The employees in there aren't helpful and almost a bit rude as if I am not wanted there. The store is WAY too crowded that it's overwhelming. The selection also seems to have gone down hill when it comes to style, quality and price. It's a real shame because I love supporting local. We were greeted as we walked in the door and asked if it was our first time there. There are some vintage and antique items, but you're going to find much more used modern items, jewelry and accessories, and clothes than anything else. It's a standard antique mall with rows and rows of vendor booths. Country Fair Mall owns two buildings on the property which are strangely seperated by a second shop (The Cottage Antiques & Co). While The Cottage Antiques & Co is more upscale the two Country Fair Mall buildings are more my style. Most of the booths at Country Fair Mall are pretty plain and some require a little digging and rummaging. That depends on the vendor of course... Same with prices. Some are a little high, some are at market, and there are some great deals to be found too! Depending on the vendor... As far as I can tell there was only one staff member working in each building so if you needed a case opened you might have to wait if there was a line at the register... Both gentlemen were polite and easy to work with. Both my girlfriend and I walked out with purchases. My day was made when I found a Gold Medal dynamite box for under market price. These regularly go for $125+ online and I paid $35 (I think). A heckuva deal... I didn't even have to think twice about it! I collect stuff like that... Things might be a little dusty and more rustic than other shops... We had a great time walking through both buildings and shopping! We were there on the July 4th weekend and they were open on the holiday itself... More than anything else I guess... We were just really grateful they were open and we had something fun to do!
