She consistently appears unhappy, avoids coming to the counter, and instead shouts from the back when a pharmacist is needed -- which is not only uncomfortable, but raises real concerns about professionalism and patient privacy. On top of that, she seems to invent her own rules. If she doesn't personally approve of a medication -- weight-loss prescriptions, ADHD meds like Ritalin or Adderall, etc. -- she'll find a technicality to delay or refuse the fill. One especially troubling tactic: refusing prescriptions from out-of-area physicians. UCSB students, beware. After too many negative interactions, my family and I finally moved all of our prescriptions elsewhere. The contrast in service was immediate. I really hope this pharmacy returns to the standard it once had.

Even over the phone there was confusion about a prescription that has a lot of steps to get approved each month and the woman on the phone kept repeating the same sentence and would not answer any of my questions until I finally hung up. They regularly ask for your info and just toss the prescription at you and walk away. I get the same prescriptions every month and every time they say they don't have record of it and I need to call my doctor, even though my doctor had receipt of them getting my prescription and on the CVS app is shows they are working on it. The actual CVS staff are great and helpful but I will not be refilling my prescriptions here.
