We've been going into Ritecuts for almost 2 yrs now. My husband took our boys today for walk-in back to school cuts. They have 9am posted as their open time, no one showed up until 9:23. They spoke in Spanish to each other before saying they could only do 2 cuts. As the convo was happening a 9:25 appointment arrived. So the 2 cuts were rushed and the 3rd never happened. Maybe if they opened on time they could have had time for all cuts. Just lost 3 clients due to tardiness! read more

Jesus has been cutting my Dad's, son, and my hair for years. He cuts are always on point. He's able to do designs with the clippers for my son and does great cuts with the scissors for my Dad and I. I grew up going to og barber shops 20 years ago, that being said: Antonio was awesome. Never been cut there n he did a top notch job. Older cat that listened and gave me exactly what I wanted. PERFECT HARD PART I've had a cut at a lot of places but it's hard to find a barber that takes the time to reinspect his work and correct anything off. I thought he was done and he took the time to comb every hair and look for imperfections which he corrected. Will never return to this place again. My 8 year old son had an appointment with Yasmin to cut his hair. He is growing it out long but we wanted a trim for picture day coming up. The place is dumpy! Trash and inventory everywhere. The service was absolutely terrible! Besides asking what I would like done, Yasmin did not speak to us at all. My son was making painful faces, since he's a bit shy, I asked, "is that hurting you?" He said yes and she never said a word, like oh I'm sorry honey or what part hurts....nothing, just ignored us. In the end she cut way too much off and he lost all the length. It would have still been a cute haircut but she didn't blend at all so the hair transitions in length with these blunt steps. My son's haircut usually takes 15 minutes, maybe 20 min max. She painfully took 45 minutes! Can you imagine standing there with an 8 year old for 45 minutes while she chops his hair in absolute silence. It was a nightmare. I looked on the wall for her license, I didn't see it at her station and maybe it's posted somewhere else but I wouldn't be surprised if she's unlicensed or in training. I also witnessed the the owner nick his client in the next chair over, saying "whoa, I bet that woke you up" chuckling. Yikes! Sorry Tocayo but you need to be educated. My 2 boys and myself have been coming to RiteCut since 2010. The barbers are amazing, shoutout to Jesus and Marcelo. Recently with the pandemic there have been some adjustments. Leadership for Ritecut did a great in the first few weeks but then relaxed there public health orders. You think this is a hoax Carlos?? Prior to the pandemic, handful of times, I noticed Carlos Yelling and belittling his staff, I think he needed to do that to puff his chest or inflate his ego idk, either way, it was very unprofessional. This is made it awkward, but ONLY decided to come for the barbers. Recently, made an appt and saw the owner Carlos, No mask for Carlos or his misinformed customers. That was the last straw. You would think when you make an appointment you could expect to be in the barber chair close to that time. Give or take maybe 5 minutes. This is the third time I made an appointment for my son and he sat there well over 20 minutes before it was his turn. The haircuts are over priced for the quality of cut. Shame on me for thinking this place is a good shop and that the third time would be different. They should move to a dirt lot, set up a tent and some chairs and cut hair on the side of road for $10 and that's including the tip. That's about all they haircut is worth and the experience they bring. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

I hate leaving bad reviews, but it must be done in order to give feedback to the business and fair notice to customers. I went to this place because is a few blocks from my house, as other reviewers have commented the owner Carlos has a bit of an attitude and there were a few times were there was tension between the Barbers and him. Making it unnecessarily unpleasant to be there. I also don't need to hear him talk about how much California is taxing him and why he is raising his prices, and how Democrats are ruining the state I usually don't mind the political bickering but it was too much. That day I only stayed because I had already waited a while but I should have walked out. So now to his glorious appointment software that customers pay for with the raised prices (his words), it seems that it fails more times than it works. As you walk in you are not welcomed with a "Hi welcome, do you have an appointment or are you walking in?" Instead you get a stern, "Sign in!" as if someone should automatically know that the Ipad at the counter is for customers to register. A few weeks back I made an appointment and it was not in the system, and today to top it off I made the appointment, confirmed the time and location, showed up 10 minutes before the appointment and the system "glitched" and was not showing the appointments. Anyways, now I've been sitting for about 30 minutes past my appointment time, and I'm thinking that If I was the owner and wanted to make up for wasting my customers time I would charge the walk in rate ($21). After all it was Walk in service, not the appointment I paid extra to receive. When I'm ready to pay he charges me $25 the inflated appointment fee for using his software (that miserably fails). I ask him if he is charging me Walk in, for my walk in service, and he replies you had an appointment. $4 lost him my future business Someone else mentioned Greed in a review, that is not an understatement. I pay the man his $25 dollars, without a word and a thank him. $4 doesn't make me or him richer or poorer but it was the principle that I paid for something I did not receive, that convinced me once and for all I was done supporting this business. Customer service is not his strong suit. I walked out knowing I would never give him my business again. It's a shame because he can cut hair really well, but I can't turn a blind eye to everything mentioned above. Good luck read more

I love my ability to make an appointment online and In advance. Furthermore my appointments have always been fairly punctual and even if they started late they finished within the 30 min appointment window with a quality cut. There are a lot of bad comments about Carlos, while he has never cut my hair he has always greeted me and seemed courteous. I have been by three different barbers and received a good haircut every time. People complaining about price must not have been to any other barber shop in a while. read more

If you're stuck/residing in the Murrieta/Temecula area, this is probably one of your best shot at getting a clean haircut. I'll start off with what I liked about them. They run a good, clean shop. When I came in, I was worked on by a young vato so it was able to make good conversation with the dude. He took his time with my hair and my haircut turned out alright -- and the straight razor neck shave was nice. Essentially adequate and what I needed, but nothing exceptional. What I was displeased with was that the dude had to use clippers with attachment instead of sticking with scissors the entire time. Also, he cut the area around my hair whorl too short and it was a hassle getting it to stick down. I sport a pompadour. Not a metro-ass quiff. Not a rockabilly/psychobilly hair cone. A clean pompadour. In comparison to other barber shops I've been to, this place was definitely adequate and a place that allowed me to walk out with a smile. In the end, these were what I look for in my haircuts: - Was I treated with respect? Yes. - Speed & barber-confidence vs. attention to detail? Adequate. - Neck & ear straight-razor shave? The lady who did my sons hair was nice enough but I don't know if she was using old shavers or if the shaver was not clean but it cut the hell out of the back of his head. We walked out with cuts and red marks and the back of his neck. The haircut as a whole is nice and even just wish they would be more careful with the clippers. read more

Great location and the owner even works here. That's big for me when you're a business owner you should still come and check on your business. There were about 8 people working and the que to get a hair cut was short. They give you a lot of attention here and I'll be coming back again in two weeks. The price is decent compared to vegas where I live. For them to shave my beard with a straight razor only cost $12 and I didn't use my first client coupon, which is m fault lol.
