A great place to launch! Easy access off & on hwy-4 with a short distance to the freeway! It is a great access point to the delta and key locations we frequent! Staff always friendly and helpful! There is an outhouse that is always clean as well as a traditional bathroom. The store has what you need if you forget anything! It's a bit of a long ride out of the 5mph zone, but think that's not a bad thing as I like to warm up my jet ski before getting on it anyhow. It is sometime windy at launch and they do sell passes, but there is not a price break...just get to skip the walk to pay launch fee. read more

The good- Staff is friendly and helpful. The bad- storage area is not maintained well. There is a constant issue with hornets nests over my storage area. I complain, nothing happens. The gate to my storage area is always in disrepair and always left open, thus compromising security. None of that would quite bother me so much but every year, they increase the rent. I wouldn't much mind the rent increase if they would address their issues. Still the best value for covered storage in this area. read more

Was quiet no one around. The website says just to park and fish is 10 dollars but then they charge you for day use for 20 saying website needs to be updated. So 20 bucks to just park my car and fish for a bit not really worth it. Sucks they can't keep website or pricing updated. Not to bad a place but I don't think I would ever camp or go back. Without a doubt, the best launch facilities out of the Tracy area. They have everything & anything you need to have a great day on the water. Clean restrooms and 3 lanes to launch with plenty of room to get ready without feeling rushed. And a huge shout out to the owner Ron & friends. Still the best place to launch a boat from the East Bay! I arrived last weekend to launch my boat for the first time of the season. I was greeted at the launch ramp by a concerned employee regarding a boater who was stranded. She was definitely going out of her way to get someone to help. I was pleased to lend a hand, and was able to bring the stranded boater back to the safety of the marina. A+ for the employees of the River's End Marina! read more

The launch ramps are pretty steep and it gets crowded here. The owners are nice folks. Had a problem once where an employee there took it upon himself to move my boat while I parked my rig. The only problem was the drive unit was not down. Luckily for him, he didn't damage anything. But still it wasn't a cool thing to do. Also the channel you get dropped into is pretty narrow. Unless you are pretty confident in your piloting skills, I'd suggest a different marina. read more

Very accessible from anywhere in the Bay. Great sightings for top notch wakeboarders. Priced just right - so it gets really popular at times.... Nice people manning the place, I needed something not available at their store, and the lady took time to check her home and just gave it to me. Very close to Tracy area, nice clean restrooms, they sell beer and baits, reasonable launch fees. But so much of that sea weed floating around and water is very very shallow, leading to the delta unless you have a smaller bass boat I wouldn't recommend launching here. Espically if you have a Jet drive. You will 100% get something caught in the water intake. Your better off launching in Stockton if you have a bigger boat. But nice facilities. read more

5 HUGE stars for the owner's customer service. Very nice guy. We just bought our first boat, have only rented ones already in the water before, so this review is coming from a novice. They have a nice little convenience store, decent staging area, and 3 launch ramps. Ramps are very steep, moreso than other places I've seen. Fee is reasonable, downside is the parking lot is all dirt. Also, it's a pretty long 5MPH zone but not unbearable. Overall, about a 4* place given location and price. BUT - enormous 5 stars for the owner. Was loading to go home and the outdrive wouldn't raise...at all. He came over and helped try some ideas to get it to raise to no avail. We pulled up the launch ramp with the skeg dragging and he spent a full hour and a half of hard work helping me disconnect the boat from the car and drag the thing over to a space while trying to keep the skeg from killing itself on the pavement. He said we could leave it and his mechanic could look midweek. I couldn't believe he went so far out of his way to help us out, we'll definitely be back. Customer service is such a lost art these days, nice to see someone go above and (way) beyond! read more

Not the most glamorous Marina, but the cheapest in the area to drop your boat into the dirty delta. It's owned and run by a really nice middle aged couple. Super friendly and knowledgeable of the area. This marina is a good place to launch your boat from. It's not too far from the freeway. The boat launch fees are reasonable and the marina shop is stocked with most of the little things you'll need before pushing from the docks; including bait. The "No Wake Zone" is a bit lengthy but not to the point where it's ridiculous. It'll give you time to set up your fishing gear before getting to your location. The truck and trailer parking area is typical of a marina but there are actual bathrooms next to the marina shop instead of an outhouse. I'd give it 5 stars if the shop was a fishing pro-shop, but hey, it's not a perfect world. read more

Nice clean facility. 3 ramps, plenty of lighting and parking. They even offer storage at a reasonable price. Not too far from fast water. Be prepared it can get a bit busy and people don't follow instructions like pulling their boat forward so others can pull behind once out of the water. read more

quick and easy to get to. There are 2 narrow launch ramps which get pretty busy on weekends. They have a single wide trailer/store that stocks any little nick naks you forget. Fishing supplies, bait, sun screen etc. Pulling out of the no wake zone is narrow and pretty dirty, but it is a short ride out to the main channel. 4 stars due to location, and ease of use. read more

Whatever you do, don't rent from this place! They will rip you off every chance they get! If you have no other choice, take photos of everything indoors and out. I moved into a place there that wasn't finished when I moved in. The contractor they hired to fix everything did a half-assed job, including but not limited to, only hooking up half of the ducting for the air ducts, teaching mud through my house, breaking a window frame, and never fixing the dock (that was so rotten, my leg went through it while I was standing on it.) I hated living there and was so happy when I was moving out, until I found out that I was being charged for every little thing caused by the contractor in the amount of almost $800 after only living there for four months. i love this place.. its super close and they guy that works there is the nicest guy i have ever met in my life!!! hes a mid aged man with aqua blue eyes.. no i dont have a crush on him.. his costumer service is blew me out of the water( LOL) when i went to go pay for a launch im like i would like to pay for a launch and he said first of all how are you doing today? and at the end of the mom hit a sand bar and he came out and totaly helped up hes great he is what makes me want to go back there!! the only thing that sucks is that the 5mph zone is super long read more
