Food: for asian food around methuen this i can say the best so far. I always have to go to lowell to get my asian fix. Sushi. The sushi it self not bad but the decoration thats different story. We sat on table that perfectly for 4 people. I ordered 3 types of original sushi, and 1 special chef roll. The sushi came in with gigantic 'tray'? That design with trees and pond and grass.... Where they put the sushi in. The special roll, on seperate elongated big plate. To be honest, its beautiful but we ran out of space for plates, drinks, our own plate and the chinese food on the table. If we get a bigger table thats would be awesome coz we can see everything but this? Service: its ok and not. Why? The servers are non verbal, our initial server was really good but then the owner talk to her a whole time we were there. We can see our server but they facing to other way. There a time we try to get her attention but she was too busy w her owner talking. And we have to grab a different server and they dont really happy about it. Ambiance: place is pretty clean, pretty organize. Its brand new establishment so the owner going around and greets the customer. Which is nice most table likes it. So i think i still will come back and try other stuffs again hopefully the rest of their foods are good so we can just do to go read more

Wish this place was better as there is a lack of good sit down Chinese restaurants in Methuen. The service and restaurant interior were good. The dining room was very loud due to poor acoustics. The Pan Asian/Fusion type restaurants try to do too much and nothing is great. There are sushi, Thai, and Polynesian and again nothing tasted authentic or good. Can't comment on the sushi as we didn't order any. read more

I am 80. I ordered by phone. I received the wrong item. I was so disappointed I didn't call them because I couldn't go back to the restaurant. the item we reciev d was not to our taste. We threw it away. I suspect the order taker deliberately selected something else because she informed me Kung Pow Chicken doesn't come with all white meat. I inform her that I always request it and they make it for me with an up charge. She also disagreed with my request for noodles with vegetables and replaced it with something else that had crispy things in it. I mentioned that I called because it was easier for me because of my age. The food was good but my favorite thing about the place was Melissa our bartender but I notice her supervisor Linda was very pushy on her ! I thought that was so unprofessional!! Linda was telling her what to do in front of us when Melissa had it all together and doing a great job ! Linda was getting in her way while she was doing drinks for her customers ! Zoe, our server, and the young man managing the place on Friday night were beyond exceptional in customer service this Friday night. The restaurant was very busy and a few of our orders were delayed a little bit. It happens! They made sure we were given apps and checked on us often to see if we were happy. The sushi was very good and I personally loved my chicken wings on the pu pu platter. Really, though, the care that was shown to us was what stood out and guarantees that we'll be back. Tried this place over the weekend. Used to be Jacksons. The remodel, in & out was very well done. They even put French doors all along the wall against the deck which should have been done when the deck was built. Ambience is nice but I came to eat. Big mistake. I had merlot which was good, pepper steak, uncooked peppers, and mystery meat that tried to be beef, & a thin brown sauce. Over all just sad. Tried one of my friends spring rolls. Rather than firm & crispy it was soft & saggy. I also had pork fried rice that was mostly tasteless but not cold. We split a fabulous frozen cream brulee topped with seasonal berries for dessert. It was excellent. I wonder where it came from. The bill was $84 w/tip & only 1 alcoholic beverage. The service was good but the food was mediocre at best. Too bad. If you could eat ambience & service they'd be all set. Oh well. read more

Went there twice last week. The food was fantastic, full of flavor and beautifully presented, However, the service felt very rushed both visits. Which took away from the over all dinng expereicne. I wish we had more time to savor each dish and enjoy ambiance. As we were eating (the first visit-middle) they brought us the bill and ask us if we want take out boxes. I explained we are still eating. Ten minutes later as we were still eating the gentleman came over to move are plates as we where eating Second visit was exactly the same and when I explained to the waitress that the food is fantastic but I feel rushed she giggles (she had a beautifuls smile). After counting down the days for this place to open, I was finally excited to visit! We made our inaugural visit on a busy Friday night. We were told that it would be about a 20-minute wait for four people which is surprising considering the amount of people that were in the lobby waiting. After we were seated, I ordered an espresso martini as well as some appetizers. We ordered the Crab Rangoon, the salt and pepper, chicken wings, and the spring rolls. For my entrée. I ordered the bento box with sesame chicken, fried rice, and California roll. The food tasted fresh, and I think it is a good value for what you get. Our server would come and check on us often, which is considerate due to how many people were in the restaurant. The restaurant has two levels, and we were seated in the first level towards the Merrimack River. I can't wait to come back during the summer to hopefully sit by the patio. read more

Then we waited, and waited. 30 minutes later one of our main dishes was delivered and we waited, and waited. And after ANOTHER 30 minutes the other main dish arrived! Decided to stop by this newish establishment tonight. Probably won't return. Several reasons made the visit less than memorable. First, the food was not very good. Hot and Sour soup was OK, but Spicy Szechan Chicken was bland, at best. Rice isn't included with the dishes, but costs an extra $4 for a small bowl. Service was not attentive, and seemed to spend more time gabbing with each other than paying attention to clients. To be clear, it wasn't a totally bad experience, just mediocre at best. There are worse places to get Asian food in the area, but there are also many other better choices as well. read more

Mama's Dumplings are the best I have ever had and I have been to China. Authentic and the filling is generous. Their ginger soy has a nice spark to it too. I can't put my finger on what they do differently than everyone else. I am not impressed with the General Gso's chicken. It seemed old like it was just reheated. We've brought our 6 month old both times and the staff has gone out of their way to say hi to her and make her smile. The food is tasty, the mai tais are strong, and I love the view. We got take out from here tonight and the food was terrible. the Pad Thai was very bland. There was no fish sauce at all and very scarce with ingredients. The Lo Mein was very dry as well. If you want good Chinese food, look somewhere else! read more
