car she had not only shorted me but, it was more than the card price. When I asked for the difference there was a server sitting with her legs crossed on a stool ( unprofessional) who commented that I returned for the change. We had originally planned on eating some Calabash Seafood this evening, but there was a kitchen malfunction and they had to close early. We took a drive down 17 and stopped here From the outside, you wouldn't know that this great little Italian eatery was so good!! While the menu had a great selection of food choices and amazing prices, we opted for the California Pizza and a salad The pizza was recommended to us and very glad it was! It's a very thin and flakey crispy crust white pizza with garlic, spinach, tomato, marinated chicken, feta and very thinly sliced onions The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was perfect. Went in to pick up my order and the cashier was taking an order on the phone. The place was busy. A nice waiter , Ken , came over and asked if he could help me. When we first arrived in Little River we stopped here for a bite . The atmosphere was homey ,family style ! We were seated and greeted by our server. We ordered and the food came out in a timely manner . I had a personal pizza with toppings and my husband had a hot chicken sandwich. I really enjoyed the pizza , crispy crust and flavorful sauce . unfortunately, our time tonight the food was good as always but Selena the bartender charged me for 11 beers which I know for a fact I only had seven. I was there for two hours. There's no way in hell I could've drank 11 beers I wouldn't have been able to walk out or drive home. We know her mom we know the entire staff I'm very very disappointed about this. Updated review we had pizza with eggplant and chicken. Was cooked perfect and delicious thin crust. Also had chicken tenders and fries. The chicken tenders were delicious dipped in the honey mustard high quality meat .I didn't care for the french fries they were like ore Ida frozen crinkle cut but it dont matter you don't go to an Italian restaurant for fries lol. Still in my top 3.fresh and delicious and have eaten here numerous times as well we had the eggplant Parm dinners and baked ziti amazing. read more

This is by far one of the best Italian restaurants around. I love their Steak hoagie with extra cheese. Ordered a pizza day before yesterday with pepperoni, Italian Sausage pepper and onions to take back to Raleigh. So very very disappointed at the toppings. I did not see any sausage a string or two of onions, about 6 or 7 pieces of red peppers and a few pepperonis. Couldn't believe it because we ordered the XL New York pizza from The Pizza Hut for $13.95 and could hardly carry it out because it was so loaded and delicious. The Swing Bridge Pizza place doesn't put but a very few toppings on either so we aren't paying $25 for a large pizza with a few pepperonis on it! read more
