All American Floats made for super easy & enjoyable experience. I reserved a kayak over Memorial Day weekend - you can pick your day/time/float options all online. My time a slot was 1pm so I got there 15min til 1. Parking was a challenge since it was a busy weekend but I found a spot. Checked in at the office - they have a little shop in case you need last minute items for the trip. Waited for the bus underneath a big shade tree. There's ONE tree swing which I snagged immediately - made waiting for the bus breeze by. Especially great having shade sitting on the bus while everyone got settled. I think it was an hour total wait to get started from the time I got there because they needed to shuttle more paddles in. but honestly I didn't notice because of the amazing weather & you can tell the drivers want to make sure everything is in order to have enough paddles + life vests for each person. The bus driver was upbeat & thorough so that everyone was accounted for. If you like feeling the breeze, their open-top bus is perfect for it. Once we got to the drop off point, their guys dragged our floats down to the river for us. They also helped me get into my kayak which was super nice. At the end of the river, their location to get back to All American is pretty obvious so you won't miss it. read more

Raft went flat 100 yards into float trip and was told that I flattened the raft myself on purpose, blow it up by mouth and threatened with a lawsuit for any bad review!! I'll never do a river float again after this trip! They gave me a huge tube, and no paddle. I couldn't even reach the outside of the tube to the water! The river was so slow and I kept running into trees, then the wind came up and I was stuck in the same area for a long time because I didn't have a paddle! I was out there longer than I should have, and I have the worst sunburn ever! I even had to walk back with the float for a half mile since I wasn't moving! It sucked! read more

We enjoyed it. Just gotta know what you are getting into. We came from Texas and did this as an activity on our drive through so had no idea on how this river compared to Texas rivers. It is wide and has little current. So don't get a tube, that would be painfully slow. If you do, only do the 4 mile. With family of 4 we did 2 single kayaks and 1 double so kids could take a break. We did the 9 mile route and that was enough. Looked like most people were out to float & drink in group rafts. We did a slow paddle. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would... had to wait for 40 minutes after we had an appt to then wait again for the rafts to show up in total it took over an hour just to get the raft and get on the river. Two hour wait to even get on a bus to the river. Boss man seemed all about the $$ even after we made our reservation with him. We are a military family that lives off our honor. Recently, I heard that the Illinois River was a great place to kayak at a leisurely pace. I came across this group on the web and was sold on their week day pricing. For $20 you get a kayak, parking, and a ride to the drop site while listening to rock music. I found the staff to be very friendly. Their kayaks were in decent shape. Tip: call ahead to reserve a kayak or raft. Also, ask about the flow of the river. You don't want to go if it's low. I read a few of the negative yelp reviews and had to roll my eyes. If you are the type of person that needs a ultra clean toilet or feel unsafe on a bus without seat belts, go elsewhere. If you grew up in the 80's riding in the back of trucks then this place if for you. Enjoy! read more

A few weeks ago we used all American for a float trip. They made us wait over 3 hours in the parking lot before we got bussed down (even with a reservation). When we finally get to the water, they had 0 of the rafts we reserved on the trailer and refused to bring more because they were too busy and the next busses rafts were for that bus only. Ended up having to pull 2 out of the woods we found and another company gave us an extra they had with a hole in the bottom. Falcon floats got us on the bus in less than 5 minutes. My husband and I went here for the first time a few days ago. It took us a little over an hour to get to this place from Broken Arrow, but it was totally worth it! Staff are super friendly and the facility is really clean. They give a pretty generous military discount when you bring your military ID. I absolutely loved their buses with no tops!!! Those are pretty cool. After talking with the owner for a little bit, we found out that we had been tubing with his other company in Cherokee, North Carolina. Small world, right?! I'll say the water is more desirable in temperature here in Oklahoma! Ha ha! We decided to do the 9 mile float trip with our tubes and cooler float given that it's the more scenic route. The ride to the drop point was pretty entertaining in the topless bus rocking out to classic rock. Not to mention the ride to the drop point was actually very pretty. The tubes actually do you have headrests contrary to other reviews, and they also have cupholders. I will note that when we got there, the driver did offer us these little dinky bungee cords to hook our tubes together. I didn't realize that we were supposed to bring our own rope or means of tethering our tubes together. Any other place we've been to, the tubes all have a means of clipping together or rope is provided. Thank goodness the bus driver was able to find the tiny little bungee cords he did. Otherwise, we would've had to hold our tubes together the entire time AND paddle with our arms! We packed enough food and drinks with anticipation that it could be a long trip. We got there around 12, and we're on the river around 1230. However, what we did not anticipate was that the flow of the river was basically nonexistent. No recent rain means for a slow trip. Oh well! We made a fun day of it. Our trip was amazing, but to get from the 9 mile drop point to the halfway pick up point with no paddles (only rafts and kayaks get paddles. Which is odd considering any other float company we tubed with will offer a paddle even for those tubing) took several hours. Sadly, we didn't finish the whole trip, and got out at the halfway pick up point around 1900. We're totally cool with it because the trip was just absolutely beautiful and so much fun!! All in all we had a most stellar time!! Everyone was so pleasant on the river. The view was beautiful. The tubes were perfect. The weather was amazing. Highly recommend this place!!! read more

The river is the star, of course, but this tour company is a mess. The amenities are filthy and the area is a mud pit. The life vests are wet, moldy, and simply piled in a trailer and all over the ground. The length of the tour is shorter than others we've experienced, as well. You'll find a cleaner and better priced tour company elsewhere. read more

I want to start this review by saying I used to be a huge fan of All American Floats. My wife and I have taken over 6 kayak trips and had a blast with each trip. This came to an end when we took a 14 mile kayak trip on 8/28/20. Half way through our trip I discovered there was a hole in the kayak which would fill up the inside of the kayak causing me to repeatedly capsize. I had to pull off and tip the kayak on it's front end to drain the water out to stay afloat. When we finally made it back to All American Float, I informed the very nice kid that was helping us exit the water that the kayak had a hole it and showed him where the hole was. He did apologize that "we got that kayak". We tried to go to the office and speak to someone but the office was closed. We tried calling the business and a female answered and we asked if they were in the office and she said no? We told her we needed to speak to a manager and she asked why. We explained about our kayak and she gave us a different telephone number to call. We called that number and got a voice mail that said to text for a quicker response. (Please read the text conversation in pictures). The negative review that was referenced in the conversation was a survey that was emailed to us by Square Up asking us if we enjoyed our trip? This was emailed during the 2 1/2 hours we were waiting to hear back from someone. This is what we put on the survey: Not satisfied with quality and customer service. Our kayak had a hole it and had to struggle to paddle. Kayak kept filling with water & capsizing and not in a fun way. The office was closed, left message to ask a manager to call us back, but no reply yet. If you have read the text exchange you will see that the manager had no intention of getting back to us in a timely manner. It was approximately 2 minutes after leaving the survey that the manager text us. We truly thought the manager would like to be aware of the situation so they could repair the kayak for future patrons. It is clear this place does not care about the customer service. They clearly have other things to do and can't be bothered with insignificant things like customer service or safety . STAY AWAY!!!! read more

My daughter and her friends (all around age 19-20) rented a raft from this place earlier today and ended up sinking their raft and losing everything they had phones, keys, wallets. They call All American (luckily one phone survived) and let them know what had happened and were told to flip their raft and figure it out. After being on the phone for a few minutes telling them they didn't even have paddles to get back they were told to send their location and someone would come help them. Almost an hour went by and nobody showed up. Thank God someone from another float rental stopped to help them and gave them one paddle. They make it back to find out that All American was closed and another bus from somewhere else gave them a ride back to their car. So they knew several young people were stranded on the Illinois river and they left them there and went home like it was not a big deal. What if the one phone they had died and nobody else stopped to help? I would have had the police searching the river for them! What if a bus from another business hadn't been there to get them back? Pissed off and disappointed is a huge understatement but I am going to let this be continued tomorrow when I have the chance to go talk to someone myself and I am hoping that it was some dumb irresponsible teenager working and not an actual adult......I will update this accordingly...... Update: the owner calls and basically says it's their fault for the raft sinking and "they made it home so what's the big deal." He also tells me if I say anything on social media he will charge them for the paddles and the time it took to supposedly come look for them. He was very rude and very unprofessional and with all of the places on the river to float I would never waste my time or money here again. I have been floating the river for years and never dealt with anything like this. They don't care about their customers and being the first stop isn't worth it. read more

Awful. Tried for 3 days to get a call back regarding our reservation and could never get anyone to answer the phone. The float process was fine but the campsite was disgusting. I didn't expect a lot because it IS camping but not having usable bathrooms was miserable. There was no toilet paper for the 2 days we were there and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. We opted for popping a squat in the tree line instead. The showers were covered in bugs and spider webs. There were no curtains or doors for privacy and no front door on the bathroom so anyone could walk by and watch you shower. Will definitely go somewhere else next time we float and camp. They're all comparable in price but others offer the basic amenities. Plus I doubt the others let homeless people sleep there and roam the sites. It was an awful experience. read more

Took over 10 call attempts to get a hold of someone to make a reservation, then once I got someone, I was asked to TEXT what I wanted to another phone number. The day of, my reservation wasn't even on the books, but thankfully they gave us a raft anyways - but it had a hole in it! Not a great section of the river. Had to paddle a good portion of it or else we'd float upstream. Onsite bathrooms and showers are really gross. I'd rather dig my own hole than go in their bathrooms. I recommend Arrowhead Resort (where we usually go but thought we'd try somewhere else for a change) just up the river 12 miles. They usually have a Groupon. read more

So, I was lured in, as,were,many others by the name...ALL-AMERICAN. How could you not be, right? We got there around 1130 on Saturday, and after waiting in line for 20 mins, were,told they were "sold out, as are all the other places in this area". (Lie) We walked out towards our vehicle, but I decided I would see exactly WHAT was sold out. When I went back in, the owner told me they were "filling tubes, would take about 30 mins if I didn't mind the wait." I'm game, so I paid, went to get changed and began waiting. After about 45 minutes of waiting, we were still no closer to getting a tube and getting in the water. I asked one of the employees who was filling the tubes (only one pump) how long we would be waiting still. His answer was, "well, I'm filling up for a group of 15 now, then I have a group of 7 to fill, then (someone) will start filling tubes for everyone else." He had no more than finished saying that when some woman that works there came up and said "I need 20 for my group." He just shrugged, said "ok, it will be a bit" and went back to what he was doing. I (as with many other patrons) understand groups and all, but there was NO organization or structure to their system. When we went in for a refund, as did other patrons, we were given a plethora of excuses from the owner's daughter (I we sour for surgery, it's someone else's fault, what do you want from me), but not once was an apology given. We kept our cool, gave some tips to the daughter who "wasn't at fault", suggesting maybe she let her Dad know of the issues. We went up the road to 'the competitor' "Riverbend Floats", and while a little more expensive, recieved what was expected...great customer service! If you are looking for a relaxing weekend activity, I wouldn't suggest this place. We were more stressed when we, left then when we got there. read more

How to describe a horrible experience.... oh All American Floats. We drove an hour to get there and we were the first family signed up in the day. We arrived before check in and waited and waited and waited. Then went to the "bathroom" I call it that because it was meant for that but it was covered in feces. We went back out and waited some more ...An hour later we asked for our money back. I was scouting this place to feature it for a tourism OK series. Well, maybe I'll go to a competitor. My group is currently sitting waiting for a raft after 2.5 hours. We called ahead and made a reservation weeks ago but they ran out of rafts so we have to wait until people come back from their float. They didn't even offer to compensate us in any way. We won't be coming back-there's better places in the Illinois River. read more

I did not see any post/notices at the office and/or loading area that stated you were to sign in. I also read my receipts and no where did it give instructions on how to sign in so my daughter and I got on the bus ONLY to be treated very rudely once we were at the drop spot. They did not have our canoe so we had to wait in the shade for them to bring it down on the next run. We were understanding as it was our confusion so we turned an unused kayak over and sat it down in the shade for us to rest upon. Then another worker came over and was saying, "Move, Move, you need to move" and once I realized he was speaking to us I said, excuse me sir but you can ask us in a much nicer way and tone. He then "please in a very sarcastic and snarky way." I honestly wanted to ask if his parents raised him to speak to women in such a way. I was very offended and did not appreciate the rude behavior being exhibited by the workers of All American Floats. read more

A really great float company, very helpful and reasonably priced. They don't have food so bring your own. Beautiful river
