This UPS location is fairly convenient, especially since it's near Papa John's and Starbucks…read more Parking is decent, although getting into the parking lot can be frustrating because the Starbucks drive-thru line tends to block the entrance and it took me a couple minutes to be able to pull into the parking lot. Unfortunately, the customer service was awful. When I walked in, there were four customers waiting, and the employee at the counter didn't acknowledge or greet anyone. Instead, he continued placing shipping labels on packages. When I asked if he was the only person working, he simply replied "no" and continued what he was doing. I pointed out that there were several customers waiting and suggested he either assist the line or have another employee come help. He appeared visibly annoyed before finally coming to the register to assist. As he was helping the second customer, another employee eventually came from the back to assist the third person in line, but it seemed like he was inconvenienced by having to come out. Both lacked communication and customer service skills. Overall, this is a typical UPS location where you can print, ship, and handle your mailing needs. However, management should place a stronger emphasis on customer service. A simple greeting and acknowledging customers when there's a wait would go a long way toward creating a better experience at least for me.

A1A did all the packing and loading at the origin location. At the destination I discovered that…read morethe wardrobe boxes containing my clothing on hangers were also tightly jammed with other items, such as a full size plastic clothes hamper (into which a comforter was tightly jammed), unprotected shoes and an iron, full-size file boxes, a wastepaper basket, a tripod, etc. The force and displacement resulting from of all that jamming caused my clothes to not just be all creased, but also damaged, including a leather jacket whose collar was permanently dented in two places. Mats and a rug which should have been rolled up were instead tightly folded and bent. An upholstered chair had its upholstery ripped. A microwave oven for which I had the original box and styrofoam had the platter thrown into the interior loose and unprotected. Possibly the most clear-cut indicator that the damage was intentional was my favorite mouse pad (which has been discontinued), which was made of a firm material and yet was packed at the very top of a box's interior having been completely and precisely folded in half, making it forever unusable. The boxes that had been packed in my presence in the living room had tons of packing paper in them, but the boxes that were packed out-of-sight in the bedrooms often had no packing paper at all and looked like drawers had been turned upside down and the contents dropped into the boxes. Then there's the usual damage such as glass artwork being shattered, cardboard boxes being crushed., etc. This is all documented in photos, as well as videos of me opening up the wardrobe boxes. I had completed as instructed the high-value inventory online, but when I was presented paperwork to sign after the boxes had been loaded, it said I had "none" and that it was too late to fix. For both the A1A packers and movers, I tipped each of them $50 before they started and told them they would each get another $50 afterwards, for which I kept my word, and yet they did this.
