Alright, we were staying at a friends house down the street and they suggested bowling! Cool, what…read morea great thing to do. My 3 year old is obsessed with bowling. We book a lane and are told it could be 30-45 minutes. Ok cool. I take my son into the arcade, my wife and our friends play some pool. My wife was intending to order food for my son because im sure the owner of this place understands, when you bring a 3 year old you only have a matter of time before they melt down. My wife tried to order a kids chicken finger meal. She was told "Childrens food can only be ordered at a table or at a bowling lane" WUT? Anyways my son wanted to see his mom after a while in the kid casino. We went out to the main area and an employee snapped her fingers at me and said "NO KIDS BY THE POOL TABLES" Uhhh wut? Every other pool table was occupied by very young teenagers. If you have "no minors" signs around the pool tables why do you allow young teenagers with no adult supervision to play? Bizarre that a bunch of people 35-40 with a 3 year old can't have a kid with them, but there can be 3-4 pool tables of minors. Anyways back to the kid casino until the lane was ready. The kid casino is pretty good and well priced. No complaints there. Lots of passive aggressive signs though. The lane was finally ready and we were permitted by the staff to order kids food. 20 minutes into bowling our lane died (and 3 other lanes adjacent). I went to tell the girl at the bowling counter. She told me "I don't know ask for help on the screen" so I did 15 minutes later they fixed our lane. The timer never stopped though. So over 1/4 of the time we paid for was wiped out. I again went back up to the counter. Asked for a 20 minute credit since the lane shut off. She told me "uhhh we don't do that I think" I asked another employee and she said she would ask someone. She didn't. It took almost a full hour for my 3 year Olds chicken tenders to come out and by the time they did it was almost time to go. Drink service was horrible. Service was pretty bad. Considering there was 6 adults. Food was good though. Crazy that you are not allowed to order a kids meal to be brought to your lane but you can order adult meals prior to be brought to your lane.. You physically have to be there at theblane with your kid to order a kids meal. There is no excuse for that type of business incompetence and out of touch behavior.

I went here with my wife, 10 month old son, and extended family over Christmas break on a day that…read moreSkiing conditions were less than desirable at Sunday River.Immediately upon walking into this business I was bombarded by one of the bartender/managers. His reasoning was because I had walked in with a Poland Spring water bottle. My wife and I both explained that the water bottle was for my son and to feed him formula. His response was coarse, ending with "I will speak to the owner and see if this is allowed", he did not get back to me following this. As someone who has visited the Sunday River/Bethel area for the past 20 years it was extremely upsetting to see how we were treated as patrons of this establishment. In total we had about 20 or so people there, more than willing to support this business via food, drink, and entertainment for the children. However the utter rudeness that this particular employee showed forced us to leave. This is upsetting to me because it is a great place for families to bring their kids regardless of the time of year. I suggest if they would like to keep their business operating I would fire that employee immediately. He is rude, disrespectful, and an embarrassment to the business.

I used to really like this place. It has a great selection of game, however the prices have gone up…read moreso much I can't really recommend it. It used to be really affordable, 20 bucks used to get so many points I couldn't use them all. But now the majority of machines cost over 10 points to use. The chicken tenders are SO good for no reason I swear they put crack in it. The staff are always friendly which is a plus. Games are crammed into this space and it's sensory hell for some people. It's so loud you have to yell for your friends to hear you.

Honestly, as bowling experiences go, this was by far one of the most horrendous playing experiences…read morethat I have ever taken part in. We were scammed out of our hour and I'm quite disappointed. I tried talking to the exceptionally large employee in the corner and he proceeded to shut me down and give me a dirty look. I don't know if it was because of my race or just his mood today, but I was honestly just deeply offended that he didn't give a minute or even make an attempt to address the situation. I will never be returning to this establishment. In fact, I will make it my life goal to ensure that this place will close down forever and never return to any mall. I am a serious bowler and you do not want to cross me. Take this is an opportunity to close up no. Before the storm arrives. You've been warned.
