Stopped by for lunch, ordered a cappuccino and an oatmeal raisin walnut cookie while waiting for our chicken sandwich. Both the cappuccino and cookie were so good, we just could not resist and finished the thing before our lunch. Had to go back and grabbed a couple of more. Place is pleasant, relaxing and clean. All the goodies in the show case looked really yummy. It is hard to resist the temptation....

River Rising has a great bakery and generally has several gluten-free options. Its a fun place to have coffee and a treat with friends.

This place continues to crush it!! I love coming to Missoula just to pick up one of these…read moresandwiches. You always get great service, a fresh product and attention to detail. You can see the care they put into these sandwiches. They dont throw on the toppings and hand you a mess. They actually take their time to build a sandwich that is balanced and delicious. I always get the Beach Boy, but the other sandwiches look great as well. I tired the pickel for the first time today. It was almost as big as my sandwich lol, and was juicy and delicious. If you head to this location, it's easier to park on the side of the road. Parking in front of the building is limited and can be a challenge to get out. Also, seating is located outside on the patio only.

I am currently addicted to the Sublime sandwich- burrata, prosciutto, hot soppresata, arugula, sun…read moredried tomato, pesto and garlic aioli - but I sub fresh tomatoes for the sun dried and do no pesto due to allergy. Anyway, it's extremely flavorful and all the ingredients taste high quality and fresh (especially the ciabatta it's on). Have had a few others but this is my favorite. They're also very accommodating about substitutions in general. Prices are reasonable and the sandwiches can easily stretch to two meals. No seating inside so lots of people chowing down sandwiches in their cars outside including me who can't wait 10 minutes to dig in.

Our waitress was very kind and helpful but it was the other waitress that came up to us and demanded documentation for our dog. Legally, you are not supposed to do that and gave us a lecture on our service dog, and how he was not well trained and not welcomed. For some reason, this whole county has a stigma and vendetta out for dogs. Again, legally you are NOT ALLOWED to ask for documentation at all. That was her first problem. I would like to also mention, our dog is an ESA AND a psychiatric service dog. When we mentioned he was a service animal and and ESA she cut us off and said "ESA is not considered a service dog" which we know. She did not let us finish and instead of allowing us to explain, which legally we do not have too, she told us to remove our dog. I have never felt the way she made us feel in there. I hope y'all train your staff better because under ADA we could of filed a lawsuit. Our dog is well trained, well behaved, and is a service dog. We felt unwelcomed and we left.
