There are also a few good dining options, such as BJ's, CreAsian, and Black Angus. In the past, I found the shopping center to be pretty dull compared to some of the other malls and shopping areas I've visited around the Bay Area. However, since it was purchased by a new owner, I've noticed some improvements and renovations that have given the area a much-needed refresh. New additions like Handel's, Vine + Grain, and the upcoming Slice House are making the center feel more lively and promising. I think Streets of Brentwood has a lot of potential and will continue to improve over the next five years. One of my favorite features is the outdoor patio area. It's a nice place to take a stroll, spend time with family, and even bring your dog. Overall, Streets of Brentwood seems to be heading in a positive direction, and I'm looking forward to seeing how much it continues to grow and improve.

Finally, I want to believe it was a one off, but the librarian who helped me was the first in over a dozen library visits who wasn't beyond friendly and helpful. As other libraries, this branch also offer self-checkouts and easy drop offs. They they also offer automatic extension for borrowed items and you can also put books on hold if you are waiting on a specific one. I also had a privilege of using one of the conference rooms with other mom friends to help our kids with their homework. Parking is ample and is located in downtown Brentwood, so you can also shop, eat, play and walk around after. If you also want to support the library, one way is to check out their second hand books on the second floor or donate books as well.

This business is apparently contracted by the hotel we recently stayed at in downtown Sacramento…read more They had us leave our car blocking a driveway and after checking into the room and heading back out again, our car was still there. That really upset me as I thought they would be moving it right away when they told us to leave it there. By the time we had returned to the hotel it had been moved but it was still very inconsiderate. I found it annoying that they did not take cash when wanted to pick up our vehicle but they made sure to tell us it was fine to TIP in cash. Then we got charged a convenience fee of $2.50? A convenience fee is an extra charge added to a transaction when you pay using an alternative, non-standard method to cash. It compensates the business for the cost of processing the payment but you do not give the option to pay in cash and yet still charge the fee. Make it make sense. Also, our dashcam was unplugged. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt on that one and say maybe that was done because they were worried it wouldn't turn off and didn't want our battery to die, instead of my default assumption that they didn't want us to have proof of whatever happened to our car in their custody. I honestly don't know. I didn't notice anything missing or see any new scratches so I guess it could have been worse. Still, I would never park in front of a driveway and things like that make me never want to use valet.
