Fernando and his team saved me yesterday, 9-25-26. I'd been to the nearby car wash and pulled my front bumper almost all the way off by driving too far over the curb (which has an electrical conduit on too making it even higher). It was 3pm the day before we were to leave on a two day driving trip. An employee at the car wash looked at my bumper, showed me where the clips were broken and put it back on for me so that it was drivable. (But not safe for driving so far on our trip!) I remembered Fix from when it was Deluxe Auto Body and I stopped to see if they could help me. Thankfully, Fix had clips laying around that they were willing to donate to my cause, and one of the employees carefully put them on for me in more locations than I expected, and took a quick look underneath the bumper. "What can I pay you?" I asked. " nothing, just remember us when you need body work done." it is so nice to know there are still businesses like this that will help you out of kindness. If I had gone to Honda to buy these clips, if they had them, they probably would've charged me six to $10 apiece! When I looked for the company to write this review, I noticed it's a chain and there are other locations, but this one is more highly rated. I can see why. I can't speak to their body work, obviously, but their customer service is excellent! read more

This place does garbage work and their "warranty" is a joke. I have a 2025 Honda Civic Sport Touring Hybrid that was in an accident, damaging the entire drivers side of the car. Fix Auto North Park gave the estimate, Geico approved it and recommended this shop so I agreed to let them do the repairs, ended up being over $15k in damages. Turns out, this was a Huge Mistake! At first, everything sounded great, Arlene was providing regular updates, the repair was moving along. The day it was "ready" for pickup felt a little rushed, they were trying to get it back from being aligned across the street before they closed, but they did get it back, called and I picked it up. When I got there, the car looked great, the only thing I could see that was an issue was with one of the headlights, it looked dimmer than the other and the high beam didn't appear to come on. They said they'd order a new bulb and install it next week but I could take the car now. They said the work was guaranteed for as long as we own the car. I drove it home. After the 15 min drive home, I noticed it pulled to the right a hair and when I got out, the door had a "pop" to it, like it was under tension. It made me check the work again. During the drive home the door and fender had shifted and they even left one of their shop tires in the trunk. I called and texted them pictures immediately but they were already gone for the weekend. I called first thing Monday morning, sent them pictures again, and they scheduled me to come back in a week. During the weeks time, the door/panel continued to shift to the point where the door was pinching the panel and when you open the door, the quarter panel pushes in. When I brought it back, the manager took the shop tire from the trunk, apologized and said "we'll take care of it". The next day, I get a call from the shop asking if it was hit again because of the fender damage. I explained everything again and he said ok. I didn't hear anything for a couple weeks so I called the shop. They said Geico wouldn't approve the fix and they would be "willing to go half with me". After I basically said that it would be a cold day in hell before I give them another penny, he said he would have the manager call first thing in the morning. I also gave Geico an ear full, but according to Geico, they never denied the claim but it should be covered by the shop under warranty. It had sat there 2 weeks and nothing was done. Geico said they would understand if I wanted to take it somewhere else. I tried the dealer (should have taken it there first) but Mossy Collision won't touch it since Fix Auto botched the repair. Before the accident (that wasn't even my fault) I had a perfect new car, I just wanted it fixed or totaled if it couldn't be repaired back to the way it was. Now after 3 months I'm still trying to get the car repaired because Fix Auto couldn't do it right the first time. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!! read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I brought my car in on April 13, and the repair process dragged on for three months. They did not contact me for the final installation until July 13. The shop charged my insurance nearly $6,000, yet my car was returned to me with poor-quality and incomplete repairs. I have included photos of the $6,000 repair they billed my insurance company, along with my rental car receipts, so you can see exactly what I went through and judge the quality of the work for yourself. The first time I picked up my car, no one told me the job was not actually finished. Also Clips had been removed or were missing, and my car made a horrible noise while I was driving on the freeway. It honestly sounded like my wheel was going to fall off, my anxiety and stress was ultimate high. I had to bring the car back, rent another vehicle, and wait while the North Park location sent my car to Miramar and then back again. Communication was terrible throughout the entire process. I constantly had to call for updates because no one kept me informed. My insurance only covered a rental car for one month. Because this shop took so long and still had not completed the repairs correctly, I had to pay for another month of rental expenses and rental insurance out of my own pocket. They did not cover the full rental cost and would not even agree to pay half of my rental insurance, even though their delays and poor workmanship were the reason I needed the rental for so long. The second time they returned my car, the clips still had not been properly installed. I was driving on the freeway with my baby in the car, genuinely scared that the wheel or part of my car was going to come off because of the horrible noise. I then had to continue driving the car like that for another month while waiting for them to finish the job. That was completely unacceptable and unsafe. I had to return to the shop four separate times just to get the repair completed correctly. Pablo, the manager at the North Park location, did not go above and beyond to resolve the situation. There was no urgency, accountability, or concern for the stress, financial loss, inconvenience, or safety risk this caused me and my baby. I have already notified my insurance company about this experience and asked them not to recommend this shop as a reliable or trustworthy repair facility. This place is a disaster. Poor workmanship, terrible communication, excessive delays, unsafe repairs, and no accountability. Save yourself the stress and take your car somewhere else. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I initially took my truck to Fix Auto after an accident in San Diego. From the start, the quality of work was extremely poor. When I picked up my truck, I noticed several issues: * The AC wasn't working * The headlights were not aligned properly * The bumper started coming off the very next day Unfortunately, I had to leave for a work training in Arizona, so I couldn't bring it back immediately. I called Juan from Fix Auto, who gave me permission to take it to a local shop in AZ to fix the issues and said he would cover the cost. I took it to Larry H. Miller Toyota (a certified shop), where they disassembled the front and told me, bluntly, that the repair job from Fix Auto was terrible. They sent Juan a quote for the repairs, but he refused to approve it. That left me no choice but to travel back to San Diego -- costing me both time and money -- and pay Larry H. Miller $325 just to reassemble the truck the way Fix Auto had left it. When I got the truck back from Fix Auto again, the problems continued. Upon starting the truck, I received a "Pre-Collision System Malfunction" alert. Juan initially said there was nothing he could do and almost sent me home (which is 1 hour and 45 minutes away). After some time, he managed to clear the alert. But just a few hours later, the bumper started coming off again. I've documented everything, including photos sent to my insurance adjuster. To top it all off, I was promised a gas gift card from Juan for the inconvenience -- which I still haven't received. Bottom line: This shop is unprofessional, unethical, and has terrible communication. I regret trusting them with my vehicle. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. read more

My car just recently got vandalized and I had to get it fixed through State Farm. I ended up picking Fix Auto in North Park. I have never had to do work on my car before. I have to say they exceeded my expectations. They went above and beyond. My car literally looks like when I took out of the dealer. So they tried to break in a few weeks ago and they tried to pry the front passenger side door to get in. Also they scratched it all around. They had to end up painting the whole car. It's a 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB 250 4 Matic. I have to say I was extremely upset and disappointed. But after taking to Fix Auto North Park my car looks just like when I first bought it. I was excited to visit Fix Auto because they were the first to respond to my inquiry, they provided an estimate based off an image, and the face to face estimate was 375$ cheaper than the initial estimate. They were backed up for a little over a month but that is understandable with the holidays. My one star is based on our final communication. The representative fo the Fix Auto told me, "now that I have your contact information and I have given you a quote, give me 1 to 2 hours and I will email you with a formal document for your records. We hope that you will return next month for the body work." I was fine with coming back... but I never received the documents or any further communication. Ultimately, I went with a mobile company. Unfortunately in October 2021 I was involved in a four car collision. The insurance of the person who caused the accident is partnered with this auto repair shop. When I met Chris in November he was friendly. He briefly discussed the work that would be done to my vehicle. He estimated the work should be completed within two weeks. Due to Thanksgiving, Christmas, the Covid Omicron surge, the New Year, and needing to re-order the correct parts I did not receive my SUV until a month later. For the fact I had a nice rental provided by the insurance of the driver who caused the collision I did not mind being patient. When I did receive my vehicle it sounded funny and was driving very slowly. Before I received my SUV I often shared my concern to Chris regarding the functionality of my vehicle because the "Check Engine" light was on; and, I felt like I was dragging when I drove. A couple of days later my car would not start without a jump and eventually did not start at all. My husband had to purchase a new battery (our battery was only one year old) and worked on my SUV to get it functioning well again. Overall I am happy with the aesthetics of my SUV. It would have been nice if the staff did not run down the battery which caused me to purchase a new one. read more

I took my car here near the time I first bought my Lexus ISF. I had hit something that was laying in the middle of the freeway at night, which cracked the bottom of my OEM bumper. I have devastated, so I searched local shops that was reputable. Took my car to have it looked at and get some quotes and recommendations. They had recommended that I purchased a brand new bumper because if they were to fix it, it'll save me a little bit of money but the chances of it cracking again is high since it's plastic. So even the slightest tap can easily crack it again. In my mind, I was worried about what the cost of a new bumper and paint would be. Surprisingly, the rates were not bad at all! Considering they'd order me the brand new OEM bumper from Lexus and paint it Starfire Pearl White, which is usually more expensive with the 3 stage coat. I agreed to have it done by then and it came out perfectly! I would highly recommend this shop for all your auto body needs. Chris and his father are awesome and true professionals! read more

I had my car repaired through these people only because "friend" was an "owner". $12,000 dollars later, none of the panels fit back properly, they painted inside the grill and left the gaskets off of the roof and back windshield. They broke my ported box but I let that slide.To bad I discover this when I moved to Jacksonville, Florida. Only reason I let a lot of this go initially was because I knew the owner, John Pham, but he probably was lying. Edit: the review is still accurate but they are trying to actively rectify the problem, even being over 2000 miles away. The car is about to become a play car so I'm not pursuing money. They did try to make it right which they do get credit for. I also meant to say molding and not gasket. We took the car to 3 other shops to get quotes on a fender bender/ wheel replacement and out of the 3, Delux gave us the best price (with awesome reviews on here too). As you know, anything auto related can be a little pricey. We dropped off the car on a Monday-- first thing in the morning-- and we were told it would be ready by Wednesday. Turns out, the people here are so professional and know how difficult it is to be without a car in SoCal, they had my car ready the next day in the afternoon. Wow! 5 STARS just for expediting and putting themselves in my shoes on having no car for a few days. They did a great job removing/installing new fender, and the color coat looks perfect! I was wary about using Fix Auto since I didn't know anything about them so I drove by to peek during their work hours. Things looked organized, clean, and safe, so I took a gamble and used them. I am 100% happy that I did! They were very professional, easy to work with, and quick. I got text alerts to the status of my repairs and they had my car back to me the following Friday. I was worried about paint runs, etc., but there were none. You can't even tell there was damage, which is exactly what I wanted on my 1 year old car with less than 10k miles on it! Had a dent and scratches from scraping a pole in a garage on my new car. Used my insurance and made an appt for repair here. Even though I made an appt a week in advance it took almost a month to get my car back. This is my first "new" car, it had just about five thousand miles on it. I take care of it and regularly get it hand washed and get it detailed and waxed every three months at 2020 Auto Detail, they rock. So a few weeks afterI picked it up I went to get it waxed they noticed some damage and compromised paint in the shape of a circle in the center of the hood. They told me it was most likely bird poop on the car being left in the sun for too long. I would never, but I know who did. I knew it was too late to bring it back and point it out because it was weeks later and I have no proof to get recompense. And though they did a great job on the actual repair I don't want them to have my car again. The entire hood has to be repainted in order to repair it and I have to pay that out-of-pocket. I was heartbroken to see Frankie (my Subaru) all banged up, so of course, I was doubtful they could do much. I was gratefully proven wrong!! After two weeks in their shop (which may I add they accommodated me since I already had travel plans before the accident happened). After two weeks, my Subaru looked spotless, I mean it looked AMAZING!! I can argue it looked brand new, possibly even better than when I purchased it and drove it off the dealership lot. My 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo was hit the day before Thanksgiving on an awful rainy day... I had no idea how extensive the repairs were. I thought I just had some damage to my left side mirror and a couple of scrapes to the side of my car. I am glad I took my car to Deluxe after reading their excellent reviews. They found and got approval for additional damages caused by the accident. What I thought was under $300 for a new mirror was a total of $1600 for what the other driver had done to my car. They were also fairly local since I live in the Normal Heights area. They were easy to work with, very friendly and kept me in the loop every step of the way. I decided to get my back bumper repaired as well since they had to take a couple of extra days for the repairs. When I got my car back, she looked almost brand new (mind you she is over 10 years old). They washed my car, detailed it and I couldn't be more pleased. Over the weekend, someone/something hit my newly repaired bumper. It was a small, slightly deep scratch on the center of the bumper :( I called to see what they could do for me and they told me to come by for a free touch up. Instead of doing the work over again for just materials cost, I was pleased with this solution as my car isn't exactly scratch free all around.
