After trying multiple tire shops that could/would not help, I was discouraged & reluctant to hit the freeway fearing a blow out. I drove by an auto repair shop on El Cajon Blvd. They were open so I drove in and asked the 1st gentleman I saw, Chris, if he could help me. With a quick smile, he said yes, then guided me into a bay. In no time, tire pressures were fixed and warning light off. In these times often filled with bad news, this young man brought kindness & compassion: remedying my distress. My relief and gratitude him for are profound. As l drove away, l saw FIX Auto posted on the building and smiled. I've been a FAN of this brand for some time. My experiences with the Oceanside shop have also been worthy of 5 With this experience, I've found a shop close to home. This place does garbage work and their "warranty" is a joke…read more I have a 2025 Honda Civic Sport Touring Hybrid that was in an accident, damaging the entire drivers side of the car. Fix Auto North Park gave the estimate, Geico approved it and recommended this shop so I agreed to let them do the repairs, ended up being over $15k in damages. Turns out, this was a Huge Mistake! At first, everything sounded great, Arlene was providing regular updates, the repair was moving along. The day it was "ready" for pickup felt a little rushed, they were trying to get it back from being aligned across the street before they closed, but they did get it back, called and I picked it up. When I got there, the car looked great, the only thing I could see that was an issue was with one of the headlights, it looked dimmer than the other and the high beam didn't appear to come on. They said they'd order a new bulb and install it next week but I could take the car now. They said the work was guaranteed for as long as we own the car. I drove it home. After the 15 min drive home, I noticed it pulled to the right a hair and when I got out, the door had a "pop" to it, like it was under tension. It made me check the work again. During the drive home the door and fender had shifted and they even left one of their shop tires in the trunk. I called and texted them pictures immediately but they were already gone for the weekend. I called first thing Monday morning, sent them pictures again, and they scheduled me to come back in a week. During the weeks time, the door/panel continued to shift to the point where the door was pinching the panel and when you open the door, the quarter panel pushes in. When I brought it back, the manager took the shop tire from the trunk, apologized and said "we'll take care of it". The next day, I get a call from the shop asking if it was hit again because of the fender damage. I explained everything again and he said ok. I didn't hear anything for a couple weeks so I called the shop. They said Geico wouldn't approve the fix and they would be "willing to go half with me". After I basically said that it would be a cold day in hell before I give them another penny, he said he would have the manager call first thing in the morning. I also gave Geico an ear full, but according to Geico, they never denied the claim but it should be covered by the shop under warranty. It had sat there 2 weeks and nothing was done. Geico said they would understand if I wanted to take it somewhere else. I tried the dealer (should have taken it there first) but Mossy Collision won't touch it since Fix Auto botched the repair. Before the accident (that wasn't even my fault) I had a perfect new car, I just wanted it fixed or totaled if it couldn't be repaired back to the way it was. Now after 3 months I'm still trying to get the car repaired because Fix Auto couldn't do it right the first time. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!
