Very Disappointed in workmanship and crew. Crew kept changing daily. We were told two guys were hired off the street. They admitted they did know how to do the work. The foreman JD was not pleasant to work with. We never saw Mike or Stacy or Tim who was supposed to be in charge of the job. Meanwhile we were stuck in a hotel while I was recovering from heart transplant. Do not use this company! A year later and we are still having issues with the roof! read more

It's refreshing to find a company (referred to by my relator) that exceeds your expectations without personal interaction. My experience with River City Roofing has been impressive. A little background on this...I rarely, if ever, write reviews. I simply don't have the time to give an opinion but I feel like my story should be shared. I purchased a house and received a bid to repair and replace the roof that was 18 years old with water damage and mold. 1) my neighbors were upset that they had their roofs replaced last year for 14K more than what River City was able to do for me (50-year warranty on the product and 10 years on labor). 2) Repair and replacement were done in 24 hrs....even with rain. 3) the roof was brought up to code with extras. 4) when the mold treatment company was brought out for their services it was found that vents were never connected to flow outside (a previous issue with this house). At no fault of their own Tim sent his guys not once...but twice to make sure moisture wouldn't creep back into the attic by adding stem vents after the job was done. I'm pleased that my investment was treated with over-the-top professionalism and promptness. I'm also glad that my wife is very happy with the results and I never once had to be on site for anything. I made the mistake of switching my homeowners insurance with a roof that was fine but near (2-5 years away from) its useful life. I was forced to replace it by every insurance company I turned to. I did some research on the web and requested several quotes. Stacy from River City was the first to respond and was very flexible with matching my schedule to arrange a meeting. Stacy and her husband Mike came out to inspect and give me a quote. I explained my situation and they said they would see what they could do to help me out. I had a quote within 45 minutes. Several days passed and several companies later I ended up going with Stacy and Mike. I grew up in the construction industry and owned a commercial business with my father. I could tell they both had experience in the roofing industry and it was clear to me that this couple was determined to build a great company and was willing to put in the hard work to make that happen. Stacy and Mike made sure that no damage was done to our trees driveway or yard. Other than the beautiful new roof, you wouldn't even know they were there. The price was great, the work took less time than expected and Stacy showed up on site several times each day to make sure the job was done right. Stacy personally did the final inspection. She said she wasn't happy with the way a couple of small details looked so she called one of the workers to come back and fix it to her standard.
