I think we've been using Ritz once a week, mostly for button-up shirts. I could wash them at home but the wife doesn't like ironing (and neither do I!) and honestly for a few bucks a week, Ritz does an excellent job with their wash & press service. Occasionally we'll do dry cleaning. We've never had an issue. They are right around the corner and bonus, they're next to a fantastic ramen joint :-) Only negative is the parking lot which is out of their control, but they do have a couple of spots right up front reserved for their customers which helps immensely. Keep up the good work!

So I started to review Ritz a few years ago, and apparently succumbed to my rather severe ADHD and left the review abandoned and alone, like a lost little puppy. I've neglected it for far too long, but no more! This puppy is going to receive all of the love and attention it deserves at long last and, because it is in fact a review and NOT an actual puppy, it probably won't resent me for anywhere near as long... right? So anyway, back to the review. Ritz is simply amazing. They've taken everything I've thrown at them with exceptional catching abilities and aplomb. I know I shouldn't be tossing dirty laundry around like that, but sometimes I just can't help myself. (Please note: no actually laundry has been hurled at anyone; I do not wish dirty laundry in the face of anyone!) Beyond being exceptionally good at their job, the staff are courteous and kind, and make me smile every time I go in. To the DRY CLEANERS. Prior to Ritz I didn't know that that could be a thing, but we live and we learn; we live and we learn. Now, to give you and idea of just how much I trust Ritz, I have a friend from whom I have been known to borrow a tuxedo when the situation arises (and yes, I know from my profile photo you wouldn't think it's something that would ever actually happen, but here we are.) It's made of silk and Italian lace, and is simply amazing. I could never afford to own the thing, but I can afford to borrow it at the very least. However, in doing so, a dry cleaning is also in order, and there is exactly one place that I trust to clean it, one place I trust not to ruin this bespoke suit of my friend's.... And it's Ritz. Seriously, I can't say enough good things about them, although at the moment I'm a bit ill so I may well need to cut it off there, but I will say this: I love Ritz, I love the service I receive there, and I just love the... the honesty of them. I've never felt messed about with, and if there does happen to be something that is beyond their magic cleaning powers, they'll tell you and give you options for how to get it sorted out. I could not be happier; thank you Ritz!

When I asked them how much it was going to cost I had already figured at least $15 at the min for the rush.

The first couple of times we used their fluff and fold service it was decent enough, other than getting a random extra pair of boxers that weren't mine and a couple of other peoples t-shirts... The last time we used them, they gave us back thrift store clothes and kept our actual clothes... John, the owner shared with me he had continued to employ a drug addict who has done this before. He was so sorry and embarrassed and wanted to know how to make it right for us... We agreed that we'd try to asses the value of what we lost and let John know. This was an amicable enough call. He seemed dejected and sad but expressed a desire to make it right. Fast forward two months now and John and his wife Kelly have patronized and attempted to pacify me multiple times with multiple excuses on why they weren't honoring John's own request to compensate us for our losses. Neither has even offered a refund. It's hard to tell fact from fiction, but it is clear their goal is to brush losing $750 worth of my wardrobe under the rug. I've waited over two months for compensation, and even offered a reduced settlement price as an olive branch to show I recognize running a business can be costly and difficult. The staff all seem to say the same things about John and Kelly, they are rude and short with people and try to undercut pay and etc. It shouldn't be a surprise that after the business makes a mistake they accept zero accountability and word for word today told me: "What are you going to do, sue us for $750? Go ahead!" Okay. ‍ Needless to say, I don't think people like them should be able to be in charge of other people's careers let alone run a business. Avoid at all costs.

I was delighted that I was able to schedule a next day pick up and delivery can be scheduled 24 hours after. Everything went through smoothly with pick up and drop off, items were washed and folded neatly and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend

As I started loading things into the dryer, I was asked to remove them by the owner. Because the rule is you have to use BOTH washer & dryer. You can't use the dryer only. The owner wanted me to rewash my clothes & then use the dryer. This is so controlling. After reviewing Richard's comment, I'd like to keep my review of ZERO stars for lack of customer service. When someone is dealing with hard ship & will have to pay to get that fixed. And now the owner wants me to spend more time at 8pm and more money to re wash my clothes, because they are a "Full Service" laundromat. They are not washing or drying clothes for you. Other laundromats aren't like this. First time I've ever heard this rule. Even if it's a policy, it's my first time there, let me Dry my clothes this first time. Now I will never go back and don't ever recommend someone to go there. I went to the El Camino Coin Laundromat in Oceanside. It was so peaceful & I felt safe there. I recommend going there for better service. You are in & out. No one bothers you.
