Exactly what we were looking for, and then some! Local art on the walls were pleasant, the couches and chairs were exceptionally comfy. Our drinks were delicious. My watermelon popsicle was literally blended frozen watermelon puree, which was exactly what I had hoped for. If there's anything I'd cut off a slice of this review over, it's the menu. The specialty drinks have cute names, but zero descriptions, whatsoever. Meaning that you'll risk feeling that oh-so pleasant eye roll from the customers in line, behind you, as you have to ask about what is inside the "polar bear" or "honey badger" lattes. I took a shot in the dark and ordered the latter. It's fantastic, as mentioned, but I basically chose at random, to avoid inconveniencing the other patrons. I have nothing but positive things to say about River Road. I drive out of my way each week to grab a latte before going to work -- their product is just too delicious. I enjoy their autumn spice latte (seasonal) and their honey lattes/cap. The owner and her baristas are very friendly and warm, and the shop provides plenty of comfortable seating so you can spend hours there working, reading or catching up with loved ones. And of course, the gourmet popsicles are delicious -- the cereal milk pops are my favorite! All the art & the merchandise are available for purchase and made by local artisans, and their products are locally-sourced as well. I love supporting those who support their community! This place has a kid's corner (or what appears to be a kids corner). It has a children's table and a tub full of children's books set up in the back of the shop. Several moms and I went with our kids to enjoy some coffee and popsicles. During our visit, we were confronted by an employee. He said, "I just need you to know you're being really loud back here". There were no kids running around the shop, they were contained in the back room that looks like it was designed for kids. Frankly, we were having a great time reading the kid's books and watching our kids enjoying themselves. One mom asked the employee, "What do you want us to do?" And he responded with, "We've had complaints - people like to study". I then asked, "Are you kicking us out?" He didn't really respond. He didn't provide any remedy that he wanted. He just came to "let us know" and then walked away. I shared my experience on social media and instead of responding to me directly, apologizing or providing an explanation, they blocked me completely. I guess the combined money of 6 moms and their kids (who have frequented enough to have punch cards) doesn't spend the same as one or two people complaining about children who laugh while eating popsicles. If you're looking for a family friendly environment, this is NOT a spot I would visit. ADDITION AFTER OWNER RESPONSE: you are correct in that you were not there. There was no "banging" or "moving of furniture". I don't appreciate the insinuation. your furniture was left exactly how it was found. In addition, there was no kindness from the staff. I appreciate you sticking by your employees, however they were not nice in delivery. I would have happily amended my social media post or even removed it completely with a simple apology from you, but your response just proves that there is no room for discussion or grace from your business. read more

When you're visiting a town for the first time, looking for a spot to kill some time at, and see "Coffee and Popsicles" come up in Yelp, you go straight there. I was in town with family and looking for a coffee stop, and we stumbled into this gem! The space is great--super cozy but stylish, really comfy mismatched furniture (and they were CLEAN! this is so key--sometimes the vintage vibe places don't do a great job keeping the furniture clean), and there are more rooms than I realized upon first entering.. a number of nooks off to the side and in the back, making the space much larger than it seems. The coffee is great, there are some cute local artisan things such as jewelry for sale, and the wifi is fast. Aaaand there are homemade popsicles! Aaaaand these include boozey popsicles! I tried a grapefruit IPA and my cousin had a guiness float, and both were super fun. Stop in here if you get the chance! read more

Cute coffee shop/selling popsicles/little store selling handmade goods. Went on a Saturday morning around 9:30 and not busy, got waited on immediately. Parking spots right out front on street, 2 little tables out front to sit and plenty of seating options inside. Ordered a chai tea latte hot and a pumpkin muffin. The latte was good ( confused cause i had to add sweetner and a shot of vanilla) never been asked that before at coffee shop, anyway. The muffin had no taste except for the chocolate chips that was in it (and no I don't have covid) it was just no flavor. We bought some stickers ($5 each YIKES) as souvenirs. Two stars is kind of generous. I'm giving two because I didn't try the popsicles but they are NOT the popsicles you'll see on the website. Anyway, the coffee was just OK. Middle of the road. I got a muffin that was so dry I couldn't even force myself through it. It was like eating sawdust. I showed it to the clerk because it was $4 and I got two. (One for my wife.) She didn't offer a refund and just gave me an equally dry replacement muffin which I tried to eat and then just threw out. So we left an iced latte that my daughter wouldn't drink and threw out two muffins. When we were almost to the door, the clerk rather forcefully told us to turn around and go get our dishes and bring them to her. So, I wasn't impressed with the product OR the service. There is a lot better coffee shop just down the street in the village. read more

This place is probably the cutest place in town for coffee. Honestly has the best vibe inside. I absolutely love the painted walls and all of the work you can buy from the local vendors. Stuff is usually rotated out too so it's always new stuff that you can buy. It's pretty cool and unique. This is gonna sound so funny or crazy because I'm not a coffee person but I still go here anyways, forcing myself to drink it. So I'm not gonna rate the coffee because I probably won't rate it what it actually deserves. I will say there's a lot of flavor and it's really cool that you can always get different drinks for the holidays and the staff is really nice and will always explain what it is if you have questions. We live 5 minutes away and had never taken the time to stop by for a coffee, well now we're very happy we did, and will be going back again and again! Their cortado was as good as we used to drink in Spain and perfectly presented. The huge scone was dense and very good too! We'll have to come back to try the popsicles! Recently discovered this place. From the outside it looks smaller, but it's got all sorts of seating, different rooms, and so on. Super into the aesthetic and relaxed environment. Honestly have been hoping a place like this in this area would open. I just went with a pour over using the Peru roast. I have to say it's pretty good and was fairly priced. Staff was super nice and answered any questions I had. I'll have to come back and try some of their popsicles (a lot are dairy free and/or sugar free too which is great). Let me start by saying it's a really cute, comfy coffee and snack place that's in a great location near Cocoa Village and is family friendly. It's a winning combination for sure. I have heard the popcicles are great and selling works by local artists is such a nice touch for the community to get away from the corporate Starbucks mentality. BUT, the coffee was *WAY* over priced. I asked for a 12 oz tall and was charged 50 cents more than the board listed 2.40 for a tall sized (small) Americano. PLUS another .25 cents for cream, plus 18% (the lowest option offered) gratuity (was there an option NOT to leave a tip? I didn't see it. Plus Florida state sales tax? on food and beverage? Yeah I know they can, but it just adds to the sting, right?. 3.88 for a small coffee. I work in the village and had just forgotten to bring my coffee that day. Can anyone recommend another place to get good coffee between 5-7 p.m. without having to drive to Wawa?. Ossorios in the Village was closed. I'm glad RRC&P are doing so well after 3 years, but I probably won't return. read more

I couldn't be happier to welcome this place to Cocoa Village! It's a bit off the beaten path at the moment (re: foot traffic), but that will quickly change once the development of The Cottages at Cocoa Village is complete. Inside? The space gives off a fresh, farmhouse vibe.... It's a lot like Bold Cup Coffee in Viera, but with siloed rooms perfect for those who want privacy. As someone who works from home, I'm looking forward to leveraging this place as a second office. The only criticism I have is about the false wall blocking the front window. Although it adds to the decor, it prevents natural light from filling the space and passersby from getting a glimpse at how lively it is inside! There must've been 20+ people there when I arrived, but from the street, it looked DEAD. To be fair, I haven't tried the coffee yet, but the dairy-free, sugar-free (thank you) matcha popsicle I shared with my son was killer! We'll be making this our go-to coffee spot. read more

I love supporting local businesses. When this coffee/popsicle shop first opened before the pandemic I went a handful of times. I would met friends here so I could introduce people to the new business. I just visited this past week and while I really liked the fun, new menu of drinks, what I did not find pleasing was the price and up charges that they do not list or mention when you order. I don't know of very many people who get their drinks with regular milk anymore when there are so many great non-dairy options. I ordered a honey bee latte and the barista said "oh I love this drink with Oatmilk". So I thought, yes, I would like to try that. I was never told there was an up charge or how much. I paid $7.12 for a medium (grande) drink plus the dollar tip I left. I can't really afford to spend $8.00 on a espresso based oat milk drink on a regular basis. I can't think of many people I know who can spend that. I really think they need to consider where they are located, we are not a big city with high paying jobs. There were 4 employees behind the counter and the owner was chatting with a customer in the shop. Only one person made my drink so I am not sure if the drinks are so expensive to pay for all the employees. I will say the espresso flavor and quality of the drink was excellent. I guess this place will have to be a treat for me and I will have to ask in the future what the up charges are. My suggestion to the owner is not to UP-charge for different dairy options. Last time I went to the store the milk was the same price as the almond milk, oat milk and coconut milks. It's not like half and half, cream, and milk are cheaper unless they are buying organic dairy - which would be nice at these prices. At least they should offer one non-dairy as a substitute for milk not an upcharge. I know a lot of people who are lactose intolerant and doesn't seem fair to have to pay more for your drink because you can't tolerate milk. read more

What a neat new coffee house in Cocoa Village! This place just opened, but it was run like it had been operating for years. I had a salted caramel mocha iced latte & matcha popsicle. The latte was well prepared the way I like it (balance of coffee flavor & not too sweet) & the coffee was the best I've had in the area. The popsicle was homemade and recommend trying one of the several flavors they offer. The atmosphere was casual, warm, & welcoming. This is a must try if in the area! read more
