    Fried pickles & beer

Food and service were great. Fried pickles were my favorite. Had blackened grouper & Cuban . All very good food. It was not crowded but it seems very popular. Tammy was our server. Very friendly and attentive. Brought us a dog water bowl for the pups.

I love coming here from Tallahassee on a weekend when I want to "feel Florida." Always friendly service with a small town, coastal menu. The winged bar regulars are fun to watch. Grab a seat at the bar tables facing the river and enjoy the view.

Tony and I made it to St Mark's, FL today at 12:30 and stopped at Riverside Cafe for lunch. We sat at the tables lining the decking walls. It was very lovely, warm with a breeze and watching boats go by. The birds were watching us waiting for someone anyone to drop something. Tony had a draft beer, I went with Iced Tea half/half w Lemon and Lime. We opted for the Crab Fritters with a chipotle mayo dipping sauce and the River Burger with fries. The food we shared and it was very good! Waitress told us about live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area!!

Nice atmosphere and cool decorations. Your food is good, but it is a tiny bit pricey had the shrimp it was cooked well overall, but could use a little more flavoring. service was not Great from Isabel. she was not very attentive. She even said to me at one point that she didn't come check on me because she was too busy chatting I might return to try it again in the future.

I really enjoyed my time off here. I look forward to getting here next time when they have some live music going on. The service was great and everyone was friendly it was a great, very relaxing day...

If you drive straight down the Main Street you can't miss this great seafood place. It is open air and was a great supper for all of us! I had the blackened bay scallops and my daughter had the kids popcorn shrimp. We both loved it. The men had some variation of The First Mate and both liked the grouper the best!

This is about the eighth time I've visited and it's definitely a place to come to. Drinks are great and food is always fresh. Service is always friendly and the restaurant is full of funny signs that make for great conversations. I love the birds around the establishment and love watching them steal food. It's a fun time.

This place has amazing river view! If you live nearby, you should definitely eat&drink here by watching the sunset at least one time! There was also a live music, but I prefer sitting outside and chat with my friends. Meals were tasty, I ordered Blackened Fish Sandwich and loved it.

We stumbled across this restaurant after initially trying to go to Cooter Stew Cafe (closed). It's right on the water which is awesome. Server was nice and attentive. The food was not bad. We got a bacon cheese burger and the grouper basket with fries. The burger was pretty small, not too flavorful, and came out well done (or may have been previously frozen) when asked for medium. The grouper was very good but also seemed like a very small portion for the price ($14). It looked to be about 8 oz and was $26. Fries were tasty and sweet tea delicious. Ended up being a very expensive lunch and just not really worth the price; however, it is pretty much in the middle of nowhere with nothing else around so I can somewhat see the need to charge more to stay open.

Food is sub par and the service is hit or miss. I think they need to clean up and revisit their menu.

How can you tell if you are going to have a bad experience at a restaurant in the South?…read more There will be some signs I will share with you based on my recent visit to Big Randy's. Sign #1: Sweet tea brought to you is from a soda fountain and not fresh-brewed. Making fresh-brewed sweet tea does not cost much. The waitress admitted it to me. I cannot tell you how many times I have had an awful sweet tea from the tab and the the rest of the experience has gone downhill more times than stabilizing the sail. Sign #2: Buying ranch to go with your wings instead of at least being given an obligatory one. Wait...it gets worse...paying for a pre-packaged Ken's Ranch...not Ranch made in-house. Sign #3: BBQ sauce on your wings is Sweet Baby Ray's bought from the grocery store. That is what my wife received and I probably had Sweet Baby Ray's Gold on my overcooked wings. Sign #4: I haven't met many French fries I wouldn't eat but Big Randy's tested me. I couldn't eat them. They were like McDonald's fries except way too salty. My wife's fries had no salt. The only saving grace from a 1-star is at least they made my wings extra wet like I asked and the service was fine. That's how you earn a 2-star. Note: the fried pickles had more of a corn nugget batter and the floor was also very sticky.

Richie's is definitely worth a stop if you're looking for a big, old-fashioned burger in Port St…read more Joe. It's a casual setup with a drive-through and walk-up window, plus a covered outdoor seating area. There are plenty of fans, which made sitting outside tolerable even on a very hot day. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. The burger was HUGE and extremely good. This is a classic smash-style burger cooked on a flat top, so if you're expecting a charbroiled flavor, that's not what you'll find here. That said, I really enjoyed it. Mine was a tad over-seasoned, but I'll take slightly over-seasoned over a bland burger any day. My only real complaint was the bacon. It was a little stringy, so when I took a bite, an entire strip tended to pull out with it. That meant I basically got all the bacon in a couple of bites and then it was gone. Also, be prepared: this is a messy burger. The bun was fine, but it really couldn't stand up to the size and weight of two patties and all the toppings. By the end, you're probably going to need both hands and plenty of napkins. The onion rings were good and made a great side. I'll definitely be back. Next time I'll probably skip the bacon and try some of their less traditional burger toppings. If you like big, juicy, flat-top burgers and don't mind getting a little messy, Richie's is absolutely worth trying.

The restaurant was spotless, and the staff at the front counter were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. I also loved the patriotic atmosphere. The American flags and the seals representing all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces were a great touch and made the place feel unique. I ordered the double cheeseburger with pickles, grilled onions, ketchup, and mustard. I skipped the lettuce and tomato because of the recent Cyclosporiasis outbreak, which was just a personal preference. I also got an order of fries and their diet cola. Everything came out hot, just the way I like it. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The fries, with their light breading, were crispy and just as impressive. While the meal was a little on the pricey side, the quality of the food made it worth every penny. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back.
