Uneven acrylic pedicure left my cuticles in pain and raw dont look even at all. The nails are crooked and way too thick from base to top. Looks like different nails on each foot not. I hate to leave 2 stars because they were really nice and the service was fast, but the quality of the work wasn't up to part. My gel set was thin and uneven despite asking for a curved nail shape, I was still given a straight flat shape with a bumpy finish. my pedicure also wasn't great, I asked for a curved French design and she gave me a straight line. Went to get a pedicure and the woman doing my nails cut off my skin around my nails and left it bare. On both toes it was bare skin and extremely painful. Extremely unprofessional and they don't know what they're doing. My skin was so dry and I was in pain for a week. read more

When I arrived I waited almost an hour before I said something and was told the other people came before me. I made an appointment for 3pm to do my full set.. I was running 10 minutes late at 3:05PM I was on the phone with them to let them know I was five minutes away from the place. When I get there at 3:10 the tech I had an appointment had already taken another client and they were going to make me wait from 40 minutes to 50 minutes... So I told them to cancel my appointment and walked out. I only went in the past to get my nails done but I don't even recommend you doing your nails here. There's better salons with better customer service and CLEAN tools. Do not recommend this place. This was the last straw for me. I don't understand how they're in business. read more

Plain & simple, DO NOT COME HERE!!! Staff is pompous & arrogant. Even worse, they are inexperienced and completely negligent! I had dip done by Joe. By the end of the evening, I had SEVEN chips to the corners of my nails, and this was after going home and watering my plants. No, I did not do any laborious cleaning, manual labor, or any heavy construction. The nails chipped for absolutely no reason at all! I called the spa first thing in the morning to inform them that I would be coming in at the same time as the day prior (6pm), in order to have the issue corrected. The ignorant man that answered the phone stated that they do not take appointments to fix nails, and that they would be too busy at 6pm. He told me to come earlier and I quickly explained that I am seeing patients in my office until that time. Apparently, these dimwit's aren't able to comprehend the meaning of customer service. All in all, I wouldn't go back to this place if my life depended on it! Just to add, as the other Yelpers mentioned, this place is extremely dirty, trashy, and unkempt. The ONLY reason I came here was because my girl, Liz, at TOI Spa in Hollywood was not working that day. On that note, if anyone is interested in finding a beautiful spa with a caring and considerate staff, I HIGHLY recommend TOI Spa in Hollywood circle. Lyannai does uneven work. No one is trained on updated styles and they charge you after your nail pops off two days later.

I've had better experiences here, it's usually a hit or miss since management changed. I didn't expect my nails to be perfect, especially since i was a walk in... but i left disappointed especially since i've gotten the same set here for $15 cheaper and much higher quality. I paid $77. This is by far the worst nail salon I have ever been to. The staff is EXTREMELY rude! The tools being used are dirty and I got a fungus from getting a pedicure here and was cut multiple times. After three days my nails were chipping and the acrylic literally popping off. I have never seen such a filthy place. On top of the nails being horrendous and faulty, the man at the front desk told me that is what I get for $71 and that's their price as if I'm the one that is upsetting him...??? He then proceeds to tell me to find another salon and walked away leaving me in tears. I recommend NEVER setting foot in this place. read more

I came in to get a nail repaired and Kyoe or however you spell her name, say me down at her station and as she was shaping the nail overlay I told her that it doesn't look right and she continued and mumbled something under her breath then continued as she was. When she finished I told her my nail looked completely different from The rest in a very noticeable way and that I don't like it, she mumbled something and cut the overlay off including my real nail underneath and said "you don't like then go to somebody else!" The owner stepped in and repaired the nail and it matches the rest and that's the ONLY reason they got 1 star because otherwise I would've left negative 5 stars!! Never ever going back here! This has been the most absolute worst nail salon I've been to. I used to come here years ago when it was Tina Nails. The new management and employees are absolutely terrible. They have an issue with following what was requested. The worse part was I was given an attitude. Completely unsatisfactory. There are only two former employees left here. Joe and an older woman. This is not my go to nail salon. It's the salon I choose when it's 6:30 PM and I have an event the very next morning. Every time I come here I say I won't go back, it's just so close to my house, and a decent-ish price. I've been to Tina Nails a total of 3 times in the past 2 years. The last two times were recent. I wasn't really happy with the pedicure either time but you get what you pay for. One of the techs didn't speak English. At all. I was trying to tell him I didn't want the cheese grater thing on my feet but he didn't understand my many attempts so I just let him do it. The other tech was face timing someone with her phone in her lap while cutting my toe nails. The salon is so old and dirty. The fact that it's small doesn't help. They really need to shut down for a couple days and do a major deep cleaning and repair some things. The hand written signs everywhere are distracting and unprofessional. The chairs are uncomfortable. All together it's just an unorganized cluster. No relaxing vibe whatsoever. I don't like when I pull out a debit/credit card, they ask for cash. No, I don't have cash. If I did have cash, it's none of your business. I'm obviously using my card for a reason. If I wanted to use cash, I would have pulled it out of my wallet and handed it to you. I love the techs. They're always so nice and helpful. Especially Chau. He always does amazing work. He's quick and detailed and thorough. There's another gentleman that does designs as well and he's also very nice. The ONLY thing i don't like is how dirty the salon is. The tools they use are never clean or sanitary. Its not in a very good area so the surrounding smell and overall aesthetic of the shop is low. It's kinda gross but otherwise i have no complaints on my actual nails and the detail of my nails. I am not picky at all when it comes to my nails but they messed me up. I had a guy do my dip manicure and he messed up so bad he had to take it all off and start all over. I have been getting Pedicures for the last 25 years and I have been to many different places of different quality and prices. I went to get a pedicure at Tina Nails Easter time of this year 2017. The woman who attended me was in a hurry and was rude. I didn't notice at the time that she did not cut my foot cuticles correctly. It was only when she was doing my manicure that I realized she did not know how to cut cuticles. She chopped up all my cuticles (foot and hand). I complained to her and she ignored me. About three days later I noticed my right foot large toe cuticle began to peel and was uncomfortable and tender. That was followed by intense swelling and pain of my large right foot toe. I developed a serious fungal/bacterial infection from my one time visit to this place. Never in my life did I ever experience such horrible foot pain. I was forced to visit the urgent care where I received treatment, antibiotics etc....I had to follow up with a podiatrist who had to remove three nails due to the serious infection I developed. I am certain I received the infection at their location due to their lack of care and ability in using the tools to cut cuticles. One pedicure and four medical visits later. This has been a horrendous experience I hope I never have to experience again. Beware! read more

Attempted to take my mother for a mani-pedi and Tina Nail was just not the place. She is in a wheelchair and I couldn't even take her to the restroom before her service because the space is so narrow. The slovenly older guy at the desk couldn't care less that they are breaking state boards by not having an accessible restroom, all the other techs looked at me like I was from outer space because I voiced my displeasure of the set up. The salon smells of acrylic (no fans or adequate ventilation which is also against state board) and the place was SLUMMY. Seriously, it was dirty, slummy, rude and no clients in the joint. I walked into the salon and patiently waited approximately 2 hours to get serviced. I asked for stiletto shaped nails. When he started filing my nails I asked him to fix the side because it was completely crooked. Apparently asking them to fix something is a crime. He got mad and snatched my nail off and glued a new one on. When he filed it a second time it was the same thing so I asked him to please fix it again. This man told me he wasn't fixing my nail anymore and told me there was nothing wrong with it. I had to ask all the ladies sitting in the waiting area if they agreed that nothing was wrong with my nail. ALL the customers agreed that it looked a mess. When I told him to fix it he told me to get out. I told him I couldn't leave because I had tips on my nails. He started working on someone else and continued talking crazy. The unprofessional approach to a paying customer is disgusting. I don't know how these people are even in business. They rush so much that they don't care what kind of mess they leave you with. Save yourself the time and headache. There should be an option to leave zero or negative stars. This place doesn't even deserve one star. It's sad that quality work no longer exists and professionalism also seems to be a thing of the past. I've never been treated so bad at a place where I went to spend MY money at.
