It was so special to go there the day before the wedding with my maid of honor and bridesmaid to pick up my order of dried florals and then wander around the grounds to do some u-pick for the live flowers and greenery. We got to have a little "Stardew Valley" moment and it was so memorable. The flowers we got turned into the most beautiful bridal bouquet and stunning boutonnieres, I didn't have to spend a fortune on florals, and I couldn't be happier!

Charles Little and Company was founded in 1986, by Charles Little on 35 acres of nutrient rich soil along the Coast Fork of the Willamette River. Located at the foot of Mt.Pisgah in Eugene Oregon, our crops consist of foliage of all kinds; ornamental herbs, grasses and grains, unique sticks, pods and berries. A sizable part of our farm includes popular annual and perennial flowers such as larkspur, peonies, calla lilies, lavender. We have also devoted a majority of our acreage to woody shrubs and trees such as Viburnum, Ilex, Spirea, Weigela, Hydrangea, Cotinus, Lilac, Snowberry, Cornus, Eucalyptus, Specialty Conifers, Ornamental Cherries and Almonds. Our farm relies on the principles of regenerative agriculture to grow our rows and rows of lushly blooming fields.

We spent a few minutes browsing, and left with some fresh product and fun items. In particular, I bought an heirloom tomato which was orders-of-magnitude higher quality than what I can get at a mainstream grocery store. I used it to make some tomato sandwiches, and it delivered. I don't know where they sourced it, but I'd guess it may be a local farm. They also had some good quality bananas and other produce staples. The staff person who checked us out was friendly. It was the sort of store that I maybe wouldn't go to every day for family groceries (I'd guess a bit too expensive for my everyday tastes), but I would definitely stop in to browse and get some fun things every now and again.

Employees are always friendly and helpful. My favorite aspects about this store are the produce, it is always fresh. They carry my favorite brands of flour and coconut water. They are also dedicated to local business. I've seen products from Bob's Red Mill (a Portland area company), Block 15 (Corvallis), Marley's Monsters (Eugene), Umpqua Dairy (Roseburg), and fresh eggs from the Willamette Valley. I love how they support other small local business here. I stopped in with my husband last night to pick up some beer from Block 15, after we had been to Main Street Sweets, and we found everything we needed. Employee was super nice. Would I return? Yes! Repeatedly. This is a great local store not far from me, that is perfect.
