Sometimes if a shirt is missing a button, they kindly fix it for us. Although there is usually a fee, some places don't always remember to take care of special requests, but here they do. The prices seem reasonable compared to other shops around here. That's one of the reasons our family feels comfortable and confident dropping off our clothes here. read more

We took two pair of suits in on Monday, needing them all cleaned and one of the pants hemmed. The seamstress told me that she will have it done by Friday as we need it for an event on Saturday. Come Friday and my pants are not hemmed nor dry cleaned. The lady at the counter said that the seamstress was not working today. UNACCEPTABLE. they promised us it would be done by Friday and they did not deliver. My husband asked if they could refund us and they only refunded him for $15 for hemming. He asked well what about the charge to clean them that WE HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR? They refused to refund anymore than that. Now I have no clue what I'm supposed to do as I need to wear the pants tomorrow and have no other option at the moment. VERY DISAPPOINT IN THIS PLACE. read more

I took my daughters wedding dress in to be cleaned. It wasn't bad but had a few smudges. When I picked it up the spots were still there as if they hadn't done anything but put a tag on it. They said they would try again but when I picked it, it again looks like they didn't do anything at all. The guy said he cleaned it but it appears to be exactly the same. Even stuffed oddly in the bag the same as the last time (folded in a way to try to hide the smudge) I've been coming here for twenty years and lately it seems like more & more clothes don't come out or they are pressed badly. I wondered if it has changed people or practices. This was the tipping point for me. If it's important, this isn't the place I recommend. read more

Worst dry cleaner. They lost our items 2x and found them and then a 3rd time lost completely. Dropped off a 3 piece suit a week and a half prior to when we needed it. On the day they quoted for pick up said only 2 pieces were ready and they forgot the jacket at the other location. Other location??? Are you kidding. I had them clean a formal dress for me that I bought used. It took 6 days & $40. They're closed in the middle of the day, and I came around 4 when they reopen but they were about 15 minutes late so a few people were waiting. The employees were nice and I felt the price and wait time was reasonable. They texted me when my dress was ready which was neat. They also have some coupons on their website. I just bought a new jacket online, took it to the dry cleaners the next day (July 13, 2020) I went to pick it up 4 days later (July 17, 2020) When I got home later that night, I quality controlled the jacket. I noticed along the shoulder a one inch hole, and then horrified to see two gaping holes on both sides of the jacket along the sides. This instantly infuriated me as the establishment never acknowledged they completely destroyed the jacket. It is a dry clean only piece of clothing. To begin, I will never use another Dry Cleaner as long as Fairlane is in business. I always drop my clothes, pay ahead and pick up. My clothes are always perfect and ready when promised. This last time I dropped two pairs of slacks and a blazer. I picked up, took them home and hung them up. About 5 days later, I'm ready to wear my blazer and I see a paper bag stapled to my receipt tag. I'm going to throw it away but it looks like there's a note inside. So I open it. Yes, there are notes. Bank notes. US currency! Apparently, I left cash in one of my pockets and there it was, staples in a bag to my blazer. If a company is THAT honest? I will use them, always. I've been taking my husband's expensive business suits, sweaters and shirts here for over 10 years and have never had a problem. Many times I've rushed in asking if they could get them cleaned in a hurry because my husband had an unexpected meeting. They graciously fulfilled our request and we picked the clothes up the next day! Not only are they accommodating, they are the friendliest shop owners I've met! Love the owner and Lupe! Victor is the nicest guy you ever want to meet. I recently purchased a high-dollar, custom-made bedding set second-hand and brought the comforter to Fairlane for cleaning based on their positive Yelp reviews. The first time I took it there, I thought it was all one piece. Victor was very honest with me and said he wasn't comfortable cleaning it because he was afraid the batting inside would bunch up and it would be ruined. He described the process it would go through, and I agreed with his assessment. I was disappointed, but very grateful for his honesty. Turning away business in the current economy had to be difficult! A couple weeks later when I was deciding what to do with the comforter, I figured out by accident that it's actually a duvet cover and insert! (Those buttons are hidden *amazingly* well!) Ecstatic, I took both back to Victor and he agreed with the two separated, it shouldn't be a problem to clean, and he even gave me a discount for the two pieces together. Score! He promised it in a week, and the following Friday I went back to get it. He had cleaned the insert successfully (I barely recognized it, it seemed so much brighter!), but alas, he had yet to do the duvet cover. I live a good 30 minutes away and was on my lunch hour, so I wish I'd have known to call ahead. He said he would call when the other was finished. After another week and a half, I called for a status because I hadn't heard anything. He said it was ready but he had some trouble with my Google number (you have to state your name before it will put the call through). I picked it up today, and the insert came out okay. The stains are lighter and it smells noticeably better, so that's an improvement. The duvet cover did not fare as well. The stains on the underside don't appear too different, it still has the slightly funky smell it went in with, and although it was folded nicely, it didn't appear to be pressed or anything. Everything was neatly packaged in two separate plastic storage bags, so that was nice. I'm not sure what to think. I hate to give up on this set, but the duvet cover retaining that slight smell makes me not want to put it on my bed, and for the quality of it, I expected it to come out a lot more nicely. read more

I went to this establishment asking them if they would be able to add these inserts into the placket. After showing them the instructions to it they told me they could do it. So I had them also hem a pair of pants and dry clean both the shirt and pants as well. So I handed over the instructions and inserts to them and paid for 2 alterations and 2 items to be dry cleaned. I came to pick them up today and asked if they put the inserts in the placket since it didn't feel different when I felt for them. She told me she put them in and then I noticed they were just put under the collar. Not inside the seem like they're supposed to. And when I pointed that out she gave me attitude saying it'll take her too long and she would change me a lot of money for it, mind you this is days after she said she would do it and I already paid for it. She didn't refund me the cost of the "alterations" when all she did was place them under the collar which my 2 year old niece could do. This was a wildly unprofessional experience and if she just said she couldn't I could have found another place to instead of wasting my time and money. Warning: a bit long but worth the read & repost from my good friend We have been coming here for a few yrs now and the lady that works the front is super sweet, nice and very professional. We had dropped off a Red Nike hooded sweater, brand new only wore once and when we went to pick-up there was black stain marks in the front as well as one the arms and hoodie section. The nice lady asked me to come back Monday (today) to speak with the mgr to see about accommodating us for the sweater either store credit or see what our options are. We go there and she is speaking with the owner and all you see is the owner saying no no no. The owner walks to the front and tells me that it is not their fault because the type of sweater I brought in there is a part where it leaks after washing (the Nike logo). I go excuse me this is not the first Nike sweater we brought (mind you I've brought in a gray and black sweater same exact kind w/no issues) He said no our policy clearly states any material that the logo leaks is not their fault. I said sir this was a brand new sweater not understanding the "leak" part but if you knew it would leave marks why would you take my sweater. He was firm did not offer any accommodations for their mess-up and totally was blaming us for bringing that sweater to them. I was upset it wasn't even about the accommodation at that point but his deliverance! He was so firm to blame us and basically didn't care. I took back my other items I was planning on dropping off and told him respectfully "well I will not be coming here anymore." He just kept saying it's not their fault it's the type of sweater we brought and brand etc. I would totally star them 0 but I gave 2 stars because the nice woman working the front was awesome and I hope he doesn't treat her the way he treated us today! read more

AVOID THIS BUSINESS!! Absolutely terrible dry cleaner. Extremely rude man who claims he's the owner, but I don't believe him, We've been using this dry cleaner location for 35 years. When Victor was the owner, there was never a problem. During the pandemic he sold the business to a woman who had dry cleaning experience. Things became totally disorganized. Clothes were never ready when promised and often when I returned she'd have to go searching through everything to find my items - but she always found them. I started going to another dry cleaner who always had my items ready on the day promised, if not before. Unfortunately they went out of business, so I reluctantly returned to Fairlane. Six weeks ago I took in two dress shirts for dry cleaning. When I went to pick them up (well after the date promised) the rude man retrieved my dry cleaning and announced "one shirt". I said no - look at the ticket - I paid for two shirts. He said, but someone wrote "one shirt" on our ticket. After admitting that they had lost one shirt, he asked me to come back in a week and they'd have the shirt. When I returned, the woman, who I believe is the real owner, said they didn't have my shirt but they knew where it was. They had given it to the wrong customer who was going to bring it in when they came to pick up another order. That apparently never happened. When I went in this week I had to deal with the rude man again. This time he said he thought they had my shirt - he brought out a short sleeve blue shirt. I told him my shirt was a long sleeve grey dress shirt. He tried to convince me I was wrong! I even showed him a photo of me in the shirt taken recently at a graduation ceremony. Again he says " Give me a week. I'll talk to one of my girls". I have zero confidence that this will ever be resolved to my satisfaction. I need to contact the BBB. I hope this review saves someone from a terrible situation. read more

To start off I have been coming here for 10 years and have slowly seen the decline. This last issue was the final straw. I brought in 3 fairly new suits all to be dry cleaned, they had no issue other than just needing to be freshened up. After receiving all 3 suits back home and taking them out of the bags, all 3 stank like mold. It was so bad it ruined the shirt I had in the closet next to them. I brought them back to see if they can fix the issue, which they tried to charge me for. Finally they agreed to fix them at no cost to me. I came back the next week and the suits were not cleaned, they were exactly how I left them and just as stinky. I was told to come back a 3rd time where yet again the suits still smelt like mold, the owner was unwilling to help and was even laughing as I expressed how upset I was that he ruined $1k worth of clothes. The owner offered nothing not even a refund for the dry cleaning. He even suggested that it was my nose that stank. I will never return to this business solely based off the owner being completely incompetent, I feel bad for the people that work for him. read more

They used some pretty cheap soap to launder my clothes. Also didn't crease the pants I had dry cleaned even though I specifically asked for that and was told, "sure that will be no problem." Clothes also had a weird smell when I picked them up. All together pretty sloppy and lazy work here. I appreciate cleaners who pay more attention to detail. If you are looking for a place I would actually recommend Fire Mountain Cleaners about 10 minutes down the road. Cheaper and higher quality clean. read more
