Great food great service. We make it a must stop when in Sopchoppy, FL visiting family.

I would have given 0 stars but that wasn't an option. We went here because we were on vacaction and love to find little local places. This is not the place to go. Supposedly it was a buffet but there was no food in the trays, and the food that was in the trays looked like it had been in there all day. 1. Margaritas tasted like they had zero tequila in them. 2. Camerones A La Diabla.... ZERO heat. I mean, they literally should make you cry and they had zero anything. The shrimp still had the tails on so you had to burn your fingers to pull them off. 3. Salsa.... no salt. We had to add salt twice. 4. Refried beans. Zero salt. Lumpy like they came right from a can. Our friends were so excited for us to try this place because year ago they visited and had great service and food but today not so much. When we first arrived from biking they were told there was no soap or paper towels in women's restroom and when we left they had not fixed the problem. Now the food was mediocre at best. Two taco salads - one chicken and other beef. Plus 3 taco meal and a burrito. None was that tasty but after biking 12 miles we were starved and ate it all but not satisfied. Service left lot to be desired. Had to ask for dressing for our salads and refills for tea. It's hard to mess up Mexican food but they succeeded. Overall would not stop again. Our friends said year ago on Sunday it was packed this year hardly anyone was there - good reason for it. read more

Food was mediocre. They had 2 for one beers. My husband had a total of 3 beers. One was bought for him by our frIend since it was his birthday. So happy to have this great little restaurant , it's our go to every Friday night! Order your drinks and a fresh made chunky quac to enjoy while you check out the menu. I'm a street taco lover and my husband enjoys the Wakulla special burrito and the super fresh fajita options. Apologies for no pictures, it's just great food and disappears quick. This new Mexican restaurant took over the bright yellow restaurant space on the highway between Panacea town and Ochlocknee bay. Food is excellent. Way better than Jalisco -- our other choice locally. I'll post the entire menu. We had Wakulla Burrito, steak taco salad and green enchiladas dinner. All delicious! Other peoples food looked and smelled amazing as well. Warm fresh chips and fresh salsa served. They have a full bar. We will definitely be back!! read more

Someone needs to explain to these people that 2 for 1 beer means buy one get one (BOGO). Don't fall for their 2 for 1 to find out that it costs $12.99. This indicates that one beer is $12.99. The fact is they have one price if you buy one beer and a seperate if you do "2 for 1". I tried explaining it to the lady that their deal is not 2 for 1 and she claimed one beer does not cost $12.99, $12.99 is their 2 for 1. One beer costs less she claimed. WTF, then it is not 2 for 1. They lost a customer due to this ignorance. They will not last much longer if they are bickle and diming like that and false advertising 2 for 1. Clearly they are on the closing path judging by the lack of customers tonight. It is not about the couple of dollars, it is about the shameless deceptive business practice. This place is a jewel and we're so happy to have it in our community. Everything we have had here is authentic and delicious. I have to admit that I almost always get the Birria street tacos with the homemade corn tortillas and beef broth dip. The owners are always on top of things and the servers are friendly and attentive! They just added breakfast a couple days a week that we will be sure to try soon. What a nice surprise! My chicken taco salad was good. I asked for no spice and they did deliver. My husband also got a ground beef taco salad and he enjoyed it too. Various Street tacos were tasty. We love this restaurant. It is authentic Mexican food. The tortillas are homemade and are so delicious. Many people have never tasted a tortilla this fresh. The owner and staff are very nice people that treat their customers well. Most important is the freshness and tastiness of the food. They also make a Margarita with fresh juices. They are so good and no one around here makes it that way. You have to try their street tacos. They are the real deal. As Ernie said, the waiter asked if I wanted 2 for one small or large dos X draft. I said small, and told her I would just have one. (I had just had one on my boat before I came in) Fajitas were good. Bill came 899 for beer. I asked , is one small draft 8.99? She said that was the two for one price, she said. I said that is not how two for one works, and anyway, I just had one. Worst ceviche I have ever had. I took a half a bite and spit it out. I sent it back and she came out and asked me about it asked me if it was too spicy and no I just told her it tasted off because the shrimp to tasteed a little old, but mainly, it was bland, and had no taste to it at all. If you don't like spice, you may enjoy but otherwise very little flavour. I ordered a taco salad and was surprised that the shell which was tasty near the top but soggy on the bottom. I asked why and was told they soak the lettuce in water to keep it fresh. She thought they probably didn't drain it well. No flavour on the ground beef. Would not recommend. We would have rated much higher if they hadn't overcharged us. Food was fantastic! Had two street tacos and the Carnitas. But we ordered two tall beers and they ran out of Modello tap, so server said they would only charges for a small since it was only 1/2 full. Server didn't bring bill, so we went to the register and it was $45. Seemed higher but trusted then. I looked at the bill after we left and they did, indeed, charge full price for the beer and also racked on a $2 flour tortilla charge that we didn't order and didn't receive.
