What they did this year is everyone bought tickets and they did a lottery system to see who could possibly attend. They only allowed about 1,500 people into the venue and they normally allow around 5,000 people. This was great and made it pretty easy to social distance from the crowds. They also provided every person a bandanna face covering to wear while at the rodeo which was super nice touch! I also noticed tons of cleaning going on during the rodeo by staff members. They were wiping down hand rails and high touch points to make it even safer for guests. Also, upon entrance every person had their temperature taken to make sure they didn't have a fever. This Rodeo did it right and make sure everyone had a safe and enjoyable time! Once inside the rodeo they had several food trucks serving some delicious eats. My family took advantage of the bbq food truck to get burgers and ribs and the Hot dog food truck to get nachos and hot dogs! The food was a little expensive, but it was well worth it. I loved the rodeo. But there are a few sports that happen that really look painful to the animal. It may not be painful, but it sure looked that way. The Cows run out and the horse follows them and a guy rope ties their neck hoping they fall over, but if they don't flips them on the side and ties their feat. I mean kinda crazy, but I understand this is what was done in the West so people could get their cattle back. Just an interesting sport. Overall though all the other competitions were pretty cool. My favorite was the bull riding! It was so much fun and the bulls seemed crazy tough! Overall I am glad I got to go to the Oakley Rodeo. I am glad they had fireworks after the rodeo and we got to celebrate the 4th of July with family and friends in a fun safe setting. I would highly recommend this!

By the end of the class, the instructor had explained everything so clearly and encouragingly that he was genuinely proud of his finished piece. It was such a confidence-boosting experience, and we both had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!

We spent most of the time in the van and when we did stop at the locations, we weren't able to go inside to tour any of them or even use a bathroom at them, we just stood in the driveways to learn about them. I admire her passion for teaching, but we cannot for the life of us figure out how our $3000 was spent. The wine was limited to an ounce every time, and whenever we asked for a second "glass" the lady pouring would say "well we want to make sure everyone gets some!" - the "snacks" were two tiny pieces of cheese inside of a ziplock baggie and there is no place to use any restroom throughout the course of the entire tour... mainly because the tour takes place only in a van and standing in driveways. For $3000, a nice suggestion would've been a charcuterie spread INSIDE of one of the locations with some tastings and every person at that price should at the very least have been able to go home with a bottle of wine from the tour. I give her credit for starting up a creative business in an extremely competitive tourist city, but I can't in good faith allow anyone else to pay so much money to go into this expecting a luxury experience, and end up getting yelled at by a bus driver and having to sneak around an old hospital just to pee. I really liked her as a person and hope she can take this advice and use it to work on creating a better experience for all.

Summit wagon and sleigh First of all, I have to admit that…read morethis was a surprise engagement for me so I wasn't involved in the planning process. However, my fiancé did say that it was a seamless process! The owner's wife even purchased a huge bouquet of roses and hid them in the sleigh and everything! The owners children even tagged along to make sure we got plenty of cell phone pictures and videos, which was greatly appreciated! Their land is stunningly beautiful and so peaceful under the moonlit sky with pen that of stars to see under the mountains! We followed the creek and ended at a cute nativity scene area where the horses could rest and we could warm our hands by the fire. Everyone was involved in the proposal and I didn't even realize it was happening but all of a sudden I had roses in my hand and my boyfriend on his knee! It was such a special moment and we had a blast talking with the family during the ride over to the creek! If you are looking for a PRIVATE family sleigh ride or a great place to propose or just enjoy the winter in utah, you have to give them a call and get your rides setup! i can't recommend them enough!!

This white man does Motown proud! He's a "Filet of Soul," baby! All these Saturday concerts are free, with beer on sale to enjoy at the concert. Or, if you want liquor or wine, take five minutes out and sidle up to the bar at The Farm and order what you want. Drink fast, and find your chair on the lawn in front of the stage. There's great sight lines and good acoustics. However, besides the great performers, what makes this concert series fabulous is the crowd. Fun, attractive, outgoing, and friendly as hell, the Park City audience makes SLC seem like a different country. This is not an uptight crowd. People were dancing, imbibing, laughing out loud, and actually dragging strangers out to dance. The exuberance was palatable. I have never seen a crowd of people in SLC as openly free spirited as the folks in Park City. What a cool breeze of mountain air. I have been told on countless occasions that I would be happier living in Park City rather than in Salt Lake City. Now, I must agree. It's going to cost a fortune, and the commute in winter will be treacherous. Life is short however. It's PC or back to the East Coast. Boys just want to have fun!

As far as music festivals go, I'd say Bonanza Campout is about 85% percent "there."…read moreThe venue was really the determining factor for the entire thing--though it appears small on the map, overall there was an acceptable amount of room for the amount of people that attended. There weren't many, and hearing from other people's experiences, it seems that buying a ticket last minute for this was the way to go because the festival seemed to be giving them away as the date came closer: schools, radio stations, other concerts, and certain businesses had either free tickets or generous discounts. On the first day after opening, the population of the whole place was probably about 90. Over the weekend, more people seemed to show up despite bad weather. There were not many places to escape the rain on the second day, and being told that we could not return to our cars after 6 pm did not really help. The tables used for the RV spots were moved into the middle of the park so there were some places to sit, and water was very easily accessible...even though the website states that everyone is allowed "water up to 20 oz if it's factory sealed or in a reusable bottle" they wanted any outside liquids thrown away. There was a surprisingly great selection of food, from trucks to stands, and the prices were decent. Portapotties were definitely available. I don't know if I would call this a very family-friendly environment, with such a small area, all of the smoking and drinking kind of converges at once. Parking was horrible if you didn't arrive early. By the end of the night, there were cars literally parked a mile from the site. It is a two lane road and the only parking is on the very weedy side--and due to the lack of space, they were telling people to double park. They were charging $5 for parking, but I would definitely argue that once the cars are extending past the RV park property, the can no longer ask for a fee...it's not their property to charge for. Music, Art, Camping: The price overall was justified by some key (and quite impressive) performances. Other than Cold War Kids, Jamie N Commons, Secret Weapons, Doe, Milo Greene, and Jr. Jr. seemed to really give a good balance to some of the more electronically-based bands. On that note, the festival had numerous music quality issues: the audio was at least partially lost on quite a few performances, and on the second day the music was cranked up so loudly it become almost unbearable. This was especially annoying as the close proximity of the Shade Stage and the Bonanza Stage become a lot more obvious with all of the sound bleed. For the most part, the organizers were great at staying on schedule so there wasn't a whole lot of music-less time. This festival was not really art-centric at all--the main art attractions were a few (very impressive) vendors, a tree full of umbrellas (?), and an art piece sponsored by Skullcandy. This was slightly disappointing, because the entire area has a lot of potential as far as space and involvement with festival goers. We did not elect to do the camping, and I'm glad we didn't--a lot of the claims the festival made as far as amenities ("bathrooms" = portapotties, despite actual bathrooms in the main building... "fenced in area for campers only" = listing to a crazy amount of people and cars try to exit in the night because they are parked right next to you...) were stretches, and if you really wanted to camp, you could do it down the road, without paying a thing. The last 15% this festival is missing might include a better parking situation, more space, increased vendors, better sound quality, more art, and, likely, better hype. The lack of people was blaringly obvious, but overall, everybody in my group had a good time. And most importantly, despite all of the issues, Bonanza did pretty well by compensating with an impressively large variety of music.

Impressive view, Park City ski resort in the background set the stage for a phenomenal backdrop. After a champagne toast on the deck, the meal was served buffet style comprised of a fantastic assortment of seafood, meats and pastas served at three separate stations. An amazing band rocked the party all night and handcrafted cocktails were poured at an open bar. This facility is a member-owned private golf and social club, so if you're lucky enough to be invited as a guest, you will certainly have a wonderful experience. Salute!
