My family and myself would not recommend River Oaks Outdoors professional services. Will is a friendly and receptive person, and we trusted him with our home, but we ran into issues from the very beginning of our backyard project; from communication issues between Will and his team, to lack of landscape knowledge/experience, and poor execution. After the River Oaks Outdoor team "completed" our project we found the job was not completed as laid out in the contract. Unfortunately, we were asked to pay more money to complete the project correctly, but could only afford to correct part of the yard. River Oaks Outdoor took no responsibility in proactively correcting their work and offered no apology for their cut corners. Its sad to say that we took a chance on a local company we thought were trustworthy and would value us as a client, but found only the opposite to be true. read more

Had a guy named Will Kraig come call me one morning from my Craigslist post about side work I needed. He said he had a sod job that he needed extra hands on and I agreed to work for that day. Worked then got left on the job, had one of his guys give me a ride, then was told he would pay me by that night and never showed call the next morning no answer so I had to call his boss and find out why they didn't want to pay up. My neighbor is their customer and the serviceman blew all of their leaves into my yard. When I asked the guy if he could please remove the leaves the service man got hostile and denied blowing any leaves in my yard even though it was blatant. Then he started yelling asking why I was disrespecting him which was confounding because all I did was ask him to remove the leaves he blew into my yard. I was not yelling at him just asking him and showing him the massive difference in leave litter in my yard from side to side yet he was yelling at me. Perplexed and dumbfounded I removed myself from the situation took pictures which the guy had smart alleck remarks about and called their office. The woman at the desk was nice enough, I let her know the situation and she said someone would call me back. It's been 3 days and This never happened, which shouldn't be surprising given the level of customer service their representative displayed for the neighborhood. You want your neighbors to dislike you use this service. read more
