Today I went in to get a pedicure and a full set. They rushed through my toes and were done in less than 30 minutes, it looks rushed too but that doesn't matter compared to what this older guy did to my nails. He started my nails and we were off to a good note until he started to shape and file. My cuticles have never been hurt more by a nail tech before. He was filling my cuticles, drilled my cuticles, pushed them down with his finger nail to file my nail but it honestly was just a very very very painful process. I sat there and held my composure until he was done, I tried to think to myself "trust the process". But when it was over they looked just as bad as I figured they were going too. I told him I didn't like them and he proceeded to offer the nails to me for free, insisting I leave and only pay for my toes. I told him I had money and paying wasn't a problem, but I want my nails to look nice because I have something special going on. After realizing I wasn't going to take his offer he took off my nails. Not nicely either. As you can see, I have multiple cuts around my cuticles and my nails look absolutely horrendous. The acrylic isn't all the way off he just drilled it down. While drilling and filling it down he again went over my cuticles, cutting them in the process. I know he knew. I went to pay and tipped $20 because he did a lot of work and although I didn't like them, it's just the kind thing to do. So I tell him $20 tip and he giggles, such an as*****. It hurts A LOT, as you guys know hang nails don't play, they hurt bad. He gave me about 4 of them. Don't go here, there are too many nail salons to risk it. read more

My 13 year old daughter decided to get her nails done on a whim. I took her because it was near our house. They were able to fit us in as a walk-in. The technician did well but I was displeased that she had not cleaned up the cuticles even though we asked for a full set with mani. When I asked about it after the acrylic nails were done she said it would be extra. I decided to pay an extra $15 on top of the $70 I paid for the acrylics. She removed the cuticles in under 5 minutes. Over the we walked away a bit unhappy with the price and their service. I will not be returning. read more

I wasn't going to write a review but it's been a week and you can't even tell I had a pedicure so I just need to share. I went in for just a pedicure. It started fine but then the guy showed me a piece of my nail he cut off, almost like there was something wrong with it. He barely trimmed my cuticles and my nails aren't even filed straight. He truly did the bare minimum. Usually when I get a pedicure I sit in the chair until my nails are dry. This time, he opened up the chair right away so I would get up. There wasn't anyone waiting either and my toes got messed up as I was walking out... that wouldn't have happened if I was able to sit there a little longer. Overall, not a great experience. Excellent place. I'm from Arkansas, and needed my nails done while visiting three weeks in Bakersfield. The man that did my nails was great at conversation and did a good job with my nails. I thought he did great near the cuticles! My last guy stayed away from my cuticles, I guess because he didn't want to hurt me, but I like the color close to the cuticle! I was impressed. He even painted the top of my nail. It's nice to know a place I can go to here and trust it will be a good job! He was able to see me in a few minutes of being a walk-in. Went on a Saturday evening, waited about 5 minutes then was seated for my pedi. Pedicure was great, no complaints. However the mani with gel could've been a lot greater. Not only was the nail art not achieved (which she did not charge me for because it was very obvious it was a fail) they are now lifting not even a week later. I will not be returning for a manicure nor will I be recommending them. She said if it chipped to go back to get it fixed for free. I have come here several times with a subpar experience, and always give them another chance. The last time I was here, this older lady did my nails and while painting my toes, she kept wiping the sides of my toes with her own fingernail, instead of using an acetone dipped brush. I got an infection and had to get it drained at an urgent care. Came back again today because I was in a rush, and this was the closest place to my house. I always get stuck with this older lady doing my nails, and she is very rough with her tools and drill/ file, and today she made my cuticle bleed. I left mid way because it was such a frustrating experience. The whole manicure was painful, with her nails stabbing me while holding my hand. I spent more than $70 on a basic pedicure and manicure here today. Not coming back again. read more

I've given this business a fair chance I have there 4 times for pedicures & all the visit have been disappointing toe nails cut uneven, shaped oddly, this last time was the last straw forme, I got an infection on my toe from a cut they did to me while rushing to remove cuticles. I have been several times for gel pedicures, and it's hit or miss as to the outcome. I visited a week ago and had a gel mani and gel pedi. Both services were done at the same time. The pedicure was ok, however, I paid for one of the more expensive pedis and she didn't even massage my feet, she barely massaged my legs. As for the gel manicure, it started peeling and lifting after 4 days, not to mention bubbles. I paid extra to have a French tip polish. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the overall service I received especially for what I was charged. I have tried to patronize this salon as it is in my neighborhood, but unfortunately I'm going to go elsewhere in the future. read more

Horrible painful experience. My spa pedicure ended up with damage and pain to my toe. She trimmed my toenail on the side and down into the quick. I screamed from pain. Came here on a Saturday without an appointment and while there was a little bit of a wait, the comfy seats outside in the shade helped the passing time. They were quick to get me in a chair where I soaked my feet in warm water. The salon is elegant, very clean, and the aroma inside is lovely; not that harsh chemical smell you often get a whiff of. They have a lot of colors to choose from and though the pricing is a little higher for a gel pedi than other places, I was quick to learn that is because the add-ones you usually see are included in the basic package (heal/callus scrub, massage, etc). Love love love that they put white down as a base coat! Makes the color you select truly pop and take to its true hue. They are precise and cater to their customers; even if that means two workers (hands and feet) working at the same time on one person. I will be back! read more

Recently opened in a brand new building so everything is beautiful, clean and bright. My daughter and I booked a tandem appointment for pedicures, we were greeted immediately and asked to sign in. I watched them wiping down all the pedicure chair surfaces before they seated us. I also noted that they opened sealed, sterilized utensils and used brand new files. Cleanliness is important at a nail salon and they were meticulous about cleanliness standards. The young lady doing my pedicure was pleasant and efficient. They offered us each a bottle of cold water and were pleasant, and professional throughout. My daughter and I each had the classic pedicure and we were in and out of there in under an hour. I was looking for new nail places that were reasonably priced and had great service. I was able to make an appointment same day, when I arrived I was checked in and told to select a gel polish.
