I went here for my car repair and had such a smooth and great experience. When I first went, there was a guy at the front desk who was so nice and patiently answered all my questions and explained the process to me. Then I got assigned a service advisor Taylor who was wonderful to work with- he was very nice, respectful, courteous and answered all my questions well. I could tell they knew what they were doing. He kept me updated on the status of my car repair and they got it done ahead of schedule and the work was spectacular! Really high quality work which I was pleased by! It was also very convenient how they picked me up for my car rental and I just dropped it off at SE collision center when I didn't need it anymore and they took care of the return. This company has the worse communication. I let them know I had a fleet vehicle and not once they mentioned I had a deductible. I communicated with them several times and when is time for me to pick up my car they charge me 1k even though I didn't have to pay but they failed to Communicate to me. SCAM! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! THE WORST BODY SHOP IN SAN DIEGO! DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR POSITIVE REVIEWS! Someone crashed on the left side of my Acura 2013 and I had filed a claim with AAA to get it fixed with the understanding that the front bumper and headlight would be replaced. Taylor did my assesment and DID NOT INCLUDE DAMAGES MADE TO THE HEADLIGHT even though I repeatedly pointed it out to him. He did not even let me know what his assessment was.The estimate stated that it would be done in 5 days. I leave my car in their shop for 2 weeks since I was going to be out of town. 2 weeks later I call and was told that the receptionist would call back in 30 minutes. NO CALLBACK AT ALL FROM THEIR RECEPTIONIST. I call them 2 hours later and they said my car still needs paint so it will be ready at 4pm. REALLY? I had my car in their shop for more than 2 weeks and still DID NOT have it ready. Then looking at my car I find out they didn't replace my headlight because their assessment person Taylor did not put in that my headlight was needing replacement! I talk to Steven who said they were going to sort it out AS HIS TECHNITIAN BERATES ME ABOUT HOW THE DAMAGE WASN't DONE TO THE LIGHT when it clearly was! He called my insurance rep and they said my deductible was waived as I had said multiple times. 2 days later I call and they tell me they are not able to replace my headlight as it wasn't part of the note that AAA wrote that it needed to be fixed. REALLY? When it was Taylor who didn't even note it in his assessment when I explicitly told him I would need the headlight fixed! The receptionist then stated that I would need to call my rep to have my copay covered! REALLY? Steven already called my insurance and had this cleared 2 days ago! I got back and forth with them and finally they tell me my insurance did waive my deductable, WHICH WAS ALREADY SORTED OUT 2 days ago! She also tells me it's not their fault since Taylor wasn't there when they fixed my car. Really? That wasn't under my control either! And the receptionist started saying it was. We go back and forth and she said I would need to call my insurance rep to have it cleared out. I was LIVID from dealing with this scam business. 2 DAYS AGO STEVEN ALREADY CALLED MY INSURANCE REP AND SAID THE SHOP WOULD FIGURE IT OUT! I call my insurance rep and THEY ARE CONFUSED AS TO WHY THIS SHOP DID NOT REPLACE THE HEADLIGHT EVEN THOUGH THEY ALREADY MADE A NOTE! My rep told me she would add specifically the headlight to the note even though she already said to replace the front driver's side. There is no way I would deal with this scam body shop ever again so I requested a different one. Beware! These people are shady scam artists! DO NOT BELIEVE THE POSITIVE REVIEWS! They also gave me someone else's paperwork estimate and warranty for their work on a Jaguar. I've had more than one experience with body shops and I can say with full confidence, that they're number 1 in my book. Our daughter's car was rear ended 5 days before Christmas. It will require extensive repair to be returned to safe travel. My daughter's Insurance Carrier referred My wife and I to SE Collision Center for repairs. Upon our first visit, Ms Stephanie greeted us with a smile, looked up our claim and called for an estimator. Mr. Steven approached us, greeted us and asked all the pertinent questions to get our repair Claim started. He performed our estimate, discussed issues with our Insurance representative, took photos of auto damage and initiated the paperwork to process repair. Our initial visit was good. This shop is hands down the best body shop I have ever dealt with. From customer service to their work on my car, they're the first and only place I'd take my car for work in San Diego. I was in an accident with my brand new 2016 Prius in which I thought the car was toast. I wish I'd taken a before and after photo because is was so busted. Fluids leaking, both front and rear bumpers gone, the things looked like it was bound for the scrap yard. My insurance Company sent me here to SE collision. After having it towed there I would basically just waiting on the call to get the bad news saying up my car was done for. However to my surprise, in a relatively short amount of time, with outstanding communication from Mike and Ellie, it looks like it does here in the picture now. Brand-new, and it drives the same. I've had it for a month now and it's like the accident never happened. Relieve these guys made a absolute nightmare go away for me and I am beyond grateful. I have had my vehicle repaired several times at this shop. The first two trips in seemed to be good to go (but now I wonder). This time I found they had sprayed paint over door dings without filling and feathering the chips because "they weren't paid to fix those chips." My take on that is once you spray paint on them you have taken responsibility for seeing the job is done right. Complaining they fixed the chips. When I came to get the vehicle a couple of days later I noticed the front bumper they had painted was a different shade of red. What they had done was forgot to put the metallic flakes in the red paint. Again they fixed the problem, after a few more days. This time when I went to get the vehicle they were downright rude. I soon noticed there were scratches on the side of the car that were not previously there. And the area near the chips I had complained about had scratches as well. The 3 month old convertible top had a large silver looking spot and a thin line all the way across the material above the rear window. It bothered me for several days as to what this was on my new top. Then I finally figured it out, it was over-spray from the sloppy workmanship. I have called my insurance company and filed a complaint. I returned to them because I thought they were they had integrity, and I trusted them, but my trust is gone, and I would not recommend them to anybody, friend or foe. read more

Angel handled my repairs and got my insurance company to agree to a proper estimate, as opposed to other shops that just didn't care to look out for their customers. I've had a couple of parts painted through SE in the past 3 years. One item was an aftermarket fiberglass rear bumper and the other item(s) were a pair of OEM S2000 fenders. SE did an amazing job on the rear bumper. I brought them my gas tank lid and they matched the 8 year old Honda Berlina Black paint perfectly. SE isn't the cheapest, but they worked with my budget and did a great job!!! Since i painted the bumper, i had other cheaper shops paint other parts of mine and they didn't even bother to match my gas lid that i left with them, only used the OEM paint code so the paint didn't match. So i decided to NOT go cheap and go back to SE when i needed my fenders painted. If you've seen S2000 fenders, they are huge and i would not want mismatched fenders on my car. So i opted to have SE paint it (travelled all the way from Orange County to San Diego to get this done!!!). This time i left them my original OEM fenders to match the other OEM fenders i wanted them to paint and, of course, they matched them perfectly. I learned my lesson and i'm only going back to SE to have my parts painted! read more

Got into a wreck in Aug. thought the dude that hit me totaled my baby. Well lucky for him it didn't. Had it towed to SE and they gave me good news. My Scion FR-S was salvageable. The left door, left quarter panel and the front bumper, frame and hood had to be replaced and straightened. She was fixed in 17 days. Brand new. Manuel and the boys did an outstanding job!!! Kept me in the loop as to the progress of my repair. Had a few hiccups with their parts supplier but Manuel personally straightened it out. Lifetime guarantee for all repairs. I had to put that to the test. My left front turn signal was not working. Took it in after work and after 10 minutes viola!!! Fixed. Good as new. No charge. A DISHONEST man runs this body shop. DO NOT DO YOUR BUSINESS HERE, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. I was almost DUPED into paying $250 for these clowns to give me an unnecessary brake pad replacement. Here is what happened. I had a leak in my tire and took it here to get it replaced. I was friendly and enthusiastic and gracious, thanking the man and his sons for their time on my car. I even tipped generously. The boss man (the father?) then told me they also looked at my brake pads and they were "very thin", and that they could replace them for $250. I decided to wait and I took my car to Mission Hills automotive later that week. For an inspection fee, the guys at Mission Hills told me my brake pads were FINE, that they all had 80% left on them. THOSE LIARS at SE Autobody thought that I was a STUPID and NAIVE YOUNG GIRL who wouldn't know any better and was just going to allow them to EFF ME out of $250. Shame on you, SE Autobody. Such a dishonorable way to do business. You should feel so badly about yourself, and I'm so insulted you mistook my kindness and enthusiasm for stupidity. A business owner should never receive pleasure out of trying to trick customers out of hard earned money and making them feel stupid. I'm not stupid. I see exactly what happened here and it's an absolute DISGRACE. I hope you go out of business. I'll never return here, and I'm telling all of my friends to not go here. read more

I was in a small fender bender and the other party took full liability. Their AAA insurance sent me to SE Collision and I am very grateful for that. From the moment I met Mike I knew they would take great care of my car and do everything they could to get it back to it's previous condition. The rental car was lined up and ready to be driven the moment I dropped my car off. All of the staff were friendly and I felt at ease. I have been driving by this business for years as it is on my way home. Recently I scratched the side of my new crv. I stopped by and asked for an estimate having no idea whetting needed a new paint job or just a buffing. The service representative recommended buffing to see if it would do the trick. It worked. The facility is clean. Great staff. Organized. My car was in and out in record time. Hopefully I'll be able to stay away from white poles. I was recommended here by Essurance after getting backed into by a truck. They did an AMAZING job on my corolla. The whole passengers side was smashed, my mirror was shattered and the paint was just ruined. It thought it might be totaled. I got my car back four days earlier than expected and it looked brand new! They also fixed a huge dent and scratch from a previous accident for $200 (I was originally quoted $750 at Caliber). A little while ago, I came back from Spring Break and had to run some errands for the first time in a week. However, when I walked out to my car, I quickly noticed that someone had hit it while I was away on vacation. My initial reaction was panic, and immediately started to research autobody collision shops that could help me out on the process. I came across SE Autobody and decided to take a chance. I took my car to get an estimate which is when I met Mya Marshall, my car services advisor. From day 1, I was offered honest advice and great customer service. Mya was incredibly kind to me, considering I am a college student who knows nothing about car insurance or typical car accident protocols. She got my number and texted me everyday with information that I needed to know so I was always in the know on what was happening throughout the process. As for the repairs themselves, my car looks brand new! The center did such an amazing job I could not be happier with the turnout. I want to give a huge shoutout to Mya again, for she is such a good person and a hard worker. I brought my car there after an accident on the advice of my insurance company, big mistake. I had a one year old Mazda 3 and needed collision repair on the right front side, which included replacing the wheel. First of all, it took a month for them to "get the parts" to fix the car. I wasn't too happy about that, but when they finally finished it I picked it up, and everything looked okay. The only thing I did notice was that they removed the "2.3" emblem on both sides of my car, mine is the Sport version that has those. They cost $20, and I didn't want to deal with them about it and wait a month to "get that part" so I didn't bother. A couple years later, I got a flat tire on highway 5. I pulled over, and was simply going to remove the flat and put on my spare. My spare was not a donut, it was a full alloy rim and performance tire that came from the factory. This was the first time I had ever needed to open that tire well to fix a flat. To my surprise, the well was empty. The only people that had access to my vehicle was SE Auto Body, they charged me (the insurance ocmpany, actually) for a new rim and tire, but all they did was either steal my spare or use that and never purchase the replacement. Needless to say, very shady. Of course, when I tried to call on it I got nowhwere because of the time that had gone by and they have no interest in acknowledging wrong doing. If would be a different story if they made a mistake and fixed it, but basically they stole and committed fraud at my expense. read more
