From start to finish, their professionalism, creativity, and organization were evident. The food was excellent--well-prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Service was organized and efficient, and everything flowed smoothly throughout the evening. Our guests consistently commented on how much they enjoyed the meal. What stood out early on was the tasting experience. It was not simply a presentation of menu items; it was a true collaboration. The team took time to discuss our vision for the event, the audience we were expecting, and what would best fit a corporate milestone celebration. They offered thoughtful ideas and guidance while remaining open to our input. The process felt like a partnership built on trust in their expertise and experience. One of the most impressive aspects was how they executed the décor around the catering displays. We shared general concepts tied to our industry and company identity, but we did not provide rigid instructions. Honeysuckle took that direction and elevated it beyond expectations. The incorporation of industrial elements--bolts, metal plate accents, and tools reflective of our fabrication and welding background--was creative, tasteful, and perfectly aligned with Dutchy Enterprises' brand. It was a complete and welcome surprise to see our company identity brought to life so thoughtfully in the food presentation itself. We are very grateful for the care, competence, and initiative Honeysuckle Catering brought to our event. They delivered not only exceptional food, but a cohesive and memorable experience that reflected who we are as a company.

The vegetables were very overcooked and the Mac & cheese had no flavor and was also overcooked. I would have given them 2 stars but they got an extra star for pepper vinegar. The service was super quick and friendly. The wait wasn't too long. It's a standard place with tables - no booths.

It's also one of my favorite places to bring the family. My kids absolutely love the cheesy grits, and the welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere makes dining here easy and enjoyable. The Corn Chowder was probably my favorite, and the Rock Shrimp was of course a strong option. I also had the stuffed flounder. It was solid, but the corn chowder stole the show. -Caesar Salad: 3.5/5 -Shrimp and Sausage Corn Chowder: 5/5 -Rock Shrimp: 4/5 -Stuffed Flounder: 4/5 Service: 5/5 The service was excellent! Fast, curious, light-hearted, anticipatory, and the server helped us successfully peel and eat the rock shrimp. Even the hostesses were pleasant. Atmosphere: 3/5 We were seated in an inside area, not close to the window. So, it felt a little dreary with the lighting. Nothing negative, but I perceived it to be an average atmosphere. Value: 4/5 Really good value. The food was affordable to almost cheap on some items. I was very pleased with the pricing. The food was seasoned, the portion size was nice, and again, the service was great. It was also a nice nostalgic experience for me. Opportunities for Learning: 4/5 The Dixie Crossroads has been around for decades. And the founders are pioneers in the peeling of rock shrimp, particularly in FL, so the restaurant story is amazing. Additionally, with the variety of seafood, there's much to discover and learn about the menu, rock shrimp, and the founding family's story.

From the first bite, the flavors hit perfectly. The meats were seasoned and cooked just right, layered with fresh toppings that brought balance and texture to every mouthful. There's a richness to it, but it never feels overwhelming--just straight-up satisfying comfort food done right. Now, I'll be honest--the bread was slightly on the soggy side. But here's the thing... it didn't take away from the experience. If anything, it soaked up all that flavor, and once you leaned into it, it worked. Every bite still delivered. Pairing it with a Coco Rico? That was the move. The coconut sweetness cut through the savory flavors of the sandwich perfectly--it's one of those combinations you don't realize you need until you try it. Even though I ordered pickup, the experience still stood out. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and gave off that genuine "you're family here" vibe that you can't fake. 10/10--absolutely recommend.
