He always loved rivers and lakes, so we searched ChatGPT and found J&M Cruise Lines. The online booking process was simple and we reserved our preferred departure time with ease. Although the weather was cool and drizzly, the directions guided us straight to the boat. Captain Jim met us on time and welcomed us with professionalism and warmth. It was thrilling to see how much the downtown riverfront has changed since we moved away in the late 1980s. The tour exceeded all our expectations and made us forget the less-than-ideal weather. We have one suggestion. It would help if J&M Cruise Lines provided dedicated parking for guests. Our tour began before the nearby garage opened for public parking and this made it difficult for those in our group with limited mobility to find close spots. Other than that, the experience was wonderful and Captain Jim is both an excellent captain and a knowledgeable guide. On our next visit to town, we will definitely book another cruise with J&M Cruise Lines. They are a real asset to Toledo tourism.

The boat was in the water, but the dock gate was locked. No staff ever showed up to open it, and despite calling multiple times, no one answered the phone. Everyone stood waiting until it became clear we were not going to be able to board. There was no email, call, or sign posted to explain what was happening. We are flying out tomorrow, so rescheduling isn't possible. We paid $180.15 for this cruise, and not only missed the experience we were looking forward to, but also wasted our time on what should have been a special evening. Very disappointing and unprofessional. I am requesting a full refund and hope J&M Cruise Lines improves their communication and reliability.

Ron was more interested in telling people how he was getting paid to teach people how to sail than actually teaching people how to sail. We really learned very little during the course about actual sailing. We did learn that Captain Ron likes going to expensive places for lunch and having his students pay the tab. We did not receive our Basic Cruising stickers for our logbook as they were out, and they never sent our info to US Sailing. I just found this out the other day. I emailed and called about a dozen times in the past year and still have nothing. Captain Ron also showed us how to destroy the navigation lights on his boat while pulling into a slip. Not sure I wanted to learn that. Overall it was a terrible experience.

They are OLD and I don't think any upgrades have been made in well over 50 years. It wouldn't take much to spruce them up a little bit. All things aside, the Detroit River still provides some amazing views. It's pretty amazing how close the boats get to hitting the Belle Isle bridge when they pass under it. As you're approaching, it looks as if the boat is going to hit the bridge. Makes for a bit of a thrill. From reading other reviews on here, it appears they do historical tours. I'd love to give one of these a try next summer!

A nice way to see the city and learn about the history of Cleveland. Informative and interesting. After the city views, the boat continues to cruise around in the lake, which is why this takes 2 hours. We started boarding around 2:30pm for a 3pm cruise. I would get there earlier to park in their lot. You can easily pay with credit card. Parking was around $14 for 2.5 hours. Perfect for a 2 hour cruise with a little buffer if you want to walk in the area for a bit after. The ship has three floors. The main floor you enter on is enclosed and has AC. On a hot afternoon, this was the place to be! Plenty of large windows to see the sights and large tables with chairs. I believe there is a ramp to enter onto the main floor. Making it accessible for wheelchairs too. Kid friendly as well. There is a canteen where you may purchase snacks. They allow you to bring a water bottle, but I believe no food unless you have medical reasons or it is for your child. We all got ice cream to enjoy during the cruise. Restrooms also on this floor. Take the stairs up (a little steep) and you'll be on level 2, which is open air. This floor has front seating, a bar area, and back area with tables and chairs. A nice option for those that want fresh air and prefer to be outside. I believe there is a third floor that is open as well. We did not venture further up as this was perfect. Staff was friendly. We had a 'good time' on the Goodtime 3!

He took me and a friend on a boat tour of several Lake Erie islands, including the one that is the southernmost point of Canada. It wasn't just a boat ride, though. Dean filled us in on ecological information and the history of the various islands, which includes pirates and the mob, among other things. He also knew where to go to spot pelicans and other beautiful birds. Dean made this a tour to remember.

A few views that made the outing a memorable one were: downtown's skyline, the flats, and an opening of the lake. Typically the boat will seat about 10 people and we had just a few less. Regardless, it was not an issue as they were extremely accommodating. There is a small convenient store next to the boarding location if you forgot to purchase any beverages before the adventure.

This is a 45 minute tour/ride and cost is $50 per adult and $45 for children up to age 10. This airboat is owned by a husband and wife. Definitely recommend to call ahead and schedule a ride time. There are a total of 6 seats available for passengers or if you don't mind sitting on ground you can add more. Each chair has a handle to hold onto to and noise cancelling headphones are provided as air boats are very loud. Definitely recommend bringing a spare set of clothes as you will get wet. What an absolute blast this was. You totally need to check it out next time you're in Sandusky. I felt like I was a rock gliding across the water. Man oh man was this totally worth the drive!!
