I called the pharmacy two days ago to ask when the best time would be to come in for shots. The woman told me at 8 am. I said no appointment necessary- she said no. So I did what was recommended (came in at 8 waiting in line 2 before me) and they said sorry No Appointment then after 9:30. I was clearly upset and told them- they said they could take us at 9. No one here in line though. We waited. More people came so why didn't they deal with us when no one was in line and after 9:10 am they still didn't take us. This pharmacy is run so poorly. And the staff was not very accommodating or compassionate, saying these appointment rules are new. They are disorganized as well (one pharmacist asking where the syringes are). Here at 8am. Picked up prescriptions (we said we'd wait until 9 as told we would be seen) and shots given at 9:30). The person given the shot, very nice and professional. read more

I waited on hold for 32 minutes so I drove over there while I was on hold, walked to the prescription area and asked if someone was going to answer my call What is it with this Rite Aid whenever you call nobody ever picks up the phone. Her tone of voice would change among people depending on race. I hope management reads this and fires her. Last night I saw something that was rather disturbing at this location and I really felt the need to post it on here. I will start by saying I actually have really loved this location historically. It's clean, organized, and the staff have been very friendly to me. That's why this incident was very surprising. My husband and I stopped in last night to pick something up and we walked in as a man was also walking in at the same time. At first glance he looked like he was maybe homeless, but I noticed he was clean shaven, and wearing clean clothes. His feet were however a little dirty and he was wearing flip flops. He wasn't acting inebriated in the slightest and honestly just looked like someone that lives on the west side. Immediately a young staff member started yelling at him that he needed to wear socks to enter. He started following the man saying you look sketchy, you can't be in here! The man in question coherently said "I did nothing wrong, please stop following me." The employee made a huge scene that the entire store could hear and continued following the man around screaming at him. It was honestly pretty disgusting. If he thought the man was suspicious, just keep a close eye on him while he shops. He did not deserve that type of treatment and the employee was completely over-the-top cruel and seemed to get pleasure from the humiliation. I looked around and saw countless people wearing sandals with no socks. The employee was a skinny short boy with dark hair. The whole thing left a really sour taste in my mouth. Will I be harassed if I come in late night not looking my best too? Even if he was under instructions to monitor the store for certain people, call security and let them handle it instead of streaming and getting agro. Worst pharmacy anywhere. The pharmacists literally do not know what they are doing at all. They do not understand how e-script work, they don't check voicemail on Doctor orders, they never know how to give medications with less strength of the higher strength isn't available... The helpers can be impatient sometimes. Health care professionals should absolutely be required to be courteous to its customers as at times they aren't feeling well. Some of the technicians would argue with the customers... Can't believe this is a place in the middle of Beverly Hills. We always try to be cordial and understanding but this place needs serious customer service training, pharmaceutical process training and I think, once in awhile, it would be really nice to clean the restrooms. It's a Rite Aid, it's not Gucci. Just because it's two blocks from Rodeo doesn't mean that you should expect the same stellar treatment like a personal shopper. I think they are well stocked, fully capable of answering your questions in many languages and friendly. I haven't used the pharmacy there so I cannot agree or disagree with the previous entries. All in all I appreciate that I can find Christmas wrapping paper when I've run out at the last minute. It's one of those things that is funny and you don't realize unless you live around here, but it's not that easy to find a surplus of choices for Christmas wrapping paper a day or two before the actual day. This is one of the worst pharmacy establishments I have ever been into. Nothing is ever stocked ever and all of the employees are extremely incompetent especially the pharmacist Julia. She is one of the most rude and disrespectful people I have ever had the pleasure of trying to get a medication from. She was not just rude to me but rude to all costumers. In an industry where you are trying to help people, Julia seems as if she wants to only establish power over you and not find a solution to a problem if one arrises. Worst customer service ever. I came in at 10:30 hoping to purchase candy and use their restroom to wash my hands as they were dirty. I saw one of the cashiers wash their hands by the thrifty station and asked if I can use it and she said they have a bathroom we can use but we need to ask the staff. I go up to the pharmacy and ask for a key for the restroom; they claim only the front had it. We go up to the registers in the front, and the clerk says the bathroom is closed after 10 pm. Ended up trying to wash my hands by the thriftys ice cream and got yelled at. The security told me to use the bathroom, while the other cashiers were claiming it's closed "and has been closed for a year" - my friend had mentioned she used it the week prior and so did a simple google review search say otherwise . The WORST Rite Aid/pharmacy I've ever been in my entire life. I am so angry that it compelled me to write this awful review. I'm the only person in line, 4 people (one after another) are cutting the line to pick up medications, I swear to you they wasted so much time, the line grew to about 12 people behind me. I ask the cashier if there is some magic line I don't know about and she goes "oh if they've been in the store earlier to put in an order within the last hour they can just go ahead and go to the front of the line" I can't believe they allow these entitled Beverly Hills residents to cut the line, and this is their excuse. There is no sign that says this, and this has never ever been a policy at any other Rite Aid. I rather have plucked out every single eye brow one by one than to have been in a Rite Aid pharmacy line. The store lost a loyal customer today. There's a new parking system, and nowhere is there a sign that parking has to be validated, so for less than 10 minutes, I was charged $4.50. The attendant was as mean and indifferent as she could be. She told me that I could get out of the car and go get validated or I'd have to pay. There were 4 cars behind me blocking me. I pointed that out to her, and she said, yeah. She refused to let me reenter the lot so I could get validated. So either she goes or I go. And I am gone. read more

Zero stars if I could. This is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. There is always an extremely long line and although they have 5 registers, usually only one is active. They are severely understaffed. Some of them are nice (Eden) but more times than not, you'll have to deal with someone who is either incompetent, rude, or most likely, a combination of both. If you have a prescription for a controlled substance, good luck. They will not fill it when your doctor calls it in. It's not enough to show your ID when you pick it up, you must show up, wait in the drop off line (anywhere between 10-30 min) show your ID and then wait an hour+ for them to fill it (assuming they even have it in stock, which more times than not, they don't). You must then wait in the extremely long pickup line which on average is about 30 min. If you have to show your ID at pick up, why is it necessary to show it at drop off? I have never had this experience at any other pharmacy. I called my previous Rite Aid and the pharmacist laughed when I told him what they were requiring me to do. It was unheard of. I've run into countless issues with them when trying to fill a prescription. Once I get ahold of them on the phone, usually 10-15 min wait time, they will insist my insurance doesn't cover the medicine. I will ask them to please check again. They get angry but check again because I am persistent (who should have to be THIS persistent about getting medicine that you need??) and lo and behold, my insurance does cover it. It's been the same rigamarole every month. So happy to be done with this hell hole. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

The worst pharmacy. This is the third time I've filled prescriptions here and my doctors called them in and had electronic records. The pharmacy filled generic versions and missed 2 out of 4 prescriptions. Both times, my doctor had to called twice and twice they sent prescriptions in electronically and via phone but the pharmacy claims it didn't happen. Tonight I have a horrible infection and the pharmacy neglected to fill all 4 prescriptions again. My doctor was shocked. I called him twice after hours. The pharmacist barely spoke English and said he couldn't get a hold of my doctor. But I just had! He claimed not to have received the prescriptions. L a z y, anyone? Please hire new management and train staff ASAP especially in the Pharmacy Department. I waited so long (in person just standing in front of the pharmacy team) for two prescriptions. I explained the urgency of needing the prescriptions for someone who is in surgery now and finishing soon. I was told that they needed to check to see if the prescriptions were in stock. Not once did ANYONE follow up with me to give me an estimate on if they had the prescriptions in stock OR if the wait would be another 2-24+ hours. This is not acceptable for any pharmacy, let alone a pharmacy in Beverly Hills, let alone for someone who refers patients to pharmacies in the area. After over 18 years of working in the medical field in this neighborhood, I can honestly say this is the WORST PHARMACY EVER. They have made things difficult for so many of our patients throughout the years. I hope one day they take basic courses in how to communicate properly. read more
