Stay away from this company. We used them for our new home build and specifically told them to stay…read moreaway from the protective hood from our underground propane tank. Repeated this several times and since it was very off to the side in an area no other sub contractors would be (given the ground wasn't level with the floor so you would have to literally boost yourself up to get back into the house) we didn't think this would be an issue. We were wrong. They ran over the propane tank and when we confronted them about it they were caught in several lies and ultimately just stopped responding. We just got an email from their attorney sending us a demand letter for the invoice we owe them. We're not paying that invoice until this is worked out as we have tire track proof and sworn testimony from our neighbors that they were the only ones down there- which again makes sense given nobody else but garage door installers would be down there as they wouldn't have an easy way in. Now I have to contact my attorney because they can't just be truthful and admit they were the ones who ran over the propane hood and it's now going to cost us over a grand to get it fixed. They are dishonest liars. STAY AWAY!

I just moved into a new construction home in Dripping Springs with a bunch of things I needed done for the house to feel like a home for me and the kids. I called around town for a reputable licensed electrician that does great work at a fair price. The priority was getting my Tesla wall charger plug installed right so my house doesn't burn down (only 1 charger station in Drip). Easy to book using their office line because I had other questions. Other places came for the quote prior to John at ATX and it was a total sales pitch making me feel like they were taking advantage of me, a single home owner. The rest cane in way over priced just for the tesla plug install. ATX office explained the fees and how the work. They could do the work same day as appointment if I wanted to move forward. John came early, texted prior. Put his booties on which I appreciate in a no-shoe home. We went around discussing options and costs and agreed on a list of work. He also let me know he needed to run to the store to get some additional parts for the work. Work contracted: 5 ceiling fan installs -(1 fan moved fm 1 location to another) -2 new fans in kids room -1 new fan in media room -1 new fan in downstairs living room -1new outside patio fan I bought fans at local home depot in case they were trash based on his suggestion. 1 new wall outlet for snack room for bev fridge 2 plugs added for tv mount so there are no cords hanging down 1 new model 3 tesla charging plug in the garage John worked cleanly and was super pleasant. Used drop cloths, brought his own vacuum. Took away the fan boxes and trash. He cleaned up after he went to each area and he had design and furniture placement in mind which was a super bonus! I definitely plan to hire him again. Honest, helpful, experienced and does good work at a fair licensed professional price. Thanks ATX Electrical Services for having such a valuable employee who is a local electrician that represents your company very well! Note: could have I youtubed the fan installs-maybe. Would I have prob electrocuted myself. Yup. Would It have taken all my patience for the year, loads of frustration and days of work to just do the fans. Probably. HUGE rave: David - D2 Garage Door…read more My garage door completely broke on me this evening around 6pm. It was a major break that was also a major expense and I was terrified of us having to replace the entire garage door from the damages. I called around, as my go-to guy (David) was out with his family and, unfortunately, I wasn't able to get anyone out. I reached out one more time to David, and he let me know he would come by after they got home. Guys, it was 9pm. He saved my ass. My garage door would NOT shut. No way, no how. The spring broke, and the top corners completely snapped (see pictures) from it trying to go down anyways. He came and spent over an hour working on it (while explaining it all to me and showing me what happened, and how he was fixing each individual issue). His fix, I know, will last and I feel so confident in that after seeing his work and the MUCH stronger parts that he replaced the broken ones with. Instead of me having to get a whole new garage door, he put metal braces where the top broke, on either side, to ensure it holds strong. The old spring was so tiny, they put it inside of the skinny metal bar (that David also replaced), and put this spring on. It's about 4x larger than the broken one, way more durable, and my garage is now quieter than it's ever been since my house was built in 2020. He is a prime example why it's important to support local small businesses and I'm beyond grateful to him (and his family!) for the help and time he chose to dedicate to my garage instead of being with his family, or getting much deserved sleep! I researched online to find an expert that could fix my floors. I felt comfortable with Jimmie based on his online profile. I mainly wanted someone who intended to do the floors himself. I needed a "floor whisperer." Jimmie returned my call the same day, bud the job on-site the day he said he would, started on time and finished one day early. You really can't beat that. I joined Jimmie on day two of the job where he showed me examples of a clear coat and a few different stains on my actual floor. After little thought, I agreed that stain would be crazy and that it was best to show off my floors. Now for the grand finale - my floors are EPIC!
